The lodge is in a small hamlet, tucked out of the way but within easy reach of places.
We just wanted some quality P and Q for a few days and we were not disappointed.
We had some fairly good weather too which helped.
The lodge is equipped with everything you need for your stay.
A lovely welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, fresh bread, real butter, marmalade and biscuits prevented us having to go straight out and do some shopping.
The bed is very comfortable, as is the sofa.
The lovely big walk in shower is great, but the white tiles can get a bit slippy - we just put extra towels down to be safe.
Stephen was prompt at popping over to sort a little issue out for us, otherwise we were left I disturbed for our stay.
The garden is a good size and great for our reactive dogs.
We had hired a doggie buggy too for our eldest girl - it was very easy to fold down etc.
