Private Cliff Location; 7 min walk to Beach; Enchanting deck and Enclosed Yard

Ideal Nantucket home for couples or an extended family. Very private renovated house with carriage house. Main house sleeps six, 2.5 baths. Carriage house has separate studio with bath (Sleeps one) and one-bedroom private apartment with kitchen, living room and bath (Sleeps two). Perfect for additional couple or in-laws. This is a 5 bedroom 4.5 bath rental sleeping 9.

Private enclosed backyard, ideal for children. Outstanding location just off Cliff Road; 7-minute walk to beach, 15-minute walk to town. Close to the Westmoor Club, bicycle paths, Something Natural, Steps and Washing Pond Beaches. Main house has been recently upgraded to include Central Air and Heat throughout. Carriage house has central air and heat.

Surrounding Area: Our house is located on a charming rural country road (unpaved) at the edge of town, but an easy walk to beaches and a 15/20-minute walk to town center. We overlook a wetlands conservation area, the Westmoor Club beyond, and are just far enough off of Cliff Road so there is minimal traffic noise, yet easy access. We have mature landscaping, so in season the house cannot be seen from the road. Both the front and rear yards are exceptionally private - the rear yard is enclosed and has two gated entrances, so it is perfect for young children (we have two). We are also quite near the Cliff Road bicycle path, so that is always an enjoyable activity and a good way to see more of the island - especially the bayside beaches (Steps, Washing Pond, etc)

Restaurants: We are within a 5 to 15-minute drive of all the resort restaurants, but given the privacy and setting of the house, we find both ourselves and guests frequently dining and relaxing on the rear deck with a barbecue, or a more formal meal if desired. We have a restaurant pedigree DCS oven suitable for all professional cooking purposes, and a Weber gas grill for great fish and meats.

Please note that bookings are for Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise pre-agreed.

Summer vacation

Another great stay

This was our second time staying at Ron's home and it was just as lovely as last year. It is a lovely place to regroup after beach time, share a home-cooked meal, or just relax while the kids play. Looking forward to our next stay.

This was our second stay at this house. As previously, it is excellent. It is well-located, well-furnished, and well-equipped. Everything worked. The one-bedroom apartment above the garage is particularly charming and comfortable. The yard is beautifully landscaped; there was plenty of room for our family's annual badminton tournament. All-in-all, this is a terrific house and, as the ad notes, a very good value for Nantucket.

Fantastic house

We have been to Nantucket many times, and this house is our favorite so far. Great front and back yards for a toddler to play in and adults to sit in. Comfortable furniture indoors. Every room is tastefully furnished. Good proximity to sound-side beaches as well as to town. The owner could not have been more responsive.

Classic Nantucket house with antique decor

Our family had a great week at 37 Pilgrim! House is a short bike ride to town and/or car ride to Steps/Jetties beach. Just remember to bring toys/yard games if you have young children. The owner was always very polite and responsive with questions prior to arrival.

Charming Nantucket Home in Excellent Location!

This was our third year in beautiful, charming 37 Pilgrim Rd. The house and garden are perfectly appointed -- with lovely bedrooms, great living space, and amazing location right off Cliff Road about a 5 min drive to town and a 15 minute walk. Our family has loved this house which is very much a home. I could not rate it higher than I have - and hope to return for summers to come!

Ideal home and location

37 Pilgrim has been our home when we visit Nantucket for the past 6 years. Perfect location, minutes to town and private back yard and deck. Truly ideal! The owners are wonderful to work with. Thank you again for another great year! See you in 2024!

Perfect place for extended family!

We just spent an amazing week here and found it to be an ideal place for our multi-generational family. The house and carriage house studio gave us the perfect amount of room for 2 families with teenagers, and my Mother loved having her own carriage house apartment. Everything was clean and as pictured when we arrived. Although, I would say the online pictures don’t do justice to how cute and well decorated the house is. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and a great grill and beautiful backyard for cooking at home and enjoying the outdoors. There were also lots of beach chairs and towels that were appreciated on our beach days. The house is in a great location that is nice and private and quiet, but very convenient for walking to Steps beach or the Wave stop. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and hope to be able to come back again soon!

37 Pilgrim is truly a gem! It has become our home away from home. Perfect location, very clean, enchanting backyard! Owner extremely gracious and a pleasure to work with. Sad to leave but we will be back!

Beautiful Home near Beautiful Beach

We loved our stay at Ron's home. Weather was not ideal for our stay so we ended up spending a lot of time at the house - and there was plenty of room for everyone. The bedrooms are generously sized with good storage and there is great seating downstairs for conversation and for meals. Beautiful light, nice to have AC for the 99% humidity days, and great location. You can tell that Ron puts a lot of thought and care into maintaining his home, and we really luxuriated in the benefits of that effort! We hope to stay again next year. 2 points I would highlight for those traveling with a small pet or children: (1) the backyard is enclosed by hedges, not a fence, so dogs and determined children can easily pass through - that said, the hedges provide lovely privacy and we enjoyed our time in the back yard greatly; (2) the walk to town and the beach is not completely on sidewalks - there are some stretches where we had to walk along the side of the road in the grass, which can be challenging if you're pushing a stroller.

We have stayed here several times and our enjoyment increases every year. The property is well maintained and the home's indoor and outdoor spaces are very appealing for families. Perfect trip to ACK!

We loved this house! Fantastic location where we walked into town as well as iconic Steps Beach on a daily basis. The house itself is private, decorated meticulously, and cozy. We felt like we were staying at a friends home instead of a rental. Hope to stay here again!

Perfect Nantucket Home and Fabulous Location!

I was drawn to the listing first because of the excellent location off of Cliff Road within walking to distance to town/beach, and then was impressed with the great photos that showed a charming Nantucket home. The photos don't capture, though, the truly beautiful property it sits on - with a lush green garden in front and in back, and a light filled wonderful house. The bedrooms were all a good size - with really pretty interior design. The house off of Cliff Road provides a great deal of privacy - and all the amenities were great. I loved everything about this home and will absolutely come back to it. Also, the owner could not have been more responsive and helpful before and during our stay. My entire family just loved it!

Perfect first visit to Nantucket

We enjoyed every minute on Pilgrim Road. The location is perfect for walking to beaches and into town. The house is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. When we return next year this home will again be our first choice!

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

I have known Nantucket since my college days when I worked as a waiter at The Club Car. It's always been a special place, and I wanted my young daughters to enjoy the same experiences I have had there. The house appealed because of its flexibility (the property can handle a large family or just a couple), has a private, rural feel, but is also very close to town. I travel too much to get here often, so I like to relax once I've arrived and not worry about driving miles to town. The bicycle path on Cliff has been a great treat for my children and an unexpected location bonus. So too is the Westmoor Club - located within walking distance, where we were early members.

The property has mature plantings so during the summer it is difficult to see any neighbor from the house. That makes dinner on the back deck even more special. The outdoor shower gets a lot of use, too, on those many great beach days.

The property is close to town and a hidden beach (Town center - a few minutes by car, or a 15/20 minute walk; Hinkley Beach - 5 minutes on a bike, or an 8-minute walk at the end of Hinkley Road), yet the property is very private, with mature landscaping on a rural road. Privacy and proximity. Westmoor Club a short walk away.
