The place is identical to the pictures. This is our second consecutive year staying here. Our family adore the place. The serenity of the area is perfect. Small village 5 minutes away and bustling Rethymno 25 minutes away. Perfect balance of peace and lively.

We received such a warm welcomea€”it was an experience unlike any other oŸ˜S. Everything we needed for the first day was already in the fridge; a huge thank you for that oŸ¥°. Stamatia was incredibly friendly and kind; she would stop by to tidy up, change the bed linens, and swap out towelsa€”she was so hardworking oŸ˜S. Andreas came by every morning to clean the pool and take out the trasha€”thanks for that, too oŸ˜˜. The villa was a place to relax and find peace; we lacked absolutely nothing. Anyone looking for a touch of luxurya€”whether for peace and quiet or simply to unwinda€”has come to the right place

The cleaning service is of a high standard. Also, nice spacious outside area with private pool.Villa Marielia is a hidden gem in Rethymno. The villas private pool and barbecue area were delightful. The spacious bedrooms and extra bathrooms provided convenience for our group. A wonderful choice for those seeking a secluded and charming getaway.

If you want to switch off away from civilisation, this is the place for you! All you can hear is nature.The villa is on a huge plot a few minutes drive from a small village where there is a bakery, two supermarkets and a couple of restaurants.The villa itself is very spacious and clean. There were only two of us staying, but it would be comfortable with six people. The only issue I could think of is that the kitchen is compact.The outside space is amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. Loads of space to spread out.The owners are lovely people. They brought us baking and homegrown fruit. Andreas cleaned the pool and emptied the outside bin everyday at 8am. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Wunderschönes Haus mit sehr liebevollen Gastgebern

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Stamatia und Andreas empfangen. Beide haben uns sofort ein zu Hause Gefühl gegeben. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und auf einem modernen Stand. Bei der Ankunft war sogar der Kühlschrank mit der ersten Verpflegung gefüllt, was für uns sehr überraschend war und wir so noch nicht erlebt haben! Andreas hat jeden Morgen den Pool sauber gemacht und war immer gerne und herzlich für ein Gespräch offen! Die Lage vom Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Mit dem Auto und ca. 7 Minuten Fahrt erreicht man Supermärkte, Apotheke und Restaurants. Es erfolgte alle 4 Tage eine Haus Reinigung , was für uns ebenfalls unüblich war! Wir wurden gegen Ende unseres Aufenthalts mit einem Einheimischen Kuchen überrascht, was uns sehr gefreut hat! Zum Abschied gab es dann auch noch Geschenke. Alles in allem ein wundervolles Haus mit super Gastgebern! haben!
