Great location for north of the Island. Large swimming pool was ideal. It’s about 15 to 20 mins walk into the centre of town but it’s a very steep hill coming back. Like most of Sicily, it’s a narrow road up to the villa so take care if you meet a car coming the other way. Air con was quiet and easy to use. Lots of cameras around the villa so felt secure. A toaster and dishwasher would have been useful but was no hassle. The mangos were very welcome and delicious. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Nice House with a fantastic private pool

We just ended a 10 day stay at this beautiful house. Ciro (House manager) was especially helpful, friendly and very precise. He made sure everything ran smoothely. The absolut best feature of the property is the large private pool surrounded by mango and olive trees. The pool is very Well maintenanced by the owner. The House was spotless and Well-equipped. Be sure to rent a car, and go explore the surrounding cities. Would definetely recommend 😎

Perfect chilled long weekend by the pool

We had a great time at Villa Carla, our host Ciro greeted us at different location on the main road so we would find the property, which is tucked just up the hill outside of Balestrate. A perfect location for us, just a 10 minute walk to town through a very quiet neighbourhood so we were able to relax in private and in peace. Ciro took the time to tell us all about the property and how everything worked, then sent us an excellent list of recommendations for the area which was so helpful. The place itself is as advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the lovely pool, with some beers and perfect local food from the nearby supermarket - in between enjoying restaurants in town and driving out to nearby spots. We would love to come back and if you're looking for a chilled place to explore from, at a very reasonable price, then would recommend a stay. Thanks so much Ciro and Balestrate! Hope to see you again

We arrived at the airport much later than we expected but as soon as we switched the phones on we had a message from Ciro letting us know that he was aware of the delay and sharing the meeting point location for us to meet him. And that was how it continued, great communication and we quickly appreciated his help, guidance and advice.On arriving at the villa, we were absolutely delighted with it. The pool was beautifully lit up for our arrival and you could see right away how well cared for the property was. The inside didnt disappoint either from the well equipped kitchen to the comfortable bedrooms and lounge area. Dining was possible in three areas that each had their own tables, inside the kitchen, outside the front door and of course, by the pool so plenty of choice for outside dining and we found that we moved with the sun!We cant fault the villa at all. We booked it because of its high review rating and it did not disappoint in any way.The location itself was great as we prefer a little bit away from tourist centres and Balestrate hit the spot. Hidden gems of restaurants, shops, butchers and cake shops. We had the best pizza we've ever had in the town and we've eaten a lot of pizzas! The people themselves had a gentleness and friendliness about them and always engaged with us and welcomed us wherever we went.We couldnt find anything to fault the property or location and thanks to Ciro, Maria and Giorgio for an amazing vacation.

Das Objekt liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Sowohl die gesamte Anlage als auch die Wohnung selbst sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es sind alle Gegenstände des alltäglichen Bedarfs vorhanden. Das Highlight ist der tolle Pool. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert. Sie waren jederzeit für uns erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir würden das Ferienhaus jederzeit wieder buchen.

Die Villa Carla ist ein Reiseziel für alle, die Ruhe suchen und trotzdem schnell an die umliegenden Orte angebunden sein möchten. Ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig, dann kann man verschiedene Ausflugsziele innerhalb 1 Stunde erreichen. Die Betreuung durch den Eigentümer und den Verwalter ist ausgezeichnet, sie stehen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Villa ist sehr sauber, ebenfalls das Außengelände und der große Pool. Die Klimaanlagen im Wohnraum und den Schlafräumen sind sehr nützlich, ebenfalls der Mückenschutz an den Fenstern. Wir haben uns während der 3 Wochen sehr wohl gefühlt und uns wunderbar erholt. Eine gelungene Überraschung war die Zitronen Eistorte, die uns der Eigentümer an einem Sonntag als Erfrischung brachte. Wir können die Villa Carla uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen und bedanken uns nochmals bei Ciro und Giorgio ganz herzlich.

