Townhouse in the Old Village, Vilamoura with direct access to the pool

I am sorry that you found the downstairs of the house cold at night. Although the Algarve is usually mild at this time of year I understand from our agents that there has been a lot of bad weather recently. It is for this reason that as well as an electric heater there is a log burner in the sitting area which we use in these circumstances and which makes the room very cosy. I am sorry that you found the beds uncomfortable. We have been letting the house for twenty years and have not had an issue with the beds. The towels are supplied by our letting agent so I will raise your complaint with them. I do not understand how the terrace was closed as access from the house is through French windows which lock using the handle mechanism and not with keys. However I am pleased that our agents who are on site for any problems solved that for you. I was not aware that the pool was closed and having enquired have been told that it was for essential repairs. I hope that our agents directed you to the other pool in the complex which was open. Many people book our house because of the easy access to the pool so I understand your concern and in recognition I am happy to offer you a discount on a future booking.
