Regarding the A/C, we would like to clarify that it is fully functional, regularly maintained, and routinely tested. It reliably brings the apartment down to around 22°C (72°F), so we were surprised to see it described as “minimum AC.” Rome’s August temperatures can indeed be extremely high, but this is, of course, a characteristic of the climate rather than an issue with the apartment. We take great pride in offering such an exclusive apartment in a beautifully maintained early 20th-century building with an elevator — a relatively rare feature in Trastevere and we respect your personal experience, but we believe it is important for future guests to have these facts in mind when reading the review.

Thank you for your feedback. We would, however, like to clarify a few points, as some aspects of your review are misleading. You booked a private tourist apartment, not a hotel. Each guest is provided with one complete set of towels for the stay. What is not provided is a daily change or additional linen, as these are hotel services. This distinction should also be considered when comparing the services and pricing with a hotel in Trastevere in September. As a private tourist apartment, we do not provide personal-care products or laundry detergent, also to avoid potential allergies or intolerances to specific products. The washing machine is fully functional, and detergent can easily be purchased at the supermarket located less than 50 metres from the apartment. Regarding noise, the property is located in Trastevere, one of Rome's liveliest areas, with many residents, restaurants and visitors. Normal urban noise, including at night, is therefore an inherent characteristic of the location and unfortunately something we cannot control. Finally, regarding the AC, we do not impose restrictions on its use. We simply ask guests to switch it off when leaving, as a matter of responsible energy use. We are sorry if this made the apartment feel warm upon your return, but the request is intended only to encourage conscious use of the system. We hope these clarifications help future guests understand what to expect from a private tourist apartment in the heart of Trastevere.

As a courtesy, we had scheduled your check-in for 2:00 PM, one hour earlier than our standard policy, and our staff arrived punctually at the agreed time to welcome you. Regarding the clothes dryer, we are sorry you could not locate it. However, the apartment is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom property, and had you asked either during check-in or later through our Support Department, we would have been happy to assist you immediately. As for the air conditioning, its operation was explained during check-in. In addition, clear instructions are provided both in the Welcome Book and on the thermostat itself, so guests have all the information they need to use the system correctly. Finally, we are sorry that you found us "not friendly." From the moment you arrived, you expressed dissatisfaction with several issues that could have been resolved easily with a simple question. This is clearly stated in the listing, and typical city sounds including the tram line are part of the experience of staying in such a central urban area. Regarding the kitchen, the apartment is equipped with standard cookware and utensils suitable for normal home cooking. Our perception does not align with the description of the kitchen being unusable, though we understand that individual cooking habits and expectations may vary. Comfort-related comments, such as pillow firmness, are inherently subjective and may differ from guest to guest. With respect to the dryer, no malfunction has been identified before or after the stay. We would also like to correct an important inaccuracy: there is no club or nightlife venue located in the building. The property is a residential building inhabited by families, and this statement is incorrect. Finally, the surrounding area reflects the reality of a lively, central city and a historic neighborhood, which naturally includes a wide range of people and daily activity. The apartment has never included a microwave among its listed amenities. Information shown incorrectly by third-party platforms is beyond our control. The building does have an elevator; as is common in historic Roman buildings, there are a few steps before reaching it. The apartment is located on Viale Trastevere, one of the most central and lively areas of Rome, where some city noise can be expected and is clearly indicated in the listing. Regarding heating and air conditioning, systems are managed according to seasonal regulations, and no restrictions were imposed on their use. The kitchen is equipped as described and suitable for standard residential use. The pre check-in process, including ID upload and rental agreement, is a legal requirement in Italy for short-term rentals and is handled through a secure system, with assistance always available. The twin/trundle bed has a standard metal frame, is stable when used correctly, and is shown in the photos. The apartment is regularly maintained, professionally cleaned, and recently renovated. Throughout the stay, our team responded promptly and courteously to all requests.
