Retreat to the scenic shores of Little Pond at this two-bedroom Sanford home, a lakefront property with a lovely deck, and a wonderful location for hiking, snowshoeing, or lounging on nearby ocean beaches.

This cheerful red home sits on 100 feet of lakefront on the eastern banks of Little Pond, offering a private pier for kayakers. Take morning strolls to explore the hiking trails in the 600-acre Fenderson Wildlife Commons, spend an afternoon or two antiquing in downtown Wells nine miles east, or take an 11-mile drive to sunbathe and swim in the ocean at Ogunquit Beach, Crescent Beach, or Footbridge Beach.

An ideal escape for summer vacationers or fall foliage enthusiasts, this home offers casual comfort with views of the lake and forest. Begin each morning with homemade pancakes in the full kitchen (with a dishwasher) and six-person dining space, use the free WiFi to check the day's weather report.

Spend the day paddling Little Pond in your kayak and retreating to the deck to read, play board games, or share an al fresco lunch. Watch a spectacular sunset over the lake before moving indoors to enjoy the TV and DVD player. (Please note that the two floors of this home are connected by a narrow spiral staircase, but that baby gates are provided for your peace of mind.)

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
The dock is seasonal and available from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The fireplaces are not operational.

Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
