Cozy cottage in downtown Hudson, WI!

Welcome to my vacation rental home in beautiful Hudson, WI. This home is walking distance to the St. Croix River, Lake Mallalieu, and the wonderful shops and restaurants in downtown Hudson. This cozy cottage home was remodeled specifically to host travelers. Every effort has been made to provide the amenities people seek while away from home.

Comfortable beds (both queens), wifi throughout the home, printer/scanner available, fully stocked kitchen with fresh ground coffee included. Large high-definition television in the living room. This home also boasts an outdoor charcoal grill, fire pit, and patio furniture. Guest also have access to a washer and dryer as well as a garage spot (upon request).

***This is a one bedroom home, the second bed is a queen sized pull-out Murphy bed located in the living room.***

Had a perfect stay at this cozy home. The host made check in very easy and gave precise details about every aspect of the home and expectations of the stay. Every room was clean and well stocked with almost anything you could think of needing. The bathroom had a plethera of new and used hygiene products, hair care and tools and other self care goodies. The kitchen was fully stocked for coffee, spices, plates and cups, utensils, and pots and pans. The bed was comfortable and had cozy bedding. In warmer months, I imagine the patio/deck are great for hanging out. There was a charcoal grill and many outdoor items to use. I was so impressed with all the options that made it feel like a home away from home. We were visiting family nearby and had flown in, and if staying here again I know I could pack much less and still feel like I have everything I need. The location was nice and quiet and not too far of a walk from downtown Hudson. Absolutely recommend this property.

It was a perfect cottage retreat in Hudson, WI. We visited Stillwater and Marine, MN, as well. Great shops, great food, and great weather. We will be back!

We loved staying at this house in Hudson, Wis! So cute and kept up beautifully. Not just the house, but the yard too. Gorgeous zinnias and hydrangeas greet you as you pull in the driveway. Inside everything was spotless. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, utensils, microwave, toaster, and of course oven and fridge. Love the concrete counter tops! The living room was well appointed with a couch, two chairs, coffee and end tables, footstool, and a Murphy bed. We had a slight problem figuring out the Murphy bed but Matt resolved that for us in a timely manner. He was great to work with.The bathroom had everything we needed for our stay. Love the black and white decor. The house is in a very quaint neighborhood. There's an elementary school across the street from it but that never bothered us. The porch was so cute, I wish it would've been a little warmer to sit out there in the morning. Sat out there for a couple minutes one morning but it was in the low 50's so I wasn't there long. I did venture out to get some shots of the full moon one morning...early! Got some great photos and it was so peaceful.There's a garage for renters to use but we did not.We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends and family if they're going to visit the Hudson area. Stillwater, Hastings, Red Wing, and a few other Minnesota towns are close by.Thank you Matt for sharing this lovely place with us! Your pride and the way you care for this house really shows.

The door that leads you into the kitchen is beautiful. No blinds or shades though. We brought a light weight blanket to put on top of it before closing it at night. Another review mentioned this. Very helpful.

Super cute and clean cottage. We stayed here while going to a wedding in the area, and it was perfect! Easy 1-mile walk into town and to the river. Would highly recommend!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Hudson. Th property is in a nice quiet neighborhood and close to a bike trail. Matthew was great host and responsive to all our needs. I would definitely recommend this place and we hope to return again.

Loved our stay here! The house is very clean and comfortable. We truly enjoyed sitting on the porch while drinking coffee in the mornings. Highly recommend this house and will surely stay here again if we return to the area.

Perfect Hudson getaway!

We stayed in Hudson here for the week as we worked remotely. The cottage is inviting in every way. All the amenities are provided and then some. We did use the Murphy bed, and it was surprisingly very comfortable and firm! We found ourselves dining on the porch often and watching all the bunnies and squirrels and other wildlife. The neighborhood is picture perfect for walking. We were easily able to cook in most nights. Downtown Hudson was just a short walk away. We would and will definitely book again!

Beautiful Cottage!

We Loved the cottage, so clean and decorated beautiful! The music as we entered and it smelled so good! Matthew was a great host very responsive and caring! It had everything you need and the yard was so pretty! We will be back for sure! A real Gem!!!

We were very impressed with this beautiful home! The neighborhood, so quiet and those tree lined streets . It was the perfect spot for our stay to see our grandsons graduation. We will definitely be back!

It’s a cozy tiny house in a quiet neighborhood. Well stocked with essential toiletries, cookware, and bedding. Stayed 2 nights and was not dissatisfied with anything!!
