Northwoods lake house creating priceless family memories that last forever!

Our Home has just been completely remodeled with a new open kitchen that looks out to the gorgeous lake. And a new bathroom. This home has two traditional Bedrooms with Queen Beds and a loft that features two more queen beds, and two futons. In the main living room there is a love seat and a sleeper sofa. Lake decor that is sure to please with outstanding views from almost every room of the lake and dock that is ready for your boat. Or rent one from MSM Marine and they will put it in for you! Two kayaks are available for your enjoyment on the open water. Come on up and explore the lake and the woods close to all main Snowmobile and ATV trails.
Crystal Lake is a 75 acre lake located in Forest County. It has a maximum depth of 36 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass and Trout. We are catch and release do to recent flood levels. The lake's water clarity is very clear. Other lakes are very weedy and mucky Crystal lake is a clean and clear Lake!
Great for relaxing and fishing along with just cruising the lake.

Beautiful Property

We stayed three nights in this lovely cottage and I nearly stayed forever. It is a beautiful place, amazing swimming lake, and wonderful owners.

This was our third year renting Scott’s cabin. We love it here. We fish, we play yard games, have fires, etc. Scott is very accommodating and helpful if anything is needed. Thanks for another great trip!

We stayed here for the Crandon Labor Day races and it was fantastic. Check-in and out was easy and straight forward. Plenty of parking for 4 vehicles, the house and property were very well kept and updated. We had no complaints whatsoever and will definitely look at booking again next year. Also, make sure you step out near the water’s edge at night on a clear night and stare at the stars. It’s breathtaking!

Siblings and spouses retreat

Outstanding! The owners take immacualate care of everything and are so helpful. There are 10 of us all 60 years plus. The setting cannot be beat.

Perfect Lakefront home

We loved our stay here, and only wish it could have been longer! the house is beautiful and has all of the amenities for cooking and outdoor recreation. There was also plenty of parking. We hope to be back someday!

Relaxing lake vacation

This is a beautiful property on a clear sandy lake. Communication with the hosts was easy and we got immediate reponses to any questions. We have been staying there for several years and love it! The ONLY downside is only having 1 bathroom if you have a large group, but it works out.

We love this property! The lake is beautiful and clean. There are plenty of water activities and the fishing is fun for the kids. The only addition we need is a second bathroom ;)

Lake Heaven

Our favorite piece of Lake Heaven! Scott and Colleen are amazing hosts, they have thought of everything to make our vacation amazing. Comfortable beds, very clean, outdoor seating area, restaurant recommendations, beautiful home, clear lake, kayaks, paddle boards. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Relaxing weekend

The house was beautiful! It had everything we could ask for. Scott was very prompt answering all my questions. The water was so clear you could see all the way to the bottom. We will definitely be back again!

Beautiful home and location!

This home was very clean, up to date and reasonably priced. The property owners are friendly and helpful. It’s a quiet area and low traffic lake making it perfect for relaxing and enjoying the water. Easy to get to in an area with no hustle and bustle. I highly recommend this home! We frequent the Pickerel area often and it’s one where you always feel like one of the locals and never a tourist.

Family Trip

We grew up coming to my grandparents cottage on this lake. As our family has grown, we wanted our own space. We stayed with 7 adults, 2 teens, and 2 babies and had an amazing time. Caught SO many fish, kayaked, paddle boarded, had fires, etc. Was an amazing trip and spent a lot of time crossing the lake to see other family at our grandparents cottage. We will be back every year! Scott and Colleen were wonderful hosts and the place has everything you need!

The property it self was nice, lacked cleanliness. Mouse droppings

The property it self was nice, the listing of the property was transparent to the property itself. Our family trip was going great until we went to cook dinner. Opening the oven drawer looking for pans, there was a lot of mouse dropping in the drawer. We tried to brush it off, but when we opened the pullout couch to head to bed, more mouse droppings. Everywhere. Place was very unsanitary, felt very uncomfortable.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed the lake house and the lake. Crystal lake is calm and quiet. A perfect place for the paddle boat, paddle boards and kayaks. We caught fish right off the pier. We grilled out and enjoyed the camp fire. We rented a pontoon boat from Motor Sports Marine. We spent the day on Pickerel Lake which was really nice. Scott was very easy to chat with during our stay. Would recommend.

Beautiful Property

Had a great time with family enjoying kayaking, paddleboarding and the sun on beautiful Crystal Lake. Scott always responds to questions promptly and makes sure we don't need anything. We have rented this property three times now and will continue to do so in the future.

Crystal lake rental

Beautiful property. And to have the owner right next door in case something happens is a plus. Crystal lake is spring fed, so it's very clean. The house is nice size, but the only negative is that it only has 1 bathroom. Also, it would have been convenient to have the paddleboat already in the water. Luckily we had 4 adults that carried it from alongside the house to the lake. And construct a little roof over the cayaks would help to keep the leaves off of those. But overall very happy with our stay, and if we can arrange a the trip in the future we will consider the property again. Thanks Scott.

Pickerel in the Fall

My extended family (cousins, spouses, child, sister) stayed during the fall and it worked really well for us. There is plenty of space and well suited for our larger and diverse group. The kitchen area has plenty of seating and well stocked with supplies. The location was great for what we were looking for. The host, Scott, was very responsive with a couple questions. Would definitely return! Preferably when it is warmer to take advantage of the lake :)

Amazing Crystal clear water with a great beach and boating. This spring feed lake is always clear with little to no weeds. Our childhood memories keep us going back every year to make more memories.
