On a wide, white-sand beach overlooking the spectacular aqua-colored waters of Cowpet Bay, this luxurious condominium is located just minutes from Red Hook for shopping or dining, or the ferry to St. John or Tortola.

Relax in this centrally air-conditioned, two-bedroom, two-bath condominium complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, living/dining room, washer/dryer, ceiling fans, two TVs. All linens and beach towels are provided. Wi-fi is available.

Each bedroom has a king-sized bed. Situated right above the water, you will enjoy breathtaking ocean views from the large, private deck adjoining the oceanside bedroom and living room. An additional queen-sized sleeper-sofa allows for a total of six guests. Perfect for two couples or families.

Wander the beautifully landscaped grounds. Swim in the crystal-clear blue waters. Lounge chairs are provided on the beach, and sailboat, kayak, windsurfer, snorkel, and waterbike rentals are available, along with a beach bar, and beach shop at the next-door Elysian Resort. Enjoy fabulous food and drink at one of the two beachside restaurants and bars on the grounds.

This home is just moments away from casual and elegant restaurants, including one of the island's most luxurious at the Ritz Carlton, and nightlife in Red Hook. A short drive to popular beaches such as Coki Beach and Magens Bay.

It is always wonderful to be in St. Thomas. This property was well appointed, the beds were comfortable and the pullout couch was fine for my kids. The kitchen was good and it felt like someone who actually lived there had set the space up as things were very usable. The beach toys and chairs were wonderful. The property is a little older than some other ones, but overall a great place to stay.

Perfect home base

This property was perfect for our family of five. It is a very suitable location to access all of St Thomas’s beaches and activities and the ferry to St John. The pool and private beach were great places to spend the “down time.” The unit itself was clean, well stocked with the necessities, quiet, and featured a nice balcony to overlook the cove. Overall, a very pleasant stay for the value. Glad we stayed here and not at a more costly resort. Would recommend this property to family and friends.

Beautiful property

Lovely remodeled property overlooking beautiful Cowpet Bay. Walter was very accommodating. Beach is nearby just below the condo but keep in mind that if you have trouble walking, it will be a hike down and back up several stairs and inclines. We got our exercise for the week. The two separate bedroom and bathrooms were very private and served our purpose well. It did get warm in our condo later on in the week at night time and could only put the air at 80 to avoid it freezing up, so visiting during a cooler time would be best if you are one who likes the temp. cool. The first night was pleasant but then got warmer as the week wore on. We did lose internet connection after three days, but that was getting remedied on our last day. We had to use nearby wifi from some traveling companions. Overall, it was a nice property other than the warmer indoor temp. Thank you, Wally!

We loved our stay! The condo was great and had the most amazing view! Wally, the condo owner, was very nice, quickly answered our questions and gave us all the information we needed to have a wonderful relaxing vacation!

Pleasant Christmas week

Our family of 5 had a lovely time at Wally’s condo during Christmas 2024. The unit was exactly as described and very clean upon arrival. Marcella left us a nice welcome of flowers and a bottle of rum. We didn’t have a parking tag and the office was closed for Christmas but it wasn’t an issue at all, as the guards were familiar with us by the second day.Cowpet Bay West is a bit older but the rental was comfy and well stocked. We appreciated having the use of water toys and snorkels.Wally checked in on us, and left updates when there was a temporary water issue at the complex (but we didn’t have any problems). I enjoyed chatting with him on the phone.The breeze during the day was really nice with the windows open but the nights got a bit warm as we were instructed to keep the AC on a high temp. Other than that everything else was great.Thanks to Wally and Julie for sharing their island home with us!

Awesome location

The unit was extremely clean and maintained. Location was far from the airport (35mins) short cab to restaurant, bars and ferry to St. John’s ((10min) A 4-5 min walk to a beautiful beach and pool(DNU) also dining options (2) right off the beach. It was wonderfully quiet. Shower- be real it’s an island you won’t take a HOT shower but was fineTons of towels and linen- furniture and beds were very clean and comfortable Unfortunately, no coastal breeze to cool down the unit but AC was fine. Host has everything you need for a day at the beach and snorkeling. (Clean the gear before you use)Washer and dryer on site- great to keep up with towel use!Balcony is great. You get the sunrise!!Owner was communicative- but through phone calls and a few emails. No texting which was odd but he gave a lot of good information- so spend the time and give him a call.

