The house is equipped with all comforts .. !! It has TV with satellite receiver, washing machine, hairdryer, toaster, barbecue, towels, beach towels etc ... nothing really is missing ... !!! The bedrooms are located on the first floor in the attic. One bedroom has a double bed and the other two singles. Both bedrooms have two wardrobes and a neighboring bathroom .. !! Outside there is a large veranda, a large car park ... a garden with trees and flowers .. !!! In addition, the swimming pool is for the exclusive use of the villa always available. The garden is completely fenced and there are no dangers for children. Animals are not admitted.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The hosts were fantastic and the villa was lovely. We had everything we needed for our week away. The pool was a really good size, we also had a table tennis table to use too. Would highly recommend to anyone. The town is beautiful and the locals were really friendly!

A sufficiently adequate kitchen. Although missed a dishwasher. Water pressure upstairs ruled the shower out. Pool and garden were amazing. Lots of sunshine made it even better. Eating alfresco was the best.Centre of town is close by. You definitely need a car. Taxi/Uber is expensive. Good location giving access to the north coast to do many trips.

Great stay!

We had a nice time staying here. The only and biggest downside was the fact that the pool was out of order. Which we did not know (since it was advertised with the pool). So that was a bit unfortunate, other than that the place is lovely.

Grazie per le belle parole. Mi dispiace per il malinteso della piscina, nella descrizione della villa c'è scritto il periodo di apertura e chiusura , purtroppo la signora non l'ha letto, infatti nel prezzo non era incluso l'uso della piscina proprio perché chiusa . Siamo sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi chiarimento. Villa Eugenio.

Quiet location… amazing garden and pool..

Owner Eugenio and wife Angela were the perfect hosts.. nothing was too much trouble.. arranged a friend to drive us shopping as we didn’t want to hire a car…recommended where to eat and drink..etc. Villa was beautiful so was the garden and pool. Highly recommend if you want to relax.. we even enjoyed the steep walk back to the villa after a few Aperole spritzers!!!

John C. The villa location is superb. We've stayed in many villas over the past few years and I have to stay that this house just about beats the lot. It's in a quiet location and the house is fitted out with everything you might need for a relaxing holiday. We had a great time and thanks to Eugenio and his wife for making sure we had a . memorable holiday I'd have no hesitation in recommending the house to anyone who wanted a quiet, relaxing holiday in Sicily.

Beautiful villa with a great pool

It is a large property with the most beautiful garden and pool. It is surrounded by nature and has a beautiful view of the mountains and even a little of the sea. The kitchen has everything you need. The only thing that bothered us were the mosquitoes. Maybe mosquito nets in the window would be a good idea. Overall, a dream property.

Lovely Villa

We had a great stay at the villa, the pool and gardens are as good as the photos! The villa is clean and has everything that you need. We didn't spend much time inside as its so nice to be sat in the covered area when the garden is illuminated at night. Angela & Eugenio were great hosts they welcomed us and kept us updated. Eugenio keeps on top of the pool and garden but is always very discreet so you never know he's there. We all had a a great time. Thank you.

A perfect stay in a big, clean villa with garden and amazing view

The property has a great view with the garden’ mountains and sea. Everything is very clean. Communication is perfect. Everything you need is in the house. Seats are great and numerous available. Windscreens can be closed to hide from the wind if necessary. Wifi works stable. Balestrate is a good starting place to visit the northwest of Sicily as the A29 autoroute is nearby. Palermo and Monreale is well known, Erice is great, the via del sale to Marsala is worth a visit. The panoramic viewpoint of Castellamare del Golfo, Scopello and San Vito Lo Cabo can be a good trip. Alcamo Is special, can be done in combination with the ancient temple and theatre of Segesta. Termini Imerese and the castle of Caccamo are also worth a visit.

