This 1898 landmark property offers comfortable accommodation for groups of up to 12. Located in the heart of St. Andrews, steps to the Old Course and the best restaurants and pubs in town. Tail End, The Seafood Restaurant, Dunvegan Pub and many others are within blocks of the property. New 75” TV and tartan bedroom carpets. 1 Murray Park has a renovated living room and kitchen. The kitchen, dining and living areas open up into one large great room. You will find this space to be among the nicest in St. Andrews for a traveling group.

Please note that due to high demand and reservation cycle terms are 50% deposit on reservation, balance due six months out.

With full kitchen, dining and living rooms, you can relax and enjoy your special trip in comfort. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and be set up with two twin or one super king bed. You have the privacy of individual rooms along with ample common space to relax and enjoy when you return from your golf or sightseeing adventures.

For groups preparing meals it’s an easy walk to Tesco Supermarket along with specialty shops like St. Andrews Wine Company. Taste coffee shop is located across the street. Balgove Larder is a short drive away for the finest local meats, cheeses and prepared foods. Restaurants with a wide food variety are available in an easy 1-10 minute walk.

You will be greeted on arrival by a basket of provisions in the kitchen to get you started. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans, spices and equipment to allow both self prepared and for chef prepared meals.

If desired we can organize your entire golf trip to the UK.

Our experienced property manager/concierge in St. Andrew will give you the best in golf, transportation and food options. We work with a select clientele interested in personal service and individual nattention. Our love the game and golf travel experience will help us make your trip memorable.

1 Murray Park is part of the Clubhouse Properties family. Also with three rental homes in Pinehurst, the Home of American Golf. 910-235-9000.

We also have other apartments and homes with 2-4 bedrooms in St. Andrews. Those can be combined to accommodate whatever size group you have and single/double occupancy needs. Longer term stays November to February available. Inquire for more details

Scotland Golf

Eight of us came to play golf in the St. Andrews area. The property is fantastic and also in a great location near anything you could need for food and entertainment. It’s also very close to the St. Andrews Links courses and easy for cabs and cars to find for courses outside of the city. We had a great experience from booking to check out.

Perfect accommodations for our golf party of 8. Walkable to everything. Courses and market and main street pubs and restaurants. Clean, and well stocked, kitchen very capable for full meal cooking. Awesome jumbo flat screen in sitting area. Local host Andy made everything easy at check in and out. Will be back.

Golf trip - St. Andrews

We had a great stay! 8 golfers total and the accommodations were fantastic! Location is convenient to food, drink, entertainment and a short walk to the 1st tee at The Old Course. Would recommend to anyone coming to St. Andrews for golf or leisure.

Great golf group stay

We had 7 of us and had a ball. Great location for walk to courses or town for food and fun. Andy and his team even left us some snacks and fruit at check-in, along with coffee and pastries- classy move and much appreciated.

Fantastic location and accommodations

Wonderful stay in St Andrews! This location is ideal! Each of the six bedrooms has their own bathroom and shower! The bedrooms are very comfortable and the linens are lovely. The common area is very comfortable with a dining room table for 12 people. The host of this property was always available and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful stay in St A

Tier 1A Property in St. Andrews

3 families filled this place up with 14 total guests. The house is incredible, amazing location for golf, dining, beach and the university. The living and dining room and kitchen are all more spacious than we imagined from the pictures. Steve was responsive throughout and issues with hot water in 1 part of the flat were resolved within a day of the call. We would stay here every single visit to St. Andrews.

Ideal St Andrews Experience

The property was absolutely perfect for our group of 12 golfers. 12 beds in 6 rooms with 6 bathrooms and plenty of space in the common area and kitchen for us to congregate. The location is walkable to everything you can think of including many local pubs and of course the golf courses. Andy the host was easy to communicate with and gave us lots of insight into the area and even booked us a dinner reservation. If you are coming over with a group of friends to play golf, I couldn't possible imagine a better spot.

Amazing property and location.

We loved this property. It easily housed 10 of us, and having our own bathrooms was amazing. The house was in a fantastic spot only metres to the Old Course and many other attractions in St Andrews. The hosts were incredible and able to answer any questions and assist with things like organising a private chef for dinner as well as recommending golf courses for us to play. Somewhere to store clubs, as well as having a washing machine and dryer were also handy features. The property was clean and had everything we need. Already planning a trip back. Thanks!

wedding bliss

About 60 of us came to St Andrews for a wedding. The town is easily walkable, and easy to navigate. 1 Murray Park made the trip even more enjoyable. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom and the common area of the kitchen, dining and living were one great open space for us all to enjoy our time together. Check in was easy, Andy met us and had us settled in no time and was available if we needed anything. Some of the group played golf and there was plenty of room for clubs to be kept at the bottom of the stair as you came in. If a group of you are thinking of travelling together, this is the perfect house with lots of room, it is close to everything , and just a stone throw away from the Denvegan Pub, a mandatory stop for all.

Bringing Mom’s Ashes Home

We had our family staying in the home for my wife’s mom’s memorial service. The home was clean and local to everything needed in town. The rooms were clean but very small. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals but the microwave only worked sporadically. The bathrooms were clean but not all of the lightbulbs/fans worked so some of them had poor lighting or air circulation. The owner left us a lovely bowl of fruit on the table which we enjoyed. Overall the property was nice with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms which was exactly what we needed for our group and I would recommend this property to families. Mom is now back in her homeland for eternity on The Law in Dundee.

Beautiful Appartment, great area, unsuitable technical support and function.

The Appartment is beautiful and really like the pictures show. Great location at one of the main streets „downtown“. Our experience was mixed as we enjoyed the location as well as a friendly welcome by the property manager. First thing we noticed is that the radiators were not functioning and it was „chilly“ so we needed full golf outdoor equipment to wear not to get cold. Andy (the property manager) tried to find the failure but it took 3 days to get it work!! ...that,s kind of uncomfortable. As well the fridge was not working and after 24 hours they could arrange a functioning (but brandnew!) one. Than the old one was stuck in the Appartment as it was too big to move. Finally the third day that was handled. Andy, the property manager, was extremely helpful and tried his best. He mentioned the owner would be fair and will take care of us „ afterwards“ - in fact he did not at all. Our recommendation would be to check all systems in the beginning of your stay and inform VBRO if anything is not working. Heating and fridge are substantial!! An appropriate fair financial treatment (advised by management) was finally not provided at all.

A brand new American sized refrigerator was installed the day of arrival after the old unit was deemed unrepairable. Delivery service had to return to remove old unit. At guest request heaters were cranked to highest level throughout house prior to arrival. Yet from first day all bedroom windows were left open by tenant during entire 5 night stay, so I’m mystified at this complaint. For the above two “issues”, tenant (a self described vacation rental owner) requested a night free. The size, quality of accommodation and location of my property is unmatched in St. Andrews. However, I can’t promise perfect so if that is your expectation please look elsewhere for your accommodation needs.

Perfect location and great place

I can’t say enough about the apartment and Andy who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The location is wonderful and the bedrooms are all really nice with their own bathrooms attached. The kitchen has everything you might want it’s just a really great place for a group of golfers or a family that is exploring St. Andrews and the beautiful countryside. We really hope to be able to return again and enjoy this wonderful spot.
