Villa Melina is an exquisite 2-bed villa, totally independent and completely private. It has a private swimming pool with most amazing seaviews and sunset views. It is built next to nature, surrounded by olive groves. It is located just about 10mins walk from Athani village and within 3-6mins walk from 3 tavernas, and next to 3 of the best and well-known beaches of Lefkada such as Porto Katsiki (8kms), Egremni beach (2kms), Gialos beach (3km) whereas numerous other beaches may be found to the north.

Villa Melina is approached from the road that leads to Porto Katsiki beach. As the grounds are sloping, a private road and a few steps lead down to the villaā€™s main entrance. The ground floor features the sitting room area, kitchen, dining table, a WC and a large extra room where the washing machine is. A stair leads to the upper floor with the two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other one with 2 single beds) each with a balcony with uninterrupted seaviews and the full bathroom with hydromassage shower.

The villa is fully equipped with a/c, satellite TV, CD and DVD player & CD and DVD library, fridge/freezer, 4-hob kitchen, oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, iron & iron board. Outdoors, it features terraces/patio area with five sunbeds, two sun umbrellas, shower, BBQ and dining furniture where you can relax and enjoy the wonderful sunset and sea views.

Normal occupancy is 4 guests, but it can accommodate up to 6 guests (small additional charge of ā‚¬25 per person per night).

Very Quite

We visited in May (early season). There were a couple of issues (no internet, leaking pipe) But the landlord fixed them straight away. Villa is well equiped and comfortable for 4 person max. Amazing views and the local Beaches are the best on the island but you need a Car. Egremni Beach you have a big hike and lots of steps, Gialos beach is the most accessable. Poto Katsiki is worth a visit ( pay for parking) A few tavernas are within walking distance with a convential Greek menu, food is Ok. The area is very Rural unspoil with little commerce apart from Honey and olive oil stores. A great spot if you want a Quite break

nice location but average value for money

Very nice location with great views and walkable distance to the Athani village (~25min) or to few nearby taverns. We enjoyed the pool a lot but wished for some more shade (trees) on the property. Despite "villa naming" the furnishing is plain average with bit of generic character; house could use some better maintenance on several areas; so we feel the property was overpriced (we stayed in much nicer property close to Vasiliki for less money in the same period). A bit more personal welcome would be well received by the travellers.

Wonderful place!

We loved our stay here. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the pool and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The check in was quick and easy and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The house is located on the most beautiful part of the island I would recommend this house!

Amazing sunsets

Superb location with amazing views and unbelieveable sunsets. Very clean, very attentive owners, very comfortable beds. Deserves a second visit, even more with the planned second bathroom. We really loved our stay!

Perfect holiday!

We had a fantastic holiday staying at the villa. The villa was beautiful and the view is stunning. The village we stayed in is beautiful and the locals are so friendly. The owners were brilliant hosts who made sure our stay was enjoyable. We highly recommend the villa to anyone who wants to visit Lefkada.

Lovely, clean, relaxing base to explore

Visited August 2018. 2 adults, 3 children. Lovely, clean, villa from which you can either relax around the pool or use as a base to explore Lefkada from (we did a bit of both). Local tavernas are within walking distance. Nearest beach (Gialos) has plenty of parking and a few beach bars making it easy to spend the day there. The people who look after the villa (Millos and Nikos) were really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and were happy to help with any queries we had. The outside space is particularly lovely with lots of plants and greenery. Pool was great and kept clean. The villa was well equipped with crockery, pots, pans etc - plus washing up liquid, dishcloths, dishwasher tabs etc which lots of places don't have. The only thing I would add to the villa is a toaster and a 5th chair for the outside dining area - saying that, we managed perfectly fine with the grill and carried an indoor chair outside when we ate - all perfectly manageable. I would definitely visit again and recommend this villa to friends.

Egremni Villas in Athani liegt auf einem Berghang mit wundervollem Blick aufs Meer. Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet (GeschirrspĆ¼ler, Herd mit Backrohr, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Toaster, Waschmaschine, BĆ¼geleisen + BĆ¼gelbrett, 5 Sonnenliegen, PooltĆ¼cher,...) und alle GerƤte haben einwandfrei funktioniert. Alle 3 Tage BettwƤsche-und Handtuchwechsel + Reinigung des gesamten Hauses. Riesige Terrasse mit Sonnenschirm und Ć¼berdachten Essplatz. Schƶner Pool mit vorhandenen Luftmatratzen. Etliche Tavernen (z.B. Greco Levante selbe EigentĆ¼mer wie Hausbesitzer) in unmittelbarer NƤhe mit traditioneller griechischer KĆ¼che. Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit, groƟzĆ¼gig und sehr bemĆ¼ht. dass sich die GƤste wohlfĆ¼hlen. Nette StrƤnde in der Umgebung (jedoch benƶtigt man ein Auto). Wer dem Trubel entfliehen mƶchte, ist in Egremni Villas bestens aufgehoben. GeschƤfte (TouristenlƤden) sucht man hier vergebens - Mini-Markets sind jedoch mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. GrĆ¶ĆŸere SupermƤrkte und GeschƤfte findet man in Vassiliki. Absolut empfehlenswerte Location.

