Perfect accommodation for our family with two young children. Pool, Spar and restaurant within 2 minutes walk. Apartment is as described and we loved the outside space especially. A very enjoyable visit and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Short driveUber in Carvoeiro for wider range of options for eating out and activities.

Fantastic villa in a tranquil setting. Terrace is great for relaxing on and the villa had everything we needed and more. The facilities at Quinta do Paraíso were also superb. Kids loved the pools and sitting on the roof terrace at night looking at the stars. Carvoeiro is a beautiful resort. We hope to be back soon.

The place is fantastic for relaxing and reconnecting. You can walk into the village and enjoy a stroll with magnificent views. Very well-kept accommodation. Nothing is missing. I would particularly highlight its cleanliness.

Very nice decorated house with large terrace

The house was clean and very nice decorated. Good beds and good quality kitchen equipment. A very large terrace with even in February sun al day.

Fantastic spot, villa was perfect for us and very convenient to the pool/restraunts etc. the large terrace was brilliant to relax in the evening. Communication was top notch and we had all the info we needed. Thank you for such a great stay for our babies first holiday!

We had a great time in Katharine’s property at Quinta do Paraíso. Katharine was very responsive and was fast to act when we requested a food pack shortly before we arrived. There was plenty of space for our kids (5 and 2 years old) especially on the terrace outside - the hammock was also very comfortable. It was around 30 degrees during our stay and the air conditioning was very welcome. The self catering facilities were great and we ate in a lot. There are a few big supermarkets that are 5-10 min drive away,a Spar within walking distance. There are swimming pools within the complex as well as a nice Italian restaurant that’s well worth going to. One thing to note is that the Kids club was not running this summer which we only found out when we arrived. Overall, it was a great trip and would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here with our 1 year old and would really recommend it. The place had everything you would need and the pool, mini golf, kids area and restaurant are all 2 mins away plus loads of great hikes, beaches and towns just 10 minute drive away. It made for a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Beautiful accommodation with huge outdoor patios. Very peaceful yet all the amenities of Quinta do Paraoiso on your door step. Having the kid's club activities was an extra bonus in which our children really enjoyed. We loved every minute of our time in this gorgeous place and I would highly recommend.

An excellent apartment just outside the centre of Carvoeiro. The facilities at Quinto da Paraiso are great and the pools were amazing. The rooftop bbq was a great success also! We will all miss staying here and were sad to leave.

Fabulous place with great amenities

The unit was perfectly clean, and the amenities are literally a 2 min walk - beautiful swimming pools, with food to order, a shop to buy water etc and cute Italian restaurant that we ate at one night. We sat every morning and night on the rooftop - the photos do not do justice - the rooftop is huge and beautiful to watch the sunset and the moon.

Our stay here was lovely. It was located in a great location, walking distance to everything you need. Local restaurants were very welcoming and amazing food. The villa itself was lovely. The outside area was peaceful and great way to unwind in the beautiful sunshine. The roof top was clean and looks brand new. Having a bbq areapizza oven up there would be brilliant. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We already knew the place. Very quiet, just what we are looking for to rest for a few days with the family. The perfect place, with all the amenities, clean... The hostess has always been on the lookout. the WIFI was cut from time to time, to say something improved... but nothing important.

Really comfortable and well decorated place to stay with a family of 4. Everything was very complete and well equipped (washing/drying/mammock/toys for the beach/a BBQ/beach towels) and access to the swimmingpool as well. At half of the week change of towels. The location is within walking distance to town and the beach, a little supermarket and good restaurant nearby. A car is convenient.

We had a great stay at Katharine's place. The apartment was spacious for the whole family (2 adults and 2 kids). It was super clean and modern. It is situated within a holiday complex with a great pool, a restaurant and a supermarket closeby. The terrace in the apartment is super spacious and we enjoyed having dinners outside., The town centre of Carvoeiro is not too far away. 20mins walkinga quick car ride away. Katharina is a very friendly and responsive host. We had a great time and I can highly recommend it.

Our long term stay

Accomodation was excellent for our needs. Nothing you can do about the weather. The tree on the patio was a nuisance due to the continuing falling leaves. The amount of Black mould that developed was a concern, but again the weather did not help. Lots of dust on wardrobe doors. Outbuilding where washing machine and dryer were was leaking like a sieve. Again not helped by weather.

Thank you for your review and for your kind comments regarding the accommodation. We are very pleased to hear that the property suited your needs. We appreciate your understanding regarding the weather, which unfortunately is beyond anyone’s control. Concerning the tree on the patio, we understand that falling leaves can be inconvenient, particularly during certain seasons. We will review the maintenance schedule to see how we can better manage this. During the storms we experienced in January and February, it was extremely challenging to keep the properties properly ventilated. The persistent humidity unfortunately led to the appearance of some mould, which we fully understand may have caused discomfort. This time of year is not usually like this, and the unusual weather conditions made it particularly difficult to carry out all the necessary maintenance measures to prevent such issues. Regarding the wardrobes, we will review the matter with our housekeeping team to understand what may have occurred and ensure it is properly addressed. We sincerely appreciate your understanding throughout your stay and truly hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again under more pleasant weather conditions.

Lovely place to stay for our 2 week break - close enough to walk into Carvoeiro and plenty of other places to walk to that weren't in the town - including Trattoria Oliveira that was 2 mins walk and very friendly. The boardwalk is lovely and easy to walk along. Lots of nearby places including a few Vineyards worth going to. Ferragudo a short distance and Sagres, Salema and Burgau - you do need a car for these though! Hoopoe bird was a lovely visitor! Accommodation was a good size - especially as was just the 2 of us - large patio area was great - much bigger than you'd normally get in an apartment. All in all I would thoroughly recommend.
