Please read this section before booking. Alisea is a small, carefully designed home, and it suits some travellers beautifully and others not at all. We would rather you know exactly what you are getting. The space. About 30 square metres on two levels. Downstairs: kitchen with hob, fridge and everything needed to cook, opening onto a bright dining area. Upstairs, reached by a staircase: a double bed in the mezzanine. Headroom there is 1.65 m, so you stand slightly bent. It is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility or for anyone uncomfortable with stairs at night. Strictly two guests. There is no sofa bed and no space for a third person or a cot. No outdoor space. There is no balcony, terrace or garden. Laundry dries indoors on the rack provided: fine for a few items, less practical for a long stay with a full wash. Minimal by design. The kitchen has pots, pans and utensils, but this is a self-catering home, not a hotel: seasonings and consumables are not included. See the section below for the full list, so nothing comes as a surprise. The setting. A quiet residential street with free parking right outside, unusual for Livorno even in August. The sea is 50 metres away on a rocky shore, ideal for a swim off the rocks; the nearest equipped sandy beach is about 500 metres. It is a residential neighbourhood, so you will hear normal daily life from the surrounding homes, sometimes early in the morning. What guests consistently praise: cleanliness, the design, the location and the parking. If you are two people who want a beautiful, compact base by the sea, this is for you.
Self check-in with a keypad, between 16:00 and 20:00. No one to meet: you type the code and you are in. You receive it once the online registration is complete, along with photos of the street, the door and the keypad. Please complete the online registration before you travel. Italian law requires us to register every guest before entry, and the contract is signed with an OTP code. Parking is free on the street right outside, and there is usually space even in high season. During your stay, write to us on Airbnb chat. We answer every day from 9:00 to 20:00.
So that nothing is a surprise, here is exactly what is in the house and what is not. What you will find: bed linen and towels made up, toilet paper for the first days, one dose of dishwasher detergent, pots, pans and all cooking utensils, a drying rack, hairdryer, air conditioning and wifi. What we do not provide: food and seasonings (salt, oil, pepper, spices, coffee) and consumables such as hand soap, laundry detergent, tea towels, bin bags and kitchen paper. No outdoor space: laundry dries indoors on the rack, please never on the radiators. Forgotten something? We keep items found after check-out for 7 days.
