Great Location!

The location couldn’t have been better. The beds were very comfortable. The rental was clean and spacious. The property is in need of some repairs and updates but nothing that had a negative impact on our trip. Overall it was a great value and we would definitely stay again.

Meh

If you don’t planning on spending a lot of time in the rental house this will work for convenience of location. Outdated, air conditioning barely worked, no I didn’t complain to the manager because thankfully we didn’t have to spend much time there. The beds were clean, carpets and under the sink in the kitchen less than stellar as far as cleanliness. Hoping the place gets updated.

If you are on a budget or just looking for an average place to stay, it’s great. The place needs a lot of repairs. Went to hang a towel on the towel rack in one bathroom and it just came right off the wall. In the other bathroom, same thing with the toilet paper roll. The place is not as nice as pictured, but for the bare necessities, it works.

Great Locarion, Clean

The house was very clean, we had everything we needed! We made breakfast, and ate out the rest of the weekend. Access to the city via Uber was very quick and easy! I highly recommend this place!!

Good for a large family

Overall this first floor rental was a good place for a large family (adults and kids) to spend time both on site and exploring Cleveland. The Good: - Tons of space. 2 livings rooms, 2 full baths, 4 bedrooms. Basic amenities but comfortable. - Location was quiet but also a close drive to anything in Cleveland. Some nice places in walking distance as well. - Easy free street parking. - Window A/Cs in every room worked very well to cool the whole place. - Large gated backyard. The Less-Than-Good: - A couple of questionable cleanliness issues. - Front door was confusing to confirm whether it was locked or not from the inside. - Not every smoke detector was functional (or had batteries). - Odd note left encouraging we leave a tip for the cleaning folks even though we pay a cleaning fee. None of the above kept us from enjoying our stay. The rental was perfectly good for our needs on this trip.

great base to explore cleveland

traditional older home in a neighborhood experiencing a renaissance. located within an easy uber ride to great bars, markets, and restaurants. place was well equipped with linens towels soaps etc. kitchen was small but workable. the two small charcoal grills in the backyard were great.

Quiet, Comfortable, and Convenient

The Detroit- Shoreway house was conveniently located to downtown. It was comfortable, quaint, and relaxing. The owner is responsive and I would highly recommend.

Perfect home in a perfect location

This home was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. It was easy to locate and easy to get to where we wanted to go from there. We were within walking distance of a convenience store, breakfast and supper restaurants and a short ride from the attractions we were in town for. The area felt very safe and homey as well. I would stay there again for sure!

Met our needs

The property met our needs and was in good proximity to downtown. A few issues though -the bathroom sink in back of the house leaked so you had to remember not to leave the water running while brushing your teeth or washing your hands or else it would run out onto the floor. We had to put a towel under it to keep the water contained. The stove was unplugged so we did not use it as we didn't know whether it was broken or unsafe to use. There were no instructions about whether it was in working condition or not. Never could get the TV in the middle room to work. Instructions would have been helpful once again. Probably would not stay there again as we enjoyed the Saratoga property better. It had much more room to spread out.

Perfect apartment in Ohio City

This apartment was everything that a group of 5 guys needed for a weekend getaway in Cleveland. We each had our own bed, including a pull-out sofa, and it worked out perfectly. The beds are comfy, clean, and provided a great nights' rest for each of us. We each had our own bedroom, which proved essential. Some may think the interior is a little dated, but we loved it -- the kitchen contained a working refrigerator and freezer, a working oven and microwave, and both full bathrooms were a nice commodity. The apartment manager, Nick, was prompt and accurate with his responses, and even checked via email during our stay to ensure that everything was going smoothly for us. Towels and linens were provided, which meant we didn't have to pack any of those items in our suitcase to bring. The floors and carpets were clean. There was a group staying in the apartment above us as well, but I hardly ever heard them. The apartment is very close to some fun bars, breweries, an indoor market, and only a short Uber ride to downtown Cleveland. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay and if I'm ever in the Ohio City/Cleveland area again, I will be sure to book this apartment again!

Very disappointed.

The house was outdated, the oven was broken, there were animal feces under the beds, the house was smaller than it looked on the pics, the tub was dirty, and there was animal hair all over the beds and furniture. I would not recommend anyone staying here.
