For the active traveler the 11 mile Trout Run Trail is 2 blocks from our home with canoeing and kayak rentals less than a mile away. Enjoy a daily walk or run through the tree-lined historic streets leading to Phelps Park or explore Ice Cave or Dunning Springs. Some say the Upper Iowa river is one of the best for fly fishing. For the traveler looking to relax there are several amazing shops to casually stroll though within a few blocks. If you are looking for history, arts or culture The Vesterheim Museum is less than a block from our home. Luther College offers the Fine Arts Collection and The Porter Museum are both less than a mile from our home. If you are looking for amazing food and beverage experiences - Decorah has a lot to offer.
