This extraordinary home with a panoramic view from Petit Jean Mountain will take your breath away! This north brow home with stunning views of the Arkansas River and valleys below can be yours for a week or weekend. It's a one-of-a kind home featuring vaulted ceilings and 2 separate living areas with the Sun Porch being temperature controlled, feels like being outside from the comfort of home. Enjoy relaxing scenes of the sunrise and wildlife from your 1000 foot view no matter the season or weather. Located on 1 1/2 acres and only minutes from Arkansas's premier Petit Jean State Park, the Museum of Automobiles, the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute, waterfalls and an airport. Relax in the Jacuzzi bath for two while gazing at the spectacular view from the master bath.

The house sleeps 10 comfortably and has everything you need. Master bedroom has 1 King bed with a whirlpool tub in the master bath; 2 bedrooms with Queen sized beds; 1 Queen sleeper sofa in the Great Room and a Queen sleeper sofa in the sun room.

Rental also includes microwave, dishwasher, toaster, crock pot, Jen -Air Range and plenty of pots, pans and cookware for preparing your favorite meals at home. Dish television and DVD player, available as well as free access to fiber internet . Lots of books to read, some movies and games available for time spent inside.

Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 10am.

It was a very nice house with spectacular views. Very clean. Very close to Pettit Jean State Park. The host was extremely helpful. They even refilled the Hummingbird feeders so we could set in the sun room and watch them.

Weā€™ve stayed on the mountain at Petite Jean many times in the past but wanted to try out a new place. Found this house on VRBO and decided to give it a try.We loved it!The sunroom with its huge views over the river and valley was our favorite part. We saw half a dozen Bald Eagles in one day! The kitchen was stocked and easy to work in. The master bed was comfortable. The house was roomy and easy to find. This isnā€™t a new build so there are some slightly worn areas on and in the house just like any home that has been lived in. The house is located near the Petite Jean State Park with tons of hiking and other outdoor excitement! The host was quick to respond to questions and very pleasant. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we will be back!

In 2017 we purchased the Edge House from the Edgertons and we wanted to continue sharing the remarkable experiences of Petit Jean Mountain from the beautiful Edge House with other families.

With the open design of the home, the view of the Arkansas River and Valley washes in surrounding your time spent inside. You can take in this unforgettable view and all its changes from day into night and season to season, from the climate controlled comfort of the sun room all while enjoying a cup of hot coffee! Then, venture outside for the many viewing and hiking opportunities that await you there.

Being an Arkansas resident we love to spend time hiking the trails and exploring Petit Jean Mountain State Park, dining at Mather Lodge and I love to photograph the stunning views all around the park.

The hike to Cedar Falls is one of my favorites. At the end of the trail you can sit close enough to be cooled by the mist of the falls before starting your hike out or you can make your way under the falls and get a far different perspective. Seasonal changes offers a varied viewing opportunity on the Cedar Falls trail, colors change, plant and flowers are different, water levels change. Every season has its own beauty.

Loving the outdoors like we do, it is easy to get away from everything and enjoy the beauty that abounds in and around the Edge House.

The house is beautiful and comfortable on the inside. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cooking essentials and all necessary serving items, so that you may enjoy meals in if you decide. There is a gas grill for cooking out and enjoying nature. A fire pit is also available to enjoy on cool nights sitting by fireside. Wifi is available, Direct TV, reading material, and some games if you like cards or board games.

We will work hard to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable and help you to enjoy the legandary beauty surrounding the Edge House, high atop Petit Jean Mountain.

The original builders thought of everything in the design of this home - like being able to see the view through the entire house, from the entrance to the sunroom. With windows on all sides of the sunroom, you can truly relax and renew 365 days a year in this gorgeous space. It is meant to be comfortable and private whether for your family, a girls getaway, a sweetheart weekend or honeymoon, this is the home for you.

The million dollar view can be seen from most any room in the house - even while you enjoy your Jacuzzi bath for two. The wood stove also makes it nice and warm inside while you watch the snow falling. We love being able to climb out on our large boulders in the back and have some quiet moments in nature.
