Tamarron Treasure at Tamarron Resort (Lodge #502) features 3 bedrooms, 2-full baths, and a full kitchen. It’s one of the largest units in the Lodge and is convenient to the heated pool, hot tub, and fitness center. 10 min to Ski, 20 min to downtown Durango. Wifi speeds are 100+ mbps. Our Tamarron rental guests can play Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course at an exclusive discounted rate. Details will be provided in your rental instructions.

A unique, one-of-a-kind luxury Colorado vacation rental property located in the main lodge at Tamarron Resort. This is one of the largest condos in the Lodge at 1250 sq ft. This unit boasts a master with a king-sized bed on the main floor and two additional sleeping areas in the loft up the spiral staircase, each with a queen bed. The living room has a full-size futon and the master has an additional twin sized sofa bed. The unit comfortably sleeps 7. Well stocked kitchen, amazing views, spacious living area, and washer / dryer in the unit.

* 1st Bedroom - King Bed (Main Level) with additional twin sofa bed
* 2nd Bedroom - Queen Bed (Second Level)
* 3rd Bedroom - Queen Bed (Second Level)
* Living Room - Full sized futon (Main Level)

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

No smoking / vaping of any kind is allowed
Trailers are discouraged as there is very limited, designated space to park trailers - if you plan to bring one, please inquire first.
AWD or 4WD is recommended in Winter (Dec-Mar).

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding, etc) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, etc) activities.

I have stayed at many VRBOs, and I get very frustrated when I have to log in to other aps or look for text messages. This one was very confusing, with texts, emails and other aps needed. It was very unclear where we needed to go, and the front desk staff was very unhelpful. While technically the listing was accurate, saying there are 3 bedrooms is a stretch. The bedroom downstairs had a King bed, but that was also where the very small pullout bed is. This room had a barn door with no locking mechanism, but did have AC. Two of the kids slept there. My husband and I stayed upstairs because it was the only room with a bit of privacy, but did not have a locking door, only a small bifold door. It was so hot upstairs and lugging water upstairs to fill the swamp cooler was not fun. The other "room" was a loft with no privacy and also very hot.The kitchen was fine and had some necessities, but we didn't spend much time there. I think this space would be fine if you go in the winter, but no ideal for an August stay. Also not a lot of privacy if traveling with couples.

Great for kids!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our third time here and just as good as it gets. Beautiful view from the 5 th floor over looking the golf course. Unit was clean and stocked with everything we needed to cook, wash clothes, watch tv, and sleep in a comfortable bed. aminites are first class, pool, hot tub and fitness center. We consider this a home base that allows us to enjoy the Durango Train, River Rafting, Jeeping the Alpine loop, Mesa Verde, Silverton, Ouray(million dollar highway). Enjoyed James Ranch ,Honeyville and Bar D Chuckwagon dinner and show.

Overall, the place is great. Beautiful views, comfortable beds. Mgmt needs to get some repairs done...in the kitchen and master bedroom, only one plug in each socket worked. The toaster needs to be replaced. EEverything

Great location and well stocked condo

We loved staying here. The upstairs bedrooms were perfect for the kids. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Always love staying at this resort.

Stay near purgatory

Great condo, close to purgatory. Cool design elements of property. Loved the access to indoor/outdoor pools. Easy check in/check out process. Only downside was that noise carries a little bit throughout condo. Overall a great stay! Would book it again!

Durango stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall satisfied with the stay. Beautiful area and nice condo. A few things could be fixed to make it more enjoyable. 2nd bathroom by the kitchen had really low water pressure, bathroom fan didn’t work, and handle to turn on the shower was incredibly hard to turn off and on. Coffee makers weren’t clean inside either. Had to go by cleaner to clean and descale one of them so we could make coffee the rest of our stay. There were wet towels in the washer when we arrived also. Glad I happened to check it the next day after we arrived. Also, the sliding door to the master bedroom needs repaired . It has a loose screw at the bottom. At one point my son closed it while in the bedroom, and the door locked him in due to the screw in the bottom fixture coming loose and jamming the door. Only other thing I could add is that it might be nice to have the place a little cooler when people arrive in the summer. The ac was off and the windows were open when we arrived. It made the upstairs read at 89 degrees. Even though we turned on the ac’s and fans, it was still really hot up there and didn’t get much cooler till the next day. Kids sleeping upstairs were really hot.

