Casa Miranda is a house in a completely secluded location at an elevation of approximately 450 meters above sea level. Nestled in the heart of nature among organic banana plantations, the house offers a unique view of the vast, open ocean. The house is located in the Aquatavar district of Tijarafe. Thanks to its hillside location near the coast, the house enjoys an ideal climate for basking in plenty of sunshine all year round.

The center of Tijarafe is a 10- to 15-minute drive away. Within an hour, you can walk to La Prois, Tijarafe’s so-called “Smugglers’ Cove.” It’s a very beautiful hike down to the coast. You can also drive 15 minutes to a parking lot and walk about 15 minutes from there. In La Prois, the locals have small weekend cottages, and when the sea is calm, you can even take a swim there. Playa de la Veta, a small sandy beach in the summer, is about a 20-minute drive away, but this is followed by a steep 30-minute descent on foot.

Tijarafe is a small town in the west of the island. The town has a supermarket, a pharmacy, banks, a pizzeria, and an organic grocery store. A short stroll through the village’s narrow alleys to the picturesque church and the church square is well worth it. Sitting in the sun at the Kiosko de Diabolo, you’ll feel that vacation vibe; the selection of tapas changes daily. It’s worth staying until sunset to enjoy a unique photo opportunity with a view of the west coast.



Casa Miranda:

Casa Miranda consists of a main house for 4 people (80 m²) and an annex (50 m²) for 2 people. The annex is located below the pool area. It is not rented separately and remains closed when the main house is occupied by up to 4 adults and 2 infants under 2 years of age. It can be booked separately at any time. If the four of you would also like to use the annex, please book for 5 or 6 adults or contact us.

The house is ideal for a relaxing vacation for two, but also for families or groups of friends, as it can accommodate up to 6 people in total.

Casa Miranda is a rustic, very well-maintained finca; the interior is also entirely finished in wood, giving the finca its very own unique charm. A staircase leads to a small covered terrace. This is the perfect spot to enjoy the breathtaking view of the sea and the unspoiled natural surroundings while dining. The blue of the sky and the blue of the sea blend seamlessly together.

The terrace leads into the light-filled living and dining area. From the two cozy sofas, you have a beautiful view of the terrace and the horizon. The living area is open to the dining area and the integrated kitchenette. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the dining table comfortably seats 4 people. The two bright bedrooms are furnished with antique furniture and each feature 2 single beds; between them is a simply appointed bathroom.

By the large private pool (10x4m), located below the main house, there is a table with seating for four people, and six lounge chairs are also available for relaxing in the sun. The garden and the entire property are very well-maintained and abound with orange and other fruit trees, which you are welcome to help yourself to. The outdoor area surrounding the main and guest houses has been lovingly landscaped so that the entire finca shines with vibrant colors. There is a small grill at the back of the house.

To the left of the pool, stairs lead down to the guest house, an old converted warehouse. Like the main house, it features the Canarian style with a typical Canarian wooden roof. The annex has its own unique charm and creates a romantic atmosphere. The small bedroom has two single beds. Through the window, you also have a beautiful view of the ocean and the small terrace. The living and dining area is bright and inviting and consists of a small sofa with satellite TV, a large table that seats six people, and a well-equipped built-in kitchenette. Adjacent to this is a small, simple bathroom with a shower. The adjacent house also has a small, covered terrace situated in the shade. Here you can watch the sun set over the sea while enjoying a glass of wine.
