have your own tropical garden hide away in the heart of Sarasota. quiet and newly-remodeled. Everything is new and well appointed and fully-fitted out for those that like to cook. A lovely garden wraps you in tranquility on the dinning patio. Lots of privacy.

Fantastic location, in The Arts District, minutes from the airport. Just minutes to St. Armands Circles wonderful shopping and restaurants, beaches and downtown, offering great entertainment and restaurant options, several performing theaters, a comedy club, movie theaters. A bay front park is 1 block away, public tennis courts are 4 blocks away. Convenient!

Property is within a 5 minute radious of all Sarasota's cultural amenities, such as The Ringling Museum of Art (world-class art and grounds), The Historic Asolo Theater, and asThe Van Wezel (well-known entertainers frequently performing, downtown area with lots of restaurants, shopping a comedy club live theaters and Shelby Gardens just to list a few.
We are continuing to update the cottage every year. There is a very comfortable deck off the French doors with out door table and chairs for outdoor dinning We installed a high end air conditioning system which is insanely quite and very efficient. and of course new bedding which we do every year.

Everything was in order, very clean studio, great location, close to everything, quiet and safe neighborhood, morning coffee on the deck. Don't forget to bring mosquito repellent to fully enjoy beautiful garden. Owners are very nice and helpful. They are available 24/7.

Cozy cottage for two

This was our first time experience staying in this type of rental that was not a hotel. This lovely, cozy cottage had so many wonderful amenities and personal touches beyond our expectations! The combination of a beautiful outdoor space, comfortable amenities, and personal touches made a huge difference in our overall stay It was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and had a very comfortable bed. Our hosts Lynne and Doug were so nice and accommodating and made our stay so enjoyable. The location to downtown was perfect. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely Cottage in Convenient Location

We stayed two weeks in this lovely cottage and had a great time. The cottage is very comfortable and has numerous amenities to make the stay pleasant and easy. The owners provided plenty of beach gear, lots of fluffy towels and nice soaps, access to a washer and dryer and a fully equipped and outfitted kitchen for preparing meals at home. We also spent a lot of time sitting outside at the table or sunning on the lounge chairs. The garden is very private and surrounded by orchids and other beautiful plants. Lynne and Doug are welcoming and friendly, yet give you plenty of privacy. The location is convenient to downtown and provides easy access to Lido and Siesta Key beaches. We wanted to rent again next year but someone beat us to it! Highly recommend.

Cozy cottage, great hosts

Really nice cottage. It is clean and comfortable with nice decorations and a private garden. The location is very convenient to places in Sarasota. Lynne and Doug are great hosts. From the things they prepared and arranged in the cottage and around, you can tell that they are very considerate of their guests. Communication with them was very easy. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend their cottage to anyone!

Enjoyable Stay in Charming Cottage

The on-site hosts were very welcoming & helpful during our 10 day stay in their cottage which looked like the photos in the listing. Great location in a quiet neighborhood close to the beaches, parks, restauants, shopping, popular sightseeing attractions, etc. Appreciated access to washer & dryer, as well as beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, etc. Will stay here again.

Long Weekend!

Had a great first visit to Sarasota to visit a friend. This apartment was excellent for the two of us. Close to the airport and downtown. Private parking and little cottage apartment. We will definitely stay here again in our next visit.

Perfect Sarasota Getaway

This place was absolutely perfect for a two person getaway. It was a quick 5 minute drive from the airport and about 10 minutes from St. Armandā€™s Circle and beautiful beaches. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, and made for a very welcoming stay. The place was beautiful!

Tranquil Tropical Hideaway

The cottage is truly lovely, and very restful. It is tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely bathroom with shower, a storage closet, a comfortable bed with nightstands and a dresser for storing our clothes, and a cozy living room, with loveseat, two chairs, and an entertainment center with TV. Our hosts thoughtfully provided access to a washer and dryer, and they had beach towels, and chairs, and even frisbees and games to take to the beach. The gardens outside are lovely and there is an outdoor table and chairs where we enjoyed our coffee and breakfast. The cottage feels hidden away because of the tropical foliage and delightful garden. Even though the area had been experiencing a drought, it felt like a little slice of paradise to us. There is so much to explore and do in the Sarasota area. We were only five minutes from the Ringling Museum and estate, about five minutes from downtown where there are lots of good restaurants and interesting shops, and less than ten minutes to the Selby botanical gardens. We spent one evening at Lido Beach to watch the sunset about ten minutes away, and we spent the last afternoon on Siesta Key, which is only about 15 minutes away, although it took us at least that long again to find a parking space. Sunday afternoons seem like prime time for everyone to go to the beach. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the cottage, and we look forward to returning in the future.

My husband and I are Florida natives living in Sarasota. What we love about the area so much is it is close to the water, close to downtown with restaurants, cultural venues and a easy lifestyle. One of my favorite hobbies is fishing in the gulf. I am inspired every time with the water colors and sunsets. We do live on site in a separate house so if you need any assist, we would be more than happy to help.

This is me with a bunch of my friends on the beach at sunset. Sarasota is a lovely community.