Wir haben 2 Wochen mit unseren zwei Kindern (14+17)dort verbracht und wir haben die Villa sehr genossen. Das Highlight ist der große Pool, der super gepflegt ist. Das Haus liegt auf einem kleinen Berg und es weht dort sehr angenehm. Man hat dort wirklich seine Privatsphäre. Der Strand ist nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen, man kann auch laufen. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht und sehr angenehm ist natürlich die Klimaanlage. Ciro,der Verwalter, und Giorgio,der Eigentümer, sind ganz tolle, engagierte und herzliche Gastgeber, die sich um alles kümmern und sofort zur Stelle sind bei Fragen oder Problemen und auch viele gute Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung haben.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Buchung und Kommunikation sind sehr gut. Ciro und Gorgio sind immer ansprechbar und helfen. Es gab hilfreiche Tipps für Einkäufe, Restauranrs und Ausflüge. Schönes großes Haus mit einem tollen Pool. Im Haus gibt es alles, was man für einen schönen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt.

Oasi di tranquillità e benessere.

Il nostro soggiorno a Villa Carla è stato molto gradevole e in totale relax, complice anche la zona molto tranquilla nella quale la proprietà è immersa. La Tenuta di Villa Carla si presenta all'ospite molto ben curata, deliziosi giardini di palme e mango l'abbracciano e, circondato dal verde, spicca l'azzurro limpido della piscina. L'abitato è pulitissimo e fornito di ogni genere di comfort: stoviglie e suppellettili sono al completo, non manca nulla; gli ampi spazi della casa, interni ed esterni, sono perfetti per ospitare famiglie e la piscina regala momenti di divertimento e refrigerio. La spiaggia è raggiungibile in pochi minuti, ci sono zone libere ed altre attrezzate così come il paese, dove sono presenti esercizi commerciali e buoni ristoranti, pizzerie e gelaterie. Non manca però la possibilità di poter effettuare delle escursioni in spiagge limitrofe e luoghi come la riserva dello Zingaro, Scopello e anche a Palermo e zone attigue. I signori Giorgio e Ciro oltre a mostrare una puntuale professionalità hanno manifestato una vera e propria empatia e dedizione all'ospite, pronti e disponibili sempre a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Grazie per lo splendido soggiorno a Villa Carla.

Ein Ort zum Entspannen

Bereits vor dem Aufenthalt in diesem sehr schönen Ferienhaus beginnt die Super Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Sehr nett, immer erreichbar und für uns von Vorteil, perfekte deutsche Sprachkenntnisse. Wir müssen betonen, dass dies eines der saubersten und gepflegtesten Ferienhäuser war, was wir in den letzten Jahren bewohnen durften. Von der Küche bis zum riesigen 12mx6m Pool…alles war einwandfrei. Ciro, unser Ansprechpartner vor Ort, hat uns alles gezeigt, erklärt und gleich auch eine Vielzahl an Tipps gegeben, die für uns hilfreich und wichtig waren. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten wunderbar entspannen und die Tage genießen. Wir hatten durch die Vor-Saison natürlich auch das Glück, dass Balestrate selbst nicht zu überlaufen war. Als Hobby-Köche konnten wir in den Geschäften (wenn man möchte auch fußläufig erreichbar) all die leckeren Dinge (Fleisch, Käse, Wein, etc.) kaufen und in der schön eingerichteten und vollausgestatteten Wohnküche zubereiten. Ein weiterer riesiger Vorteil für uns waren die überall vorhandenen Insektengitter an allen Fenster. Es gibt noch so viele anderen positive Dinge, wie 2 Toiletten, 2 Duschen (eine Außendusche mit Warmwasser) und vieles mehr. Abgelegen von der Innenstadt hat man auch seine Ruhe, kein Durchgangsverkehr oder sonstige Beeinflussung durch andere. Sehenswertes gibt es überall in der Umgebung (alles innerhalb 1h erfahrbar. Für uns war dieser Urlaub sehr erholsam und wir können dieses Haus nur weiterempfehlen. LG

Wer Privatsphäre will im Haus und am Strand möchte, ist hier genau richtig!

