This charming apartment is located on the first floor of the prestigious 17th-century Personè Palace, right in the heart of Lecce’s historic center. It has been completely renovated and is elegant, refined, and extremely comfortable, available year-round.
The space
The location is truly exceptional—we are in the heart of the most authentic Lecce and its Baroque architecture, just a few dozen meters from the Church of Santa Croce and Piazza Sant’Oronzo, which can be seen from the wonderful terrace.
The apartment is accessed through a private entrance door off the very central Via Umberto I. At the top of the stairs, the landing leads to the first room, which serves as an entryway; from there, a small staircase leads up to a loft with a charming little extra bedroom.
In this entryway, an antique fireplace takes center stage; to the left is an utility room, and straight ahead is the dining area with a spacious kitchenette equipped with a dishwasher.
In the living room, two comfortable armchairs, along with the sofa, form a cozy conversation and TV corner.
The bedroom is absolutely charming with its period furniture and a private bathroom, complete with all fixtures and a shower stall.
The second guest bathroom is accessible from the kitchen.
The terrace is enchanting! Antique stone basins and large pots are filled with flowers and climbing plants; a large gazebo equipped with a table and chairs also allows you to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner outdoors.
All the major events take place nearby, and on festive evenings, you can comfortably sit on the terrace and enjoy concerts and shows while the vibrant energy of Salento unfolds right outside your door.