3-day stay

Second shower needs a mat, very slippery; sliding door to shower was off its track—I fixed it but it wasn’t easy. AC doesn’t really reach the upstairs; master bed is nice but too close to the wall for access. No clue how to work the main TV with 3-4 remotes. The check in lady at the desk was very rude upon arrival—ridiculously so. Check out lady was very nice.

Couldn't check in

We arrived at the property at 10:30 pm to find no reservation existed in our name. Since the people at the front desk work for Tamarron, not Durango Colorado Vacations, showing them our reservation didn't help. DCV's site said someone would check voice/email once or twice a night so when I couldn't get through to anyone, and after I left a voicemail and email for them, I started looking for somewhere else to spend the night. They did contact the property after 30 minutes or so, but they never reached out to us to straighten things out or to apologize for the inconvenience and stress of not knowing whether we would be able to get into the rental or not. No contact. We were surprised and disappointed at the low level of customer care since this mistake was 100% on their end. The rental itself is in a nice location, lovely views, nice mattresses. But the shower heads are terrible and have been poorly rigged into place and the rugs, especially in the main bedroom, were quite dirty. We would not rent from them again.

User unfriendly and overpriced.

Pros: beautiful view, good location. Cons: everything functional was frustrating/difficult; WAY overpriced. - Kitchen has "cocktail sized" sinks so larger pots are really difficult to wash. Makes cooking much less enjoyable. Also poorly stocked, lacking basics like olive oil. - Showers are laughable in how difficult they are to operate. One shower has a knob which is so difficult (and painful on the hand) to twist that we had to use a towel to twist it on. Our kids needed help turn it on/off. The other shower head is jimmy-rigged, hung via a strip of metal which points the head toward the shower curtain and is not adjustable. So when you shower you are jammed up against the shower curtain - took the pleasure out of showers. - Stairs are dangerous, with easy access to a full-flight fall off the side; can't be up to code. Our 7 year old vocalized that danger unprompted. - The silverware drawer in the kitchen is hidden. Took us frustrating minutes to find it while our first dinner was getting cold. - Living room couch is so cheap/uncomfortable - the middle will hurt you when you sit down. - Check-in required signing a separate contract from VRBO, which we didn't realize until we were driving up with poor cell reception. - Everything electric was unplugged when we arrived. Having to move furniture to plug in dozens of lamps and appliances was a really annoying way to start our trip. - Listing said there was a shuttle to ski area. Turns out that's not true any longer.

Amazing Stay at Tamarron Treasure

Girls Trip was great. Beautiful views, card game on the resort balcony, pickleball, hot tub and pools and dinner from the on grounds cafe. Everything was perfect. Many good memories were made.

Beautiful property and setting. Enjoyed walking on the property, pickle ball and the hot tub. Unit was great with awesome views. Had a blast in the town of Durango. Some many activities. Will definitely be coming back with family and friends.

A beautiful location with amazing views

This condo was stocked amazingly and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the amenities on site were fantastic. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future!!

Awesome Resort Just Outside Of Durango

Tamarron Treasure 2 is a first class condo with all the comforts of home. The beds are great and stocked with all the necessary supplies. View over the golf course is picturesque. The facilities are also top notch with pools, hot tub, suana and state of the art fitness facilities. The location is perfect. Just outside of Durango if you want to head to town for dinner. Great shopping and food. Your are also 10 minutes away from Purgatory where you can ski or snowmobile. Highly recommend this condo.

Enjoyed our vacation in Durango in August 2022. The condo we stayed in at Tamarron Treasure 2 was in a great location. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. The view from our room was magnificent, overlooking the golf course. We highly recommend this location.

Beautiful Views - 5 Stars

If you are looking for great views you have picked the right spot. From the living room and the main level bedroom you will enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and glacier valley golf course. The condo was perfect for our family providing good sleeping arrangements, space, and on site amenities. Our kids enjoyed the swimming pool and park while the adults enjoyed the golf course and on site restaurant. The management company was informative and the owners left some special touches around the condo like cards with their favorite things to do. I can't wait to go back soon!
