Dear Mrs Gravesen, regarding the location of the villa, we would like to inform you that we checked the advertisement on Home Away and we had the confirmation that the indication about the distance from Cortona is written under the section 'location' subsection 'attractions within 100 km'. If you have a closer look at that part, you'll see that Cortona is located at 13 km from the villa. As we told you, althought the villa is advertised on Home Away, our website is the main source of information as Emma Villas is the property manager. In order to prevent any misunderstanding or misinformation, you may find this sentence at the end of the house description: (We remind that the herein contained information and any possible updates are to be attested by the Property Manager). Most of our properties are located in the countryside and addresses can be hardly recognised by Home Away system. So they tend to spot the nearest town or well-know area in order to let clients understand and have a general idea. If you also look at the dashboard of the property, you'll read that he house is located in Loc. Ferretto, 30. If you look at our website, yo'll see the exact location of the property including coordinates. Although the owner speaks little English, we also provided you with the contact number of the Emma Villas responsible for the house and our offices are open 7/7 so we would have been pleased to assist you but we were only informed about the issue the day before your departure. The rates of this property are high so we are sorry if your experience was not as good.
