EVERYTHING..... has been updated in this Highpoint Rocky Mountain Condo with High-End finishes.
The VIEWS are just breathtaking! To the west out the spacious master suite, is one of the most exquisite views all around. To the east, the private covered deck looks out over the 300-foot Hermosa Cliffs onto the The Glacier Club Valley Golf Course and the San Juan National Forest beyond making this unit unique and one of the nicest in the community.

Two bedrooms are located upstairs.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with quality linens, full on suite with tub/shower, spacious closet, 32" smart TV, and full size washer and dryer, mini fridge and breathtaking views to the west.
The second bedroom is a private queen size bed with quality lines, on suite with shower, spacious closet and dresser.
Another full bathroom with a shower is located on the first floor for guests utilizing the double memory foam sleeper sofa with panoramic mountain views and built-in gas remote fireplace.
A pack and play and toys are also provided for the unit for those traveling with children.
The kitchen is fully equipped with gas range and stove, spacious refrigerator and freezer, and stocked to be able to fully utilize the kitchen for meals if desired.
The unit is air conditioned. Beautiful "real" wood flooring and designer light fixtures.
You will not be disappointed when you come to stay at this spectacular home.

4 wheel drive is strongly recommended for winter stays.

Enjoy the convenience of the Basecamp Restaurant located in the Main Lodge and The Mineshaft in the brand new Valley Clubhouse - just a short walk away.
A short drive to Purgatory Ski Resort and closet in the unit for ski storage if needed.

Tamarron is located between Historic downtown Durango and Purgatory Ski Resort with easy access off HWY 550.

Enjoy the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Train departing from downtown Durango - a must for this trip!

In August 2018, Tamarron replaced the old pool w/2 new pools (one indoor, one outdoor), a hot tub, and a new 4000 sqft fitness center. These new amenities were completed in August 2018. The new Valley Club House is also open and has an excellent restaurant, pro shop and banquet facility. Golf is available to all guests with payment of green fees.

Van and Julie communicated great. Very easy check in. The condo is beautiful and the views all around are just incredible. The condo has everything you need for a great stay. The proximity to both downtown Durango and Purgatory Ski Mountain is what made this the perfect location for what we wanted to do over the holidays. Thank you!

Pre-Christmas Vacation

Check in was a breeze. Condo was clean and plenty of space for our family of 6. Two kids shared the pullout couch downstairs which was very comfortable. The only issue we had was we couldn’t find sheets for the pullout (only a twin sheet set which we found in the upstairs master closet along with pillows and a quilt) but we made do by using extra blankets from the upstairs rooms. Also, the weren’t any dry towels in the master…they were still in the washing machine damp so I ran a quick wash cycle and threw them in the dryer, no big deal. Kitchen is well stocked, very nice appliances, nice big dining room table that we used nightly including for a Gingerbread House contest one night. Views are beautiful and quite private. Both my husband and I needed to work a little bit here and there. Wifi was good and his zoom call was no problem even with all the kids downstairs! We made use of the gym almost everyday and the kids swam in the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. We spent time at Purgatory snowboarding and in Durango shopping and dining out. Very short easy drive to both locations. You will not be disappointed in this beautiful condo nor the location.

Family Vacation

We had the best time on our first family vacation! Van and Julie take incredible care of the condo. It’s super clean and organized and they were quick to respond back to any questions we had! The view from the balcony is incredible. They had everything that we needed and MORE! This was the perfect place to relax, explore, and make new memories!

Spring Break

Great experience with renting this property at Tamarron. Owners were great checking in with us during the stay, the property is well maintained and clean and a great location only a short drive to Purgatory.

Amazing winter getaway

Lovely condo, perfect for our family of 4. Very spacious and well equipped! So many windows & picturesque views! A short drive to Purgatory for skiing. Julie was very responsive with some minor issues. We ate dinner at the country club on property and it was delicious. We also enjoyed the hot springs. So relaxing after a day of skiing. 4 wheel drive in the winter months, very helpful for the steep climb to the condo. We would definitely return!

Fore the Views!!!

We have stayed in Tamarron multiple times and we will only stay in properties in High Point with an East facing view! This condo does not disappoint in that regard! Owners are very responsive to needs once they were notified.

Not a good experience

Check in was awful. We paid in full but since overlooked the contract signature we were not on the list to be checked in. The place was not cleaned for us after 2 hours of trying to check in and the front desk finally getting a hold of the owners. The unit was cleaned the next day and still a mediocre job at best. Pool was closed first two days because of no sufficient staffing. Restaurants on site closed on some of the weekdays-ridiculous. No grill to grill on back deck, had to use a store bought grill. One good/positive thing was the golf course was nice. Otherwise, not worth it-find another place to stay.

Wonderful Condo in an Amazing Setting!

We couldn't have been happier with our experience at Fore the Views. The condo was full of amenities and was a great place for our group of four to relax between outings. The setting was beautiful and we spent many hours enjoying time out on the balcony. Lots of great hiking nearby, and lots to do in nearby Durango. We will definitely be back!

Excellent stay in Durango! (Tamarron / Glacier)

The property was excellent! Wonderful size for our family of 4 with amazing views, clubhouse amenities, and location. Owner was very responsive when we first arrived with a couple of basic questions. No issues at all during the stay and we enjoyed easy access to Durango, Purgatory, and Silverton during the week for many activities. Next summer we will definitely look to come back!

Gorgeous property, amazing hosts

Our family of 5 had the best time at this property and community. Great onsite facilities, very friendly neighbors and a picturesque balcony view that we will remember for a lifetime. The hosts were incredible and thoughtful, and the place had something to offer for all age groups, even our baby. If we are ever back in this part of CO, we will plan to stay at this property again.

Beautiful townhome with amazing views!

Well maintained townhome with amazing views. Kitchen was well stocked and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect location between Durango and Purgatory ski resort. And the back balcony was so quiet. Would definitely rent this property again.

Came for the pun, stayed for the property

My wife and I stayed here for a few days, and we loved it! Quiet, comfortable, beautiful, well organized, and pretty much perfect for our needs! (Perhaps a little big for just the two of us, but that's a good "problem" to have!) The place was very clean, and we felt comfortable staying there, even during COVID-19.

As Good as Advertised

The location was perfect for our small group. It was a ten minute drive to Purgatory and 15 minutes to downtown Durango. We had never been to the area before, and we really liked the Durango area and we will be returning. Purgatory is now one of my favorite ski mountains. i love low key resorts that have great terrain like Loveland, Kirkwood and Eldora, and Purgatory may be the best. The condo was super comfortable and the views are as advertised. We were amazed at the different appearance of the ridge to the east based on weather and light conditions, and although we are not "birders" it was fascinating to see the wide variety of the birds roosting just off the balcony. Nice touch to have a Colorado Birds book handy by the sliders. Great rental.

A wonderful stay

The property was very clean and luxurious. Loved the carpets, bedding, pretty much everything we needed! The only suggestion is to label the AC/Heat thermostats. When you arrive late and its cold inside, you don't take the time to read the manual, so please put a label over each of the controls whether it's heat or air only. Lovely property and great owners!

Fore the Views is Right!

Spent a week here during the fall, amazing views from balcony of fall colors at well appointed home. Really enjoyed the location close to everything, but not right in town.

Breathtaking views!

What a wonderful place! Spectacular views, great area for getting outdoors and enjoying the perfect Colorado weather. This place was immaculate, cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We definitely want to come back!