Great view with Amazing sunsets

The villa is perfectly spotted in a quiet environment with great views over the ocean and amazing sunsets! For our family, 2 adults and 2 kids, the villa was spaceful and well equipped. Wi-fi, which nowdays is very important for the kids worked very well. To really enjoy Lefkas you need a transportation. By car we visited several of the Islands beaches. Our favorite ones was Porto Katsiki and Avali beach. A visit to the wineyard, Leukaditiki as well as Lefkas town is recommended. Nikos and Anna who also owns one of the nearby restaurants were very helpful, superfriendly and serviceminded!! We visited their restaurant Greco Levante and enjoyed their great food, fantastic view over the ocean and great service. Lefkas island is one of the best islands in Greece, and we have visited several during the years due to our greek roots:)

We found paradise!

This villa is truly the definition of paradise. The home is as advertised and the pictures do not do it justice. Lefkada is a wonderful island with the best beaches in the world. The family that owns the villa and Greco Levante are very welcoming and hospitable. Greco Levante was by far our favorite restaurant on the island. The food and wine are home made and very delicious. We will be back many times in future years!

Wondersful stay in Egremni Villas

Egremni Villas was exactly what we were looking for, a place to get away from it all and completely switch off and relax from our busy work life. Anna & Nico were welcoming and there for any advice or help but also left us to it and werenā€™t invasive. The villa was large, comfortable with a funky design and equipped with everything we needed. It was the perfect place to chill, our own private pool, sunsets and the only noise was from a cricket or two. You do need a car to get around and see the three beaches close by ā€“ Egremni Beach ā€“ 350 steeps steps from road to beach, Porto Katsiki -150 steep steps from road to beach or our favourite one where the locals go - Gialos beach which you could park right next to the beach. You would miss out not having a car and donā€™t be put off by hiring one (as we almost were) as itā€™s definitely worth it. From the airport to the villa it takes approx. 1.5 hours but itā€™s a lovely drive and the roads do not get that busy as this Greek island is still unspoilt and traditional. This is not a place to come for bar life and partying. The main town Lefkada is well worth a visit to sit and have a coffee in its main street and watch Greek life and the locals pass by. Groups of old boys meeting for a natter and ladies stopping to shop, the place has a great vibe of Greek culture and we loved the town. The villa was the main reason we would and will return. Just the two of us got to switch off, read, enjoy Mythos and G&Tā€™s by the pool at sunset then watch the bats dart into the pool eating the bugs. You canā€™t imagine the vast amount of sea in front of you ahead, and either side until you are there on their balcony, no photos can show this greatness. This makes for excellent day dreaming and witnessing the best storms youā€™ll ever see and of course the stunning sunsets.

A fantasy home by the sea

A fantastic location, wonderful sea views, so peaceful and yet within easy reach (by car) to a choice of local tavernas. The villa is spacious, clean and comfortable and we were warmly welcomed by the owners. The pool was great and there was always a cooling breeze, we loved sitting on the upstairs balcony to watch the sunsets. The beaches are a short drive away, although the roads are not for the faint hearted! Would recommend for a totally get away from it all holiday.

Just right!

We have just spent a great week in this villa. We had great communication all along with the booking and payment process and had good details of how to find the villa. The owners live just up the road and run a great restaurant. They were very helpful. The villa and pool were spotless and they get leaned every 3/4 days. There is plenty of room for a family of 4/5. It is very lose to some spectacular beaches but be prepared for some steep steps. Thank you Anna and Nikos for a lovely holiday.

Prelep zalazak sunca

Proveo sam predivne dane odmora sa porodicom u Vili Eleni,u prelepom selu Athani u Lefkadi.Uzivao sam u predivnom pogledu,prirodi..nikada necu zaboraviti taj prelepi zalazak sunca.Dobro je to sto su mi najlepse plaze ostrva bile blizu,, Vila je predivna, ?????a ? ????a,prijateljska usluga Nevena sa porodicom
