Pietro was great. Villa had amazing views of the lake with balcony, and we had fireworks in Como we could see nightly from the second floor balcony (great surprise!). Torno was a great village to stay in, less tourists, and very quaint. Single grocery in town (check hours, as closes mid day), and was next a free parking lot, since we had a car. Short walk to the marina for ferry or private boat tours. Excellent stay! Grazie Pietro!

Perfect place to enjoy lake Como

We had a lovely time. Torno is an idyllic little village with great food. The villa has stunning views of the lake and provides all necessary comforts. You can walk up into the hills from the villa and reach Como and around the lake easily by boat or bus.

Amazing views!

This place was amazing. The views at all times of the day are breathtaking. The host was very helpful and responsive. It is a bit of a walk to the property but my elderly in-laws managed. Parking can be a bit tricky but doable. Amazing overall experience. Will 100% stay again.

Nice stay with beautiful view

Though the property is a little bit up the hill, it's worth it since the view from the terrace is great! The breakfast alone up there every morning is a refreshing experience. The communication with Pietro was always extremely fast and he was very helpful.

Beautiful Location

We had two days in Torno and the place and house is really beautiful. Just pay attention not to bring to much lugagge as the the place has no road access and you need to carry it up the hill. Very kind host. Thanks a lot !

Really nice place to stay!

We had a few wonderful days in the house. The family is very hospitable. The house has everything you need. The beds, towels, all is comfortable. It has an amazing view. You'll soon forget the way to come "upstairs". :-) We would recommend the house to others certainly. Family with teens.

Our stay in Torno

We had a great stay at Pietro’s place. Communication went very smoothly. The view from the property is amazing. Torno is a lovely town, the location of the house is very unique. We liked the fact that there were 2 toilets. Some of the beds / furniture could use an upgrade. We did a wonderful hike behind the house, definitely worth it!

Me and my family had a great time on the Como Lake! We h ave been so lucky to spend the time in Pietro's gorgeous Villa, with the amazing scenary all around. A wonderfull place we recommand and would like to' join again in future. Thank you lovely family! See u next time! Ghane & F.

Joly Joly, this house is magic

We have been here just for few days. it has been amazing. This house is a magic place. The sky, the trees, the lake. And inside the chimney. The house is full option and if you like the antique typical italian furniture you can enjoy the two rooms. There is also a music collection (not really my style but anyway...).

Enchanted

My family and I recently stayed here for a month. We could not have wished for a better location and stay than at Villa Rosa. Pietro made us feel right at home and was always available for suggestions or advice on the surrounding area and town as well as beautiful hikes in the area. Our kids had plenty of room to play outdoors on the terraces garden below as well as the one on our level. The place is clean and has all required amenities for a pleasurable stay. The view of the lake is absolutely enchanting and visible from every room. Really feels like home and by the time you leave you’ll wish it were!

Wonderful days in Torno

This property met our needs perfectly. While it is a bit of a climb from the car park to the house, the view and the peacefulness are worth the effort. Despite the hot weather, the interior of the house remained cool and comfortable. We ate most of our meals on the lovely patio under a large umbrella. The owners were most helpful in providing us with information about restaurants and places to swim. We really enjoyed swimming from the small beach in Careno. Because parking is so limited, we left our car in the car park and used the bus and ferries to get around and this worked out very well with a little planning.

A lovely house with a great view!

We stayed at Jasmin No. 1 for two weeks this summer and it was a really pleasent stay:-) The house has a very nice, Italian atmosphere with spacious rooms and Pietro and his family are really helpful and welcoming. The view of the lake and the mountains is spectacular and Torno is a very charming small town with a well equipped grocery store, a gelateria, a cosy bar, etc. There are some very nice, small and quiet beaches nearby in Fagetto Lario (5 min. by car or bus). Previous guests have mentioned the walk from the parking area to the house: the walk takes about 10 minutes, and it is beautiful but also a bit steep (35-40 metres). We highly recommend a stay in Coerezza's wonderful pink villa:-)

A classical residence at the hill of a nice little village Torno, overlooking a marvellous Como lake

The house is situated at a hill with a nice and large garden with enough places to relax, enjoy a drink or meal and have the nicest view on the lake and. Small villages across the lake of Como. The house is equipped with more than enough to have a good bed, nice seats, good dinners etc. Pietro was helpfull upon arrival and leaves you to enjoy your stay in your own way. The dayly walk to the house is a good way to keep up your excercises as living up the hill and within the property is relaxing and confortable. We like to hike in the hills, have dinner in the nice rstaurants in the village and loved the small city-harbour with its pitoresque bar and friendly citicens of Torno.

