Fantastic Holiday

The condition of the house was as described and we enjoyed our holiday a lot. The location of the house is perfect and offers a stunning view into the landscape of the island. We also liked the pool very much. There are some nice details, like insect nets at the windows, which make the house even better.

Großzügiges Haus mit tollem Pool in schöner Natur

Sehr schönes und großzügiges Haus, mit großem beheiztem Pool.Matratzen waren aber leider sehr unbequem, die Wasserhähne verkalkt, die Türen klemmten und es hätte etwas sauber sein können!Schade war, dass keine Gewürze, wie ausgeschrieben vorhanden waren und auch Öl wäre wünschenswert gewesen! Der Kamin funktionierte auch nicht!

Villa Hilera: wir kommen wieder

Sehr großzügig aufgebaut, in Küche und Bad alles auf bestem Niveau. Etwas hellhörig vielleicht, aber für uns kein Thema. Herrliche Lage mit Blick auf die Hochebene, den neuen Vulkan. Morgens ab 8:20 kommt die Sonne auf die Terrasse, genau richtig zum Frühstück…

Una casa preciosa

Nos ha gustado mucho la casa y la buena disponibilidad de sus dueños ante cualquier contratiempo. Las parte negativa ha sido la ola de calor que hemos pillado y un incendio cerca que ha hecho que dos días nos faltara el agua, aunque por suerte se solucionó bien.

Quiet getaway with stunning views

This house was everything we wanted. The indoor pool was great as the children didn't get cold. The communication with Diane and Mila is great. The house is really well equipped to a high standard and we didn't feel like we were needing anything else. We were visiting family over here and it was ideal for everyone. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Traumhaus zum genießen!

Wir haben zu viert zwei Wochen lang dieses Traumhaus in herrlicher Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht und das große Schwimmbad sehr genossen. Das Haus ist ideal gelegen um von hier aus die gesamte Insel zu erkunden. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet um sich hier abends von den Erkundungstouren zu erholen.

Our second Christmas in this wonderful villa!

The fact that we decided to return to this villa speaks for itself! We so enjoyed our Christmas break in 2017 we wanted Christmas 2018 to be as good - in fact it was even better. We were able to book for 2 weeks for this trip and still felt reluctant to return home on the last day. The weather was very good - 23C on Christmas day, which felt much warmer! As before we loved the wonderful location and beautiful views of the mountains. The indoor pool is such a great bonus for early morning swims, followed by a sauna. On our second week, the owners arranged for some English speaking channels to be installed on the TV, so it was great to watch the Queen's speech live in the sunshine! We enjoyed going to the local music club in El Paso, all the musicians were very friendly and my husband had fun playing guitar with them! Everywhere we went we found people friendly and courteous - La Palma is a very special island. Although when we arrived the water supply was not connected, it was quickly resolved by Jose - communication was fun - with the aid of Google Translate.

Very nice and quiet retreat

We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks in this beautiful villa and had a great relaxing time. The owner familiy and their local team are always reachable and very supportive. We clearly suggest this property to all who are looking for a quiet time in the holidays.

Spacious and clean accommodation with stunning facilities and views

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the property, and were very impressed with the location and beautiful outlook. Very peaceful and quite. The facilities were excellent, the property is spacious, well equipped and met all of our requirements and expectations. The indoor swimming pool was an added bonus, very clean, warm and much larger than we had anticipated. The sauna was most welcome too. Plenty of replacement towels, linen, kitchen items, loo rolls etc. We self catered and found the kitchen well equipped and easy to use. A definite home from home - and we would stay again.

