Kickback in the rustic charm of this condo with its vaulted ceilings and ideal location. You’re only 100 yards to Main Street where you can spend hours exploring interesting shops or enjoying a tasty meal prepared in a historic mining town. Whether you’re staying for business or pleasure, you’ll feel at home with everything you need for a refreshing stay.
The Space:
The condo has its own deck with table seating. It’s a great spot to relax and take in the beautiful outdoor views.
Inside, there’s a bedroom with a king size bed. Then, another bedroom has a queen size bed, along with a sofa bed. There is also a queen size sofa bed in the living room so you can sleep 6 with ease. Two full bathrooms make it convenient for multiple guests. The living room has a cozy fireplace, leather furniture and flat screen TV. It shares the open-concept space with the dining room and fully-stocked kitchen.
There’s garage parking with one dedicated spot and an additional guest space. Coin laundry (see Guest Access for details) is available on the unit floor.
Please note that like most homes in Breckenridge, we do not have A/C.

Guest Access:
There is a laundry room on each floor. $1.75 per wash and $1.50 per dry. Quarters only so bring change or have a drink at the Quandary, about 150 feet outside the door, and buy a roll of quarters.
Guest will have access to the Columbine pool.

Opening day of the ski season - the last day of the ski season
The hours of operation for the pool and hot tub are 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM
The Neighborhood:
This convenient neighborhood is a short walk to town, and a short, 6 - 9 minute drive to the free gondola taking you up above exclusive neighborhoods and marvelous mountain meadows. There’s plenty to see and do whether you stroll the historic charm of Main Street, sightsee or enjoy one of the many other activities available nearby.
Getting Around:
This unit is walkable to town. Uber is also available.
Other Things to Note:
Please provide an accurate guest count prior to booking. Rates vary throughout the week and season and by number of guests. It's important that your guest count is accurate so we can be sure the home is adequately prepared and stocked for your stay.
Please note this home uses the Columbine pool, which does close for maintenance in the Fall. Be sure to check their hours online!
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

Great location. About a 1/4 mile to the peak 9 base lifts with at least 3 ski shops on the way. Hot tub is a 200ft outdoor walk from the condo, so we didn't use it.

Second as good as the first
This was our second time to stay at Columbine Den. It is perfectly situated in Breckenridge, easy walking distance to all the many fun things available in Breckenridge. The accommodations are clean, comfortable and quiet. I highly recommend this property when visiting.

Great Location
Property was conveniently located for everything we wanted to do. Condo was nicely equipped with all amenities (except AC), which luckily we didn't have high temps.

Disappointed
Location was very good but....
We checked out 2 days early. Very frustrated with our visit. Below is a list of a few of the things that diminished our visit. We won't stay here again!
- Unit was not clean. Floors were incredibly dirty. Dirty shot glass in one bathroom left on counter. Stains (purple) on rugs in master bath along with some purple sticky substance on countertops. Dirty dishes and silverware in cupboards and drawers in kitchen.
- Hot tub/pool required reservations for 35 minute appointments that were limited to 1 per day and only reservable 24 hours in advance. We were only able to reserve a hot tub once.
- No "beach" towels for hot tub.
- Fireplace did not work.
- Heat in main area didn't work (unit was at 61 degrees).
- No hot water in one bathroom.
- Sheets on queen bed were twin sized and didn't cover the entire bed.
- Several lights didn't work in second bedroom.
