Peaceful Mountain getaway, 3 bath, Spectacular views! Coffee in the cupboard!

We are delighted to share our mountain home with you! We are nestled in the country with amazing views of 14,000' mountains. We are a short 10 min. drive to the town of Buena Vista, which you can see from our home. You can enjoy a cup of coffee on the patio and relax with sweeping views looking down the valley to the Sangre DeCristo mountains. We have raised our family in this home and have created many fond memories, as you will too! Because of the great location there is so much to do in our area; mountain biking, hiking, rafting, horseback riding, ATV excursions, Jeeping, skiing, paddle boarding, swimming at the Hot Springs, leisurely walks by the Arkansas river, and fishing. Our home is located very close to a trail head if you are interested in a day hike and easy access to the Colorado Trail. We love the views from inside our home too!

We have 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and plenty of space to kick back and relax. Our home has an open floor plan with a spacious kitchen open to the dining and living room areas. We have plenty of items for your use in the kitchen to cook up some of your favorite meals! You will also enjoy vaulted Aspen ceilings throughout the house that give it a cozy mountain feel. All our bedrooms are spacious. You can even lay in bed in the upstairs bedrooms at night and enjoy looking at the stars through the upper windows!

We are family friendly so you will find plenty of games and books throughout the house for your enjoyment. Our family room downstairs has a TV with some DVD's and a comfy couch with a queen memory foam mattress. The master bedroom includes its own bathroom and a lovely covered porch to sit and relax on while taking in the breathtaking views of Mt. Princeton and many other Collegiate mountains. We have two spacious bedrooms upstairs (six steps) and a full bathroom separating the rooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other room has 2 twins and a twin roll away bed in the closet if needed. Downstairs (six steps) you will find a bathroom and our 4th bedroom which also has two twin beds. All linens and towels are provided.

*Kitchen fully equipped with cookware plus some extras; crockpot, large griddle, George Foreman, waffle iron, toaster, coffee maker.

Our quaint little mountain town of Buena Vista offers unique shopping, relaxing coffee shops, yummy restaurants, kid friendly parks, river walk paths, and many churches to choose from. We have an information center here in our home for you to check out the many activities and options for your family as you take in all our valley has to offer. To the north of Buena Vista you can check out Twin Lakes which is absolutely beautiful! There you will find hiking, fishing, boating, and breathtaking views of the tallest mountain in Colorado; Mt. Elbert. The historic town of Leadville is also to the north where you can enjoy a scenic train ride or take in the Mining Museum. The artsy town of Salida is to the south of Buena Vista. You may also want to enjoy a day at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs which is truly a fun Colorado experience! If you happen to be here during the winter months you can enjoy snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, or downhill skiing. We have 3 ski resorts within an hour of our home! Ski Cooper, Copper Mountain and Monarch. If you want to drive just a little further you can ski at Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek or ABasin.

Our home is smoke-free of all types, which includes but is not limited to: cigarettes,
e-cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vapes, and marijuana. Failure to comply with this policy will result in forfeiture of deposit and an additional cleaning fee of $250.
