Don’t waste your money. It was so small you have to put your suitcase on the bed to open it up. It has no air conditioning so we had to open the window, so you get to listen to all the noise of the cars that drive by and from the pub next-door. We left early and went to the Marriott.

Good location but very small... photos are wide angle and everything appears much bigger. It is adequate to the task (we were there to see Paris not the inside of the room). No a/c so window must be left open when warm, and there was a heat source we never found making inside even warmer. However, the unit is ground-level on the road... very little privacy when the windows are open and noisy either way, especially on weekend nights since it is in a student area. The location is very convenient for access to all every in the cité. The room wasn't ready when we arrived at check-in time. Early communication via VRBO was not responded to and we paid for early check-in.

Pictures were deceptive. It’s extremely small no place to put your luggage. No air-conditioning. Have to leave the window open for Air pub next door making lots of noise till 1AM deliveries at 7 AM.

Had to leave after night one. No WiFi, a crazy amount of noise from the English pub next door (including loading and unloading metal barrels at 5am) and does not feel safe.

Very noisy, dirty, tiny tiny apartment that couldn’t fit two people with luggage. There was a very bad, concerning smell coming from the bathroom and sink. The communication has been so back and forth and unhelpful. We emailed them the day we checked in and a week later they are claiming we never filed a complaint. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional.

We have been emailing back and forth without any meaningful resolution, and unfortunately the conditions of the property forced us to leave and book a hotel during our stay.The apartment was not as represented in the listing. The noise level was unbearable, particularly because the entrance opened directly onto the street next to a bar, something that was never disclosed beforehand. In addition, the apartment was not clean upon arrival — there was visible dust and dirt along the floorboards, as well as a strong unpleasant odor coming from the sink and bathroom area. The space was also significantly smaller than advertised; it was so cramped that we could barely move around once our luggage was inside.This was especially upsetting given that this was a long-awaited and important trip for us, and instead of being able to enjoy it, we spent a considerable amount of time dealing with the stress and inconvenience of finding alternate accommodations.

No. Just no.

We don’t need luxury when we are just sleeping in a place and spending our day exploring the city. So I booked this place. Big mistake. There was no air conditioning. They offer a fan, but the room is stifling hot without opening a window. BUT. You cannot do that, because the window is streetside DIRECTLY on a busy sidewalk and has no curtains. There are wooden shutters that shut from the inside, but if you close them it’s just a little tiny dark room from the bowels of Hades. . We tried to watch French Open tennis on the tiny little tv. After reaching out to customer service ( that was fast), they helped me to discover There is no cable. So really, if you don’t have your own streaming, fuggadaboutit. If you want to go to bed before 2 am or wake up after 7am, don’t rent it. The neighbors are an English pub for Sorbonne students. And boy, do they take the party on the street. Every night but Monday. It’s like they are in the tiny little miserably hot room with you smoking their skinny little cigarettes and sing-shouting French songs. Mornings were started early with extra loud street noises: garbage pick up each morning, street sweepers, etc. and loud talking outside our metal door, Which held a bunch of rental keyboxes. We never tried to cook—the place was Too hot and small. The stove just took up precious counter real estate. There was a fridge, but we found that it just added to the oppressive heat of the tiny room. One good thing: Located near a metro station.

Wie ich bereits in E-Mails geschrieben habe, wurde uns ein späterer Check-out zugesichert, da wir beim Einzug in die Wohnung so große Schwierigkeiten hatten. Wir hatten keine Notfallnummer und standen im Regen. Ohne die Hilfe der Nachbarn hätten wir in ein Hotel gehen müssen. Nachdem uns zunächst zugesichert wurde, dass wir zumindest bis 12:00 Uhr bleiben könnten, teilte man uns dann mit, dass Checkmyguest 49 Euro für einen Aufenthalt bis 12:00 Uhr berechnen würde. Es ist absurd, wie viele Agenturen an dieser Vermietung beteiligt sind: VRBO, Sie und CMG.
