Sunday river lodging

Good location off the hill - only 5 minute drive or so. Cozy accommodation ideal for a family of 4 with smaller children or just a couple of adults.

Great location

We had a great time staying here the week of our wedding. Close to downtown Bethel and Sunday River. Quiet and very clean. Plenty of clean linens and towels. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Great ski weekend getaway

The place was great with the perfect location but the building numbers were very confusing. No email or phone number was provided for contact until after we finally got in. The space was very nice but be prepared for noisy neighbors. Better for young singles.

Just as described

We had a great stay! It truly felt like a home away from home. We stayed here in the summer with no AC but they had fans in the closet that helped it stay cool just fine. I was also really happy they provided towels and bed linen. We will definitely stay again!

Convenient & close to the slopes

We stayed for nearly a week & it was perfectly suitable for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Sweet little condo

The Condo itself is perfect for two. There is no air conditioning but a nice fan was in the bedroom which made it great for sleeping. Very cozy king bed too! The back common sitting porch could use a deep cleaning but otherwise this was very nice and super clean on the inside. The area was not what we expected which was kind of out in nowhere. But a short ride brought you to the covered bridge

Clean and Quiet

No one was renting in the building so it was nice and quiet. Comfy bed too. The refrigerator had rust when you opened the freezer. But very nice, would rent again.

Convenient and clean

Lovely efficient unit that was perfect for three adults. Delightfully quiet during the week with lots of activity as the weekend hit. Bonus being on the shuttle route when I fatigued sooner than the rest. I was able to go back via shuttle and not have to wait for others. Would definitely stay there again.

Convenient location and nice place

Very comfortable unit and exactly as advertised. The post and beam features gave it a nice ski lodge feel to it. We didn’t use it, but the shuttle to the mountain came right to the property. We decided to drive, and it was about 7 minute drive tot the mountain. Our only complaint would be the lack of insulation between the units. That didn’t affect our rating, since we were fortunate enough to have quiet neighbors. But low conversation was easy to hear between units

Looked like two bedroom when said slept four

I arrived with my two adult kids for three total. One double bed only. Pullout couch with no sheets. VRBO would not let me state total cost but it was more than double the resort hotel all in per night. Not good.

Unless you have a back of steel, AVOID this condo!

When we rented the condo, there were no reviews on the HomeAway site. 2 weeks before our trip, we saw 2 out of 4 reviews stating the bed being very uncomfortable. We then contacted Vacasa (a "premier partner" of HomeAway) 8 times per phone asking for a better mattress and we were assured each time that we would get an immediate response to what they were going to do to resolve the issue. We started our vacation with still no word from Vacasa, so we brought an air mattress with us just in case. Just prior to our arrival we were emailed from Vacasa that they "fixed" the mattress by layering a feather bed topper on top of the mattress from 1995. After 1 night on the bed and plenty of Ibuprofen, we slept on the air mattress. Scientifically, we can prove that a great topper does not mask a terrible mattress! Only if Vacasa would ever replace the mattress with a NEW one, could we recommend this place. It is within 3 car minutes from Sunday River and the shuttle service stops right in front of the apartment. It was clean and quiet.

Not Recommended

The mattresses are very old and sunk in. Obviously, since this has been commented on more than once, there is no concern whether it is comfortable for renters or not. I We didn't even want to sleep in it

Close to Sunday River

This place is superbly located to Sunday River. 3 minutes per car, door to door. There is even a shuttle service from their parking lot to the ski resort. The condo was very clean and quiet. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this condo because of the terribly uncomfortable mattress. Luckily, we brought an air mattress and slept on that, after one night on the bed.
