Thank you Bettina for your excellent review. We are happy to know you really enjoyed the apartment and its cooking area, and also the quiet courtyard where our guests can rest during their stay. We are sorry about the stairs. Most buildings in San Gimignano are historical and most apartments have stairs. We however provide a luggage storage on the ground floor where our guests can leave some of their luggage if they don't need everything for their stay. We usually recommend it for only one night stays, but we provide it to everyone. We hope the suggestions have lived up to your expectations and they helped you enjoy your visit in San Gimignano at its fullest. It has been a pleasure to host you and we hope to see you again soon.
