The Windchimer Luxury Log Cabin with panoramic mountain view ..

Jared, Thank you for choosing The Windchimer for your Smoky Mountain vacation. The cabin you stayed in is 4400 square feet with standard showers and bath tubs. How are they not accessible? That makes no sense to me. This cabin is not listed a ADA compliant just wheelchair friendly. This cabin has 6 TV's and a theater. We have elected to have select TV's with cable boxes and Tv's with streaming services. There are options for everyone. Although the blinds may not be what you are use to, they work as they should. You used them during your 7 night stay. There is no ice maker to be working. The AC was not able to keep up the the upper 90 degree weather one evening due to the front and side doors being left open. With the extreme heat, big windows and doors open how could it keep up. Once you closed the doors the temperature came back down. I'm sure you don't leave the doors open at home. Our AC units work the same as your does at home. Outside cameras are pretty much standard these days. These cameras provide safety and security for our guests and our property. Can't see how the cameras could keep you from enjoying your family time. Best regards.....

Joyce, You created an unfavorable situation for me, my family, the guests in your party and yourself. Insisting to maintain a 65 degree temperature in a 4400 square foot cabin, with outside temperatures in the 90's, was impossible. The HVAC system could not keep up without damage to the unit. Although my cabin a rental, it is still my home and I do intend to maintain it's integrity for my future guests. I felt that you were not a good fit, and showed disrespect for my property. For these reasons you were issued a full refund, removed from the property and placed in a more suitable lodging location . This was a stressful situation for all involved. I'm can only imagine how the other members of your party felt having to move from one place to another. If not falling your temper tantrums and allowing you to disrespect my property makes me rude, it is what it is. My property's integrity is still intact and we currently have happy guests. I can say I have rented this property since 2017 and have never have removed anyone from it. Since you did not get your way you consider me difficult to deal with. I wouldn't have expected you to feel any other way. I truly hope your hotel lodging experience was a good one. Best regards..