Great location and responsive host

We loved the location of this condo in walking distance to a beach, restaurant, and pool. The condo was comfortable and also in a safe community on the island. It was easy to get to where we needed to go and our host was super responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Stay!

Great stay at a great property! Highly recommend this condo. Everything from initial booking, communication with owner to check out is easy and timely. The owner Wally is very responsive and provides detailed information on the property and surrounding area that really helps to add to the enjoyment of visiting the East End of St Thomas. Condo included a bunch of beach chairs, toys, towels and snorkel gear to help enjoy the beach. Our family will be visiting again! Solid 5 stars!

Beautiful Condo and Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Cowpet Bay West Condo. It was spacious, well appointed and had incredible views. The host was gracious and readily available to answer all of our questions. I would definitely stay here with my family again.

Great location

We were split with groups at Elysian and Ritz—all three are right next to each other making it super convenient to meet up each day for different activities. Short easy drive to red hook/sapphire were we had charter’s or took ferry. If you don’t have car the unit is a nice level walk to road to catch taxi services that go by often.

Perfect location and stay!

We LOVED this property! I had stayed in the Cowpet Bay area almost 20 years ago and wondered what it would be like so many years later. It did not disappoint! The condo had everything we needed! The snorkel equipment, beach towels/chairs were life savers! The views from the deck are stunning and so peaceful. We felt this was the perfect place to relax in combination with going out and exploring during the day! I'd highly recommend this condo to family & friends! Walter is an absolute gem and called before our trip and the first morning of our stay to make sure everything with smoothly. We appreciated this so much!

Beautifull views

Stepping through the door, you are welcomed with the view of the bay, updated kitchen and tranquil surroundings. Red Hook is less than five minutes away, for dining, shopping, and ferries. Planning our next booking already.

Most Wonderful Condo!

I don’t really know where to start. The condo is beautiful, the view is beautiful, Walter is a wonderful host! We were 3 ladies doing a small bachelorette trip and this location was perfect. We were able to check in and walk straight down to the beach and then head to dinner at the Caribbean fish market(delicious). We never had a problem getting a taxi from there and ended up with so many drivers’ numbers that it was super easy. The condo is as pictured however much prettier in person. We cannot wait to go back!

Welcoming the new year!

What a great way to ring in the New Year! It was totally relaxing to enjoy the view from the condo and to be conveniently situated near Red Hook with the ferry and great restaurants nearby. Although it didn't bother us, this property is best enjoyed by physically fit guests as there are many stairs down to the beach and pool. The host was very organized and communicated a great deal of information to assist in our enjoyment of our vacation. Thank you, Wally!

Lovely property; helpful host

The apartment was nice and spacious for 4 adults. Well stocked kitchen appliances and beach gear. The grounds are beautiful with a lovely beach and gorgeous pool and hot tub. No fitness center. The host, Wally, was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. To note - while there is AIr conditioning, it only goes down to 81 degrees and it was HOT in the apt, especially to sleep in the guest bedroom which doesn’t have a window that opens. Also, while the apt is well positioned, these islands are hilly and stairs are everywhere - it’s 100 steps to the beach (I counted!). But there is a place to drive and park near the beach and pool. We looooved sitting on the balcony in the afternoon with the gorgeous views. Didn’t want to leave! Thanks, Wally, for a lovely stay!

Island Vacation

Generally the experience was positive. The only not so positive experience was that the sliding screen doors out to the deck kept getting stuck and off the track. Not a big deal, but still annoying.

We have been visiting the Caribbean for many years, and finally decided that we would like to own a piece of paradise! We looked at buying on different islands, but kept coming back to St. Thomas, due to its convenient location, wonderful amenities, and the fact that it is a U.S. territory. We have never regretted that decision!

We chose Cowpet Bay West after looking at many different condo complexes. We felt that it was the best built and very well maintained property, and also loved the location in relation to Red Hook. We also liked that it was situated on a quiet beach that is not frequented by the cruise ship passengers.