Wir sind einen Tag früher als gebucht angereist (23:00 Uhr). Eine kurze Nachricht an den Manager Ciro und wir konnten glücklicherweise bereits die Nacht in dem Haus verbringen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, der Außenbereich lädt zum Entspannen ein. Der Pool ist einfach ideal für Groß und Klein, da er bei 1,35m beginnt und ab der Mitte tiefer geht. Es gibt links und rechts keine direkten Nachbarn. Man ist wirklich komplett für sich allein. Ciro ist ein sehr liebenswerter und netter Mensch, der jederzeit erreichbar ist und auch deutsch spricht. Der Strand ist fast leer, man hat viel Privatsphäre und wenig Tourismus. Den Strand erreicht man in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto, dort ist auch immer ein Parkplatz gebührenfrei verfügbar. Auch zu Fuß kann man den Strand gut erreichen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Lieber Ciro, danke für deinen herzlichen Empfang und deine nette Art 😊

Entspannung pur

Wir haben zu viert fünf Tage in der Villa Carla verbracht. Der Pool ist riesig und lädt zum verweilen ein. Man ist total ungestört und es ist herrlich ruhig. Das Haus war sehr sauber und in der Küche sind alle nötigen Utensilien vorhanden. Super gastfreundlich und netter Check-in und Check-out.

Fantastic swimming pool away from the tourists, near to Balestate and the Beach.

We had a wonderful family holiday at this private Villa that was surrounded by mango and other fruits trees. Ciro the host was very easy to communicate with throughout our stay and met us at a local petrol station to show us how to find the property and how everything worked when we arrived. The swimming pool is a amazing and kept us all entertained all week - we brought our own inflatable lilos in our hand luggage which was definitely worth doing (get yourself a battery powered micro air pump!). The property is about 300m from the nearest supermarket (Conrad) - there is a fairly steep hill to climb to get back to the villa, so pack sensible footware. We liked the town of Balestrate - it had some nice restaurants and there were 2 nearby beaches that were good - one beach had an inflatable assault course in the sea that the kids loved. The property had everything we needed - it was very clean and cool with some lovely outdoor seating areas to eat and drink at. We hope to return one day.

Excellent séjour en famille dans très belle villa!

Belle maison bien équipée (avec climatisation très efficace utile au mois d'août !). Superbe piscine et très beaux espaces extérieurs (notamment grande terrasse ombragée avec espace salon et repas). Localisation très bonne et au calme. Un grand merci à Ciro pour son accueil, ses explications et sa disponibilité au cours du séjour (Ciro parle plusieurs langues dont le français). Nous recommandons vivement cette location !

Kaunis ja turvallinen paikka yöpyä perheen kanssa

Huvila oli täydellinen paikka viettää lomaa perheen kanssa kahden viikon ajan. Altaan kokoa ei hahmota kuvista, se täytyy kokea itse! Allas on turvallinen myös pienten lasten kanssa, sillä sinne pääsee vain portin kautta, jonka lukkosalpaan lapset eivät yllä. Paikka on mangopuiden ja viljelysmaan ympäröimä. Kiinteistön ympärillä on korkea muuri yksityisyyden takaamiseksi. Seinien sisällä on kaunis, hyvin hoidettu puutarha palmuineen ja kukkineen. Auton pysäköinti ei ollut ongelma. Pihassa on tilaa ainakin kolmelle autolle. Talo on tyypillinen sisilialainen talo, joka on viileä jopa korkeissa lämpötiloissa. Ilmastointia emme juuri käyttäneet, vaikka se oli saatavilla. Keittiöstä löytyi varusteet kaikkeen ruoanlaittoon. Internet on myös saatavilla ja toimii. Talo oli erittäin siisti sisältä ja ulkoa. Isännät saivat meidät tuntemaan olonsa erittäin tervetulleiksi. Ciro otti meihin yhteyttä hyvissä ajoin ennen lomaa ja antoi ohjeet Balestrateen saapumiseen. Hän odotti meitä lähellä olevalla huoltoasemalla ja esitteli talon. Isännät pitivät omaisuudesta huolta ja varmistivat, että kaikki toimi. He molemmat olivat erittäin ystävällisiä ja kunnioittivat vieraan yksityisyyttä. Sijainti on täydellinen. Balestraten keskustassa on kaikki tarvittavat palvelut ja sinne pääsee kävellen. Joten jos autoa ei ole käytössä, se ei ole ongelma. Balestratessa on hiekkaranta, ravintoloita, leipomo, supermarket, kahvila, apteekki jne. kävelymatkan päässä. Balestraten kaupunki on kaunis, aito italialaistyylinen kaupunki kuin suoraan elokuvista. Tähän paikkaan palaisi mielellään!