Great views over the lake

The house occupies a fantastic setting with uninterrupted views over the lake. The house itself is spacious and reasonably child friendly and the garden is excellent wth plenty of seating options plus swings etc for the kids. Access to the house involves a lot of rough steps (we were warned) and is therefore difficult to access with a child buggy, although it can be managed. A microwave and an electric kettle would have been useful, the electricity 'trips' occasionally and the hot water can be a bit hit and miss. However, these small issues are well compensated by the setting.

Amazing Place

My family and I had a lovely week at the villa! You can't get it by car, but there is a box very near it, so no problem for the parking, and the less than 5 minutes walk is a very pleasure: while walking you can see the beautiful scenery all around you and fell the lake atmosphere. Just take car when it's raining because the stone path becames a little slippery. The house is very cosy and the garden is amazing. Pietro, provided for us even a plastic swimming pool, perfect for our kids. The enjoyed it a lot! From the garden you have an outstanding view of the lake. Torno too was a very nice spot and it is worth a tour. Many thank to Pietro and his family for their warm and great welcome! We would return in a heartbeat!

Beautiful

We have had a very nice 2 weeks in this beautiful, comfortable house on the hill. There was a great view on the Como Lake and a very nice garden. The beds slept well and the kitchen was very well equipped. The only troubles we have had, were the 144 steps and several hillsides from the street and parking place, to the house. The temperature above 35 degrees didn't help aswell. Bring not so many suitcases with you as we did. There is a great washing machine which makes it easy to wash. The house stays cool with high temperatures outside. It is great and easy to make a boattrip from Torno to Bellagio, Villa Carlotta, Como,etc. You can eat very well in restaurant Vapore at the harbor, but you will have to make a reservation for it. It is also very nice, good and cheap to eat and drink at the bar ( bed and breakfast) , also near the harbor. Many greetings to Mery, who was a nice lady who helped us a lot. Das Haus ist eine kleine Perle. Selbst von den Toiletten aus hat man Blick auf den See und das terrassenartig angelegte Grundstück ist wunderbar. Es hat Charme und man spürt, dass hier Menschen glücklich gelebt haben. Die Einrichtung ist entsprechend auch eher antik, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Wichtig nur zu wissen: das Auto kann ich direkt am Grundstück geparkt werden, sondern weiter unterhalb und man läuft einen sehr schönen Weg nach oben, der ca drei bis fünf Minuten benötigt. Ein riesiges Plus: direkt am Fuße der Treppen ist ein nettes kleines Weinrestaurant mit kleinen Gerichten, sowie eine kleine Bar, die Bushaltestelle nach Como sowie Bellagio, ein Bäcker, eine Gelateria inklusive. Auch der Hafen ist sehr schön und hat ein sehr nettes und nicht teures Restaurant. Wäre gerne spazieren oder wandern geht direkt vom Haus aus in beide Richtungen die via regia, ein schöner Wanderweg Punkt zu einer Richtung innerhalb von 2,5 Stunden etwa zur seilbahn von brunate. Alles in allem: eine tolle Destination! Der Kontakt mit Pietro war ebenfalls reibungslos und sehr freundlich.

Il est indéniable que la vue est magnifique une fois sur place. De toutes les pieces, on a une magnifique vue sur le lac de Côme. La maison est bien agencée et plutôt bien équipée.Il serait bon de préciser qu'il n'y a pas de parking sur place contrairement à ce qui est indiqué dans l'annonce. On ne peut se garer qu' à environ 10 minutes de la maison et il faut ensuite monter à pied. Il y a bien 1 lit double et 3 lits simples. Nous étions 6 et le 6eme lit est un lit de camp. Nous aurions aimé connaître cette précision aussi car cela n'est pas le mème confort.La maison est dans un style ancien ce qyi n'est pas du tout gênant pour une maison de vacances. Pour autant, certains matériels de cuisine mériteraient d'être remplacés.
