An awesome stay at the Lake District

My family and I were lucky to have stayed at this property. We all loved every thing about this Richmond House. It’s really a 5 star Unique Grand Design. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for all my friends.

From start to finish this was a top rate stay. Otto quickly answered our questions and the house was clean and beautifully presented, including a Christmas tree and other festive decorations, which we loved . The underfloor heating was great after a day out and about too! Would definitely recommend a stay here. Just remember to take a torch if going in the winter as there are no street lights for part of the way into Bowness centre.

Excellent

Excellent property in an ideal location. Stayed in many rental properties over the years, this one has to be one of if not the highest quality/finished we have stayed in. Fixtures and fittings, attention to detail can not be faulted. Would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful

Richmond house is perfect, everything and more you could want from accommodation, perfect setting, if you don't want to use your car you don't have to, everything is on the door step, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend break, the house has everything you would need and want , thanks very much x

Fabulous House

The house was beautiful and furnished to an exceptional very high standard and it was immaculate. Great location and we were able to walk in Bowness. The housekeeping team and Otto were very helpful when my husband was poorly. Thank you all we thoroughly enjoyed our week, and we are looking to book again next year. We highly recommend this place.

Fabulous House

Just returned from a week at Richmond House, where everything has been renovated to a high specification, which makes it a great holiday home. The kitchen is well equipped with quality brands. All the wardrobes and bedroom fittings have been well thought out. Big walk in shower and large free standing bath. Again all the bathrooms have been fitted and finished to a high standard. The quiet cul de sac location is perfect for walking into Bowness or further if you want to. But staying ‘home’ is a great option with a large, private outdoor area.

Amazing property

This is a wonderful property in a great location. The house which is all on one level is decorated and finished to a very high standard. Very modern and sylish with quality furniture and appliances. The log burner was great, large smart TV, dish washer, oven, washer/dryer all used and came in handy. Great views of the mountains and of lake Windermere from the raised patio at the rear of the property. Space for 2 cars so parking not a problem at all. Would have loved to have sat out on the patio with the outdoor fire but the weather was not too kind. Will be a great space in the summer time. Can't fault the hosts who were very welcoming and kept in touch. Location is great and just a couple of minutes walk into Bowness town centre.

Fabulous House & Location

My Husband, 2 young girls and myself stayed for Christmas week. From the off we had many questions to ask and we were responded to instantly from Rebecca & Phil. They were very helpful and recommended many things for our first away Christmas. The house was amazing it had everything you needed. It was spotless and has top quality furnishings even down to products supplied, like luxury toiletries. Brilliant location for walking out to shops, bars and restaurants. Many amazing walks that were listed in the property. We met the management/ house keeping team on arrival and in the week. Even though we didn't need to contact them as everything was perfect with the house. We will definitely be booking this property again. Thank You Rebecca & Phil for an unforgettable family Christmas you truly have made a perfect holiday let.
