The property is located in the small village of Sodji Vrh in the region of Semič, a 12-minute drive from Izvir Krupe, a nature reserve dedicated to the source of the river Krupa, one of the most beautiful springs in Slovenia. The river originates from a high rock and flows 2.5 km through the canyon to Graz, where it then flows into the Lahinja River. Outdoor enthusiasts will also enjoy the hiking area Gorjanci, a 17-minute drive away.

Other popular excursions include a visit to the medieval town of Brežice (a 55-minute drive), where guests can visit a Renaissance castle with one of the most beautiful Baroque halls in Slovenia. Gradac Castle (a 17-minute drive) is also worth visiting. Located on an island on a picturesque curve of the Lahinja River, the castle is one of the best-preserved medieval fortifications in SE Slovenia.

Those in search of complete relaxation will enjoy the town of Čatež ob Savi (a 50-minute drive), renowned for its thermal springs, which have been used for centuries for their healing properties. The town is home to one of the largest and most popular thermal spa resorts in Europe. There is also a water park here that is especially popular with families and children.
