Indoors, the farmhouse stays warm and comfortable during colder months with spacious communal areas designed more for gathering together than formal entertaining.

Walking and cycling routes begin directly around the property, while restaurants and cafés can be reached within roughly 2 km. TT Circuit Assen lies around 30 minutes away and attracts motorsport fans throughout the year. Guests looking for quieter nature spots should visit Drents-Friese Wold National Park, known for forests, heathlands, and peaceful cycling trails through one of the Netherlands’ largest nature reserves. The nearby villages are also worth exploring slowly by bike rather than car, especially during summer afternoons.