Super Urlaub

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus mit grossem und sehr sauberem Pool. Der Besitzer sowie der Manager (deutschsprachig) waren äusserst freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuverlässig. Wir haben die ruhige Lage etwas ausserhalb der Ortschaft sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft.

Heerlijk verblijf op Sicilie

Een fijn vakantiehuis net buiten het authentieke badplaatsje Balestrate, omgeven door vruchtbomen. Huis was ruim, heerlijke veranda en uitstekend prive-zwembad dat 3x per week wordt onderhouden door de vriendelijke eigenaren. (worden meteen de vruchtbomen (mango/olijf/citroen) bewaterd). Door omheining ook fijn verblijf voor de hond, die in Balestrate ook op het lange zandstrand mag komen. Route naar de straat van het huis is deels steil en smal, maar wel gewoon verhard. Top vakantie

Fantastische Villa - checked!

Um es ein bisschen abzukürzen, wir schließen uns allem Positiven an, was bereits in den anderen Bewertungen beschrieben ist! Das Anwesen ist mit allem Drum und Dran hervorragend gepflegt und es funktioniert einfach alles. Einzig der Internetzugang über WLAN kann zeitweise aussetzen, wahrscheinlich liegt das aber am Festnetzbetreiber und nicht am Router. Vor Ort hat man aber auch guten 4G Empfang (wie gefühlt auf dem ganzen Rest der Insel auch) und somit ist das auch nur ein kleiner Makel. Es fallen in den anderen Bewertungen oft zwei Namen, die nur sporadisch erklärt wurden. Giorgio ist der Besitzer, er lebt mit Familie in Balestrate und hat das alles gebaut und pflegt es ständig. Wir hatten auch ein paar von den selbst angebauten Mangos bekommen, diese schmecken wirklich super! Ciro ist der einheimische Manager (auch von anderen Ferienhäusern) der euch in allen Belangen einweist, berät und unterstützt. Er hat lange Zeit in Deutschland gelebt, wodurch er perfekt deutsch spricht. Französich und Englisch beherrscht er allerdings auch. Kurzum, wir fühlten uns auch in dieser Hinsicht pudelwohl. Wir waren zwei Paare und ein zweijähriger Junge, das Haus ist nicht hellhörig und somit sorgt das auch für eine gewisse Privatsphäre untereinander. Überhaupt ist man auf dem Grundstück gut geschützt und stört anscheinend auch keine Nachbarn. Ein bisschen außerhalb/oberhalb des Ortes liegt die Villa sowieso. Verbracht haben wir dort die erste Oktoberwoche, es war immer noch warm genug, um den riesigen Pool und auch den Strand zu genießen, den man zu dieser Zeit fast für sich allein hat. Wir können einen Aufenthalt in der Villa Carla zu 100% weiterempfehlen! Mille grazie a entrambi, Giorgio e Ciro, e arrivederci! Andrea(s), Regina, Giacomo, Rebekka e Riccardo
