This is a classic stone Tuscan farmhouse that dates back to the XIX century. It has been fully and authentically restored, using original materials such as local stones and chestnut wood. The location of the property, wich extends over 3 hectars, offers magnificent views of the Tuscan hills and to the front of the Tyrrhenian coast stretching as far as Corsica Island. The sun drenched olive groves, the smell of the wild time and herbs in the summer, the clusters of wild flowers in the spring, the clear unpolluted air, the silence, make this little corner of Tuscany unique. The farmhouse "Le Ligoracce" gives you the chance to naturally experience country life style in a totally immersive way, among genuine sounds and fragrances.

Many of the villages, which are just a few minutes drive from the farmhouse, offer several places of interest: the famous Buddhist Centre of Pomaia for those who seek a place of great peace and spir-ituality, or, to refresh from a hot day at the beach, nothing better than the Casciana terme SPA!

Bees, horses and wild nature
Choose your favourite way to live the countryside: help with the “smielatura”, the collection of honey and try some of the scented honey for breakfast; watch our horses being groomed and pre-pared for a ride; discover wild orchids in the field around the farmhouse; watch the red sun set from our porch sipping a glass of wine; take up painting.
Or simply watch the huge sky at night and myriads of stars and constellations.

In 20 minutes you can reach the nearby beaches of Castiglioncello and Vada, in 45 min. those of Donoratico, Bibbona and the wonderful Gulf of Baratti. From Piombino you can also embark to the nearby islands!
Over 20% of the Thyrrenian coast comprises parks, natural protected oasis and areas, for fauna pro-tection.
Nature is not just a setting, but the very essence of this land, with its dense stands of pine trees, woods and countryside rich with colours and scents; a temperate climate throughout the year , with particularly mild springs, long summers and infrequent rainfall during autumn and winter, makes for enjoyable holidays all year around.

The farmhouse is favourably positioned to visit some amongst the most beautiful towns in Tuscany: Pisa, Siena, Volterra, S. Gimignano, Lucca, Firenze and the traditional villages of Bolgheri, Castag-neto Carducci, Casale Marittimo.
Nestled within the “ Golfo di Baratti “ lays the necropoli etrusca of Populonia, today part of the in-teresting “Parco Archeologico e Naturalistico.”