A relaxing Christmas in a beautiful location

We felt confident that this was going to be a good holiday, as we received a great response from Diana(the owner's wife) to all our enquiries before we left the UK. Diana not only supplied names of restaurants, but also full details from their websites. This is a beautiful area & the views from the house are stunning - at night the stars looked large & bright, you almost felt you could reach up & touch them! The house is clean and very well equipped - the star features for us were the large indoor pool & the Sauna. Swimming on Christmas Day was such a treat. This was our second visit to the island of La Palma, so we expected the temperature to be chilly until about 10.30am; then it rose to between 21 - 23C until about 5pm. The sun sets around 6.15pm - we enjoyed viewing the sunsets from the balcony before retreating to the log fire. The central heating was very effective, we always felt comfortable. The house is on the edge of the National Park, so we liked to be able to walk from the house into the Pine forest. However, apart from a few brief trips out we were loath to leave the comfort of the house. The large supermarket in El Paso was great with a large selection of food with a particularly good fresh fish counter. We can't wait to return - which is unusual for us, as in the past we tend to book different accommodation even if we return to a region - that speaks for itself!

Fantastic holiday home for 8 persons

We had a really nice stay in the house. It was our first time on La Palma, a beautiful island. The house was well equipped and to have a private swimming pool, that was heated, was really nice. Nothing to complain about

Toller Blick aus warmen Wohnzimmer

Wir, 6 Freunde, haben Anfang März in dem wunderschönen Haus einen Wanderurlaub verbracht. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet, sehr geräumig und alles war sauber und gepflegt. Bestechend ist der Ausblick, den man sowohl vom Wohnzimmer als auch vom großen Balkon hat. Besonders schön war der Blick auf die Berge mit dem Schauspiel des "Wolkenfalls" und dem täglichen Regenbogen. Das Haus liegt auf 900 Meter und damit relativ hoch und es ist auch immer deutlich kälter als in tieferen Lagen. Da ist es in unserer Woche insgesamt eher frisch war, haben wir uns abends sehr über die gut funktionierende Heizung gefreut. Auch war der Indoorpool die bessere Alternative zu einem Aussernschwimmbad. Das Haus hat vier Schlafzimmer und ist damit auch gut für 8 Personen geeignet. Allerdings könnte es innen etwas eng werden, da der Esstisch schon für 6 gerade ausreichend war und auch die Sitzgelegenheiten im Wohnzimmer nicht recht für 8 Personen reichen würden. Normalerweise wird es aber wohl nicht immer so kühl sein wie in unserer Woche und im Freien gibt es genug Tischplatz und Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Haus ist schön in den Bergen gelegen, direkt an mehreren Wanderwegen. Zum Einkaufen und für den Weg zu Restaurants ist aber ein Auto nötig. Leider gab es während unserer Woche größere Probleme mit dem Warmwasser. Nachdem jemand geduscht hatte musste man eine gehörige Zeit warten, bis wieder warmes Wasser kam (oder halt kalt duschen). An gleichzeitig warm duschen war nicht zu denken. Dies hätte zu einem deutlichen Sternabzug geführt wenn die Vermieter nicht schon währen unseres Aufenthalts eifrig bemüht waren, das Problem zu beseitigen (es war wohl gerade eine neue Anlage installiert worden) und uns glaubhaft versichert haben, dass sie nach unserem Besuch einen größeren Boiler installieren werden (was hoffentlich inzwischen auch geschehen ist). Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern (die ja leider wegen des Warmwasserproblems etwas ausgiebig war) war problemlos. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und wir würden es jederzeit wieder mieten. Hierfür vielen Dank an die Vermieter.

Fully equipped and very nice holiday house!

We were one of the first to visit this beautiful located house on the west side of the Island (always sunny and less wind). This fully equiped house has it all... even towels, bedsheets, products for the dishwasher, sauna, wifi... everything you need to feel at home... on holiday! We were with 6 friends on mountainbiking holiday, but it is also perfect for large families or couples who want to enjoy a holiday in La Palma. Location is a bit outside El Paso... you have preferably a car available at the house (or bike) to go to the supermarket. Only 2 minor remarks: - the BBQ is too far away from terrace and kitchen... although they are tables available at the BBQ - we preferred to eat on the house terrace, near the kitchen - there is only an inhouse pool But overall superb house and very nice people to arrange you holiday!
