Lovely house in a great location

The house was lovely, very well equipped and furnished to a high standard. In a convenient location on the edge of Clifden town, just a short walk from the centre of the town along a quiet road.

A fantastic house

Definitely a place we will be booking again. Perfect walking distance to the town and a really homely spacious house. We are delighted to have found a base for all our regular trips to Clifden. 10/10

Highly recommended

We (three adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well appointed property which is actually much larger than it appears on first sight. The kitchen is one of the best equipped of any property we have ever stayed in and biscuits, cereals, milk, orange juice, butter and jams had been provided for us. We did not use the huge dining-room at the back of the house which would be the perfect room for games evenings. After a long day's sightseeing we enjoyed being in the cosy sitting-room watching a bit of TV. All three of us found the beds to be very comfortable and there is plenty of wardrobe space with sufficient clothes hangers. At the side of the house is a huge terrace with a BBQ and plenty of seating - ideal for families or groups of friends. From here and the front of the house) you have a lovely view of the Twelve Bens. The extra power source supplied by solar panels was an unexpected bonus. There was to be a power cut on the morning of our departure but the battery was switched on so that we had electricity. The house is located about 900 m from the town so persons with mobility problems might find a walk down to Clifden and back up the long hill a bit difficult, however, there are taxis available so the location does not really represent an issue. We would gladly return to this property and commend the owners for keeping it so beautiful!

Comfortable cottage near Clifden town centre

The house location is perfect to go by foot to the town centre or to do the short walk to Clifden Castle. The cottage is very comfortable with large rooms and is fully equiped. The place is also quiet. Our host came to welcome us on arrival and there was everything to breakfast in case we would have arrived too late to do shopping. This is a place I recommend to everyone visiting Clifden and Connemara.

Very nice house.

Très contents de cette location. Sa proximité avec le centre-ville de Clifden est parfaite. La maison est très propre, très pratique. La présence de deux salons est vraiment très utile. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour . Le Connemara est une région magnifique et nous avons pu admirer ses beaux paysages. On reviendra avec plaisir dans l'avenir.

Das Haus war sehr, sehr sauber und es hat an nichts gefehlt (Ausstattung ist perfekt). Die Lage ist schön und ruhig und man ist in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß im Kern von Clifden. Die Gastgeber sind zudem sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Kann das Objekt zu 100 % empfehlen, einfach toll!