Peaceful and Serene

Firstly, I'll write about the property, it is modern, clean, well equipped and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect, everything was as it should be. The location is fantastic, it's in the hill-side with fantastic views, in front you have the sea and behind you have the mountains. It is a very quiet and private location with only two neighboring houses but they aren't intrusive and no bother at all. The town has lots of bars and restaurants, bakeries, cake shops, etc and a few little quaint shops the piazza is a nice place to take an espresso and the locals are friendly and helpful. Palermo is an hour from Balestrate on the train and the train station is in the town centre, it's an easy trip and worth the day out. We also went to the Valley of Temples and the Turkish Steps, a must for any tourist. The beach is a little further, approximately 2km away and again, lovely but a car or cycle journey rather than a walk. Finally, Eugenio and his wife were very good renters, they met us, accompanied us to the house, showed us all the facilities and left their number should any problems arise or should we have needed any tourist or local information, nothing was too much for them. Make sure you eat locally because the food, hospitality, wine and local produce is to die for. Thank you for a happy holiday!

House with lovely pool

Villa Eugenio is a lovely house, close to the autostrada for trips and in fantastically kept gardens. We particularly enjoyed the lovely pool, which was always warm as well as the BBQ. The house is in a nice position with a view of the sea. The road leading to it is steep and single tracked, with few passing places, so easier with a small car! Angela and Eugenio met us at the bottom of the road on arrival to show us the way. They were friendly and helpful hosts, responding quickly to messages on WhatsApp. The aircon upstairs was helpful for sleeping. Great views from the big picture windows downstairs but they let in a lot of heat. None of the windows have mosquito screens so opening the windows to cool the house let mosquitoes in. My children and husband get bitten by mosquitoes a lot, so this wasn’t an option, so we found the ground floor very hot (obviously not a problem if mosquitoes don’t bother you). We would have spent more time outside in the evening, but there were too wasps for my kids (there was a wasp nest in the garden), probably due to the timing of our stay in August. We experienced a few power cuts (not unusual for Sicily) mostly short, but one lasted 7 hours. Eugenio came over really quickly to unlock the electric gates so we could get out, which was great. Worth noting that the water supply in the house relies on a pump, so we were without water for the 7 hours- although inconvenient, we managed, but it may be more tricky with young children.

Grazie per le belle parole, volevamo solo precisare che abbiamo provveduto a fare rimuovere il nido di vespe. Purtroppo avendo in Sicilia un clima caldo umido le zanzare ci sono, ma la casa è provvista di appositi strumenti elettrici anti zanzare, se ce lo faceva sapere avremmo provveduto. Cerchiamo di fare del nostro meglio per farvi trascorrere una serena vacanza , siamo sempre a vostra disposizione! .

Unsere zwei Wochen im Haus von Eugenio und seiner Frau waren toll! Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was wir benötigen. Die Schlafräume in der oberen Etage sind klimatisiert. Die fehlende Klimaanlage im Erdgeschoss störte uns überhaupt nicht. Die Gartenanlage ist super gepflegt und schön angelegt. Die Kinder liebten den Pool. Auf alle (auch individuelle) Bedürfnisse wurde eingegangen. Eugenio checkte für uns zB. täglich die Wasserqualität des Pools. Das Haus war bei der Ankunft sehr sauber. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und der Strand sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Alles in Allem ein schöner Urlaub!

Tolles Haus in einem sehr schönen und gepflegten Park mit Pool und toller Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge und etwas Meer.Gehobene Ausstattung mit gut ausgestatterer Küche und Espresso-Maschine. Zufahrt über 2 Tore geschützt - Grundstück Videoüberwachung. Sehr ruhige Lage, aber trotzdem nur 3 Minuten mit dem Auto in den Ort oder 5-10 Minuten zu den nächsten Stränden.

Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage direkt in Strandnähe

Das Haus hat alles, was es für ein Ferienhaus in Selbstversorgung braucht und mit dem wunderschönen Garten, Pool und der überdachten Terrasse perfekt zum entspannen. Man benötigt aber dringend ein Fahrzeug, um sich selbst zu versorgen und in der Umgebung Unternehmungen machen zu können. Sizilien in dieser Ecke ist allgemein in die Jahre gekommen und man merkt überall, dass viel Müll überall rumliegt. Dies muss man für sich einfach akzeptieren & ausblenden, da die Leute vor Ort einfach unfassbar herzlich und zuvorkommend sind. Angela und Eugenio haben sich prima gekümmert und waren für Fragen immer via WhatsApp ansprechbar. Vielen lieben Dank, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
