Last Time Staying at this resort

The property manager was very unhelpful.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
I was happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

I have stayed at this location for several years with no problems in the past. However, this stay was troublesome from the very start. I waited to get into town closer to time for check in since the rooms are hardly ever ready early. I assumed I would be getting my room code and gate code within reasonable time before check in. I never received any codes and it was approaching 5pm check in. I started to call the front desk, I couldn’t get anyone to answer. After calling multiple times, someone answered but they were only an answering service that told me no one was at the desk because they closed for the day. They told me I could use the emergency line and someone would return my call. So I sit and wait, and after a while they finally returned my call. The lady gave me codes to get in, but when we got to the gate she had given me the wrong code. I could not get in the parking garage, I had to wait until someone was leaving coming out the other side to ask someone for the code. So we finally get in there and go to the room, right away the smell of mold, mildew, something really stinky hits me in the face. It was terrible! The dryer is beeping and lights are flashing and the refrigerator light is out. Those are just a few things right off the bat that was going on. I alerted the front desk the next morning to let them know of the repairs needed. I told them it was not of urgency but they assured me someone would be there to fix it the next morning. I stayed 4 nights and I never saw a maintenance worker the entire time. I also let them know about the issue with getting the codes and they acted pretty much like oh well, not my problem. I don’t think I will be staying at this resort on my next trip, but for the price of staying here you would expect a better experience.
