Cozy Lake Front Cabin

Welcome to our newly remodeled cozy lake front cabin. This cabin may be small in square footage but it makes up for that with picturesque views and lake front charm. We have made lots of updates without taking away the rustic charm. This cabin is located in a calm bay on Pickerel Lake. A small private boat launch also available right out the front door.
We have a large parking lot that is able to accommodate multiple vehicles and trailers.
We are steps away from Pickerel Point Resort.
We are located 15 minutes from Mole Lake Casino and 25 minutes to Crandon.

The cabin was very nice, just as listed; and very clean. Right on the lake with a private dock. We hope to be back next year. We saw eagles, which was very exciting.

Incredibly clean and comfortable. Very quiet. We had absolutely everything we needed. Wi-Fi was fast. Perfect spot to decompress. Kudos to the hosts. Well done.

Nice place to stay. Cute cabin, right next to the water. Beautiful view of the lake. Weeds are terrible. I hear it’s an ongoing problem. Caught Northern Pike, Sun fish, blue gill, large mouth bass, a couple cat fish, bull head. On the list about the lake and rules on a laminate paper. It had on there if you catch bull heads to throw them away as they are bad for the lake. Caught two and threw them away. Not sure if I would go back until they clear up the weeds. If you are there to stay at a cabin and look at the lake it would be great. But not if you want to do much fishing.

Cutest little cabin on the lake

Our family of five enjoyed a weekend up north and the cabin was just right for us. Mom and dad in one room, the three kids shared the room with the queen w/trundle bed. While the cabin isn’t huge, there was plenty of space to have a meal at the kitchen table and with two couches there was seating to watch a movie or play a game in the living room. And the bar within walking distance had delicious pizza for dinner our last night there. The highlight is the location, right on the lake. The view from the deck was beautiful and the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee and a good book. Next time we’ll bring our fishing gear and try out the kayaks. Checkin was easy, the host was responsive to all questions, and the place was spotless. Look forward to staying here again.

2nd Annual trip

This was the boys second annual fishing trip staying here and it was just as perfect as the first time. My son loves that it's just a few steps away from more fishing and my dad loves the rising sun and wildlife on the lake. I love how one place, even though it's not large, it can sure hold a lot of memories. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen has plenty of room to cook and enjoy a meal and the living room was a great spot to chill and watch a thriller after a long day. On top of this great place was the awesomeness of the town itself. Highly recommend the campfire bar and grill down the road, super friendly staff at the gas stations and kudos to how friendly and responsive the host was. We had zero issues and can't wait for year 3!!

Great winter stay and peaceful area.

We had a perfect stay for our family of four. Beds were comfortable and the overall cabin was very nice. Great area and we hope to be back.

Cozy lake cottage

Very comfortable cottage for small family. Walking distance to food. Everything we needed for our week of vacation. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Lake Getaway

The cottage was perfect for a four-day fishing adventure with grandson. The cottage had everything we needed plus a spot to park boat and trailer. Lots of fun nature activities nearby.

Pickerel Lake Cabin

Nice cabin on the lake, perfect location near Pickerel Point and other surrounding bars/restaurants for food and drinks. Cabin was nicely updated with great deck at the waters edge to capture beautiful sunrises. Very peaceful and relaxing! Hosts were great, very easy arrival process and checked on us the next day to make sure all was ok. We were able to spend some time talking with them on the history of the property. Having some family history on this property (my dad and grandpa owned the resort in the 70's and built this cabin) it was nice to see them interested in learning more about the property as well. It was originally the Linger Longer Resort, most recently Break Away Bar prior to their ownership and it nice to see them keep the name as Breakaway Bay. We were also able to see the transformation of the old bar which is going to an amazing rental unit which we are excited to bring rhw whole family back to stay in. Thanks again!

Beautiful View with a Great Location!

This cabin was a perfect getaway with an amazing view of the lake! We loved being within walking distance of Pickerel Point and had plenty of parking as we had our truck and UTV trailer. The deck and dock overlooking the water were perfect for fishing and enjoying coffee in the morning! There were two kayaks there for us to use and they have a small fire pit right near the water. Wi-Fi worked great and we were able to stream Netflix and stay connected since cell service wasn't great in the area. The kitchen had everything we needed and the K Cup coffee machine was a plus. Communication with the property owners was very smooth and we are definitely planning to stay here again! Would highly recommend for a couple or small family!
