There is one double bedroom with balcony serviced by a shower room. Parking available at local car park - just a few minutes walk. These fantastic free festivals see the harbour and Hope Square closed to traffic. With live music, entertainment and stalls throughout the weekend. Town: Weymouth is a great place to visit any time of year because of the large range of activities available, which are fun for people of all ages and interests. The beautiful, golden sand beaches are home to first-rate watersports infrastructure, and fishing expeditions leave regularly from the harbor's charming, thriving centre. It's only a short drive to go to Portland Harbour and the "Island" of Portland, which is connected to Weymouth by the breathtaking Chesil Beach. Dorchester, the inspiration for Thomas Hardy's "Casterbridge," is approximately 7 miles distant, and along the coast you can stop by the Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. You may also just go to West Bay; the scenery along the Dorset Heritage Coast is breath-taking.
