Welcome to your perfect coastal getaway! This beautifully updated 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage is nestled in the heart of downtown Morro Bay, just a short stroll from the Embarcadero, shops, restaurants, and the waterfront.

Step inside to discover a bright, inviting interior with modern finishes and thoughtful touches throughout. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a high-end JennAir gas range, Samsung refrigerator, granite countertops, and a convenient stackable washer and dryer. The home comfortably sleeps four with one queen bed and two twin beds, and includes Smart TVs, Wi-Fi, and cable for your entertainment.

But the true gem of this home lies outdoors—your own private oasis. The backyard is a lush retreat, boasting a large stone terrace with cozy seating, café string lights overhead, and a full outdoor kitchen complete with a built-in barbecue, fridge, side burners, sink, and granite prep space. A putting green invites you to practice your short game, while fruit trees including avocado, citrus, and lime offer a delicious taste of California—feel free to pick what’s in season!

Whether you're sipping morning coffee under the trees or grilling dinner at sunset, this cottage offers a relaxing and memorable Morro Bay experience.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This property is located on a busy street in Morro Bay (Main St).
- The parking at this property is a little tricky and limited to one vehicle maybe two (depending on size). There is no street parking in front.
- This property will consider a pet (with added $50 pet fee) - PLEASE CHECK THE BOX FOR "BRINGING PETS" WHEN SENDING YOUR BOOKING REQUEST - LOCATED IN THE NUMBER OF GUESTS SECTION.
- This property does not allow smoking.
- This property does now allow parties or events.

Fantastic location! 15 minute walk to beach or downtown shops and restaurants. Super cute, comfortable and clean house. We did not spend any time on the gorgeous patio as it was pretty rainy, but the house itself was very cozy. Yes, it's on a busy(ish) street, but Morro Bay is very mellow, so not much car traffic anyway and very quiet inside the house. By far the biggest win was the location - if you want to be able to walk to food, shopping and the beach, this is as good as it gets!

We loved the outdoor space and putting greens. We were a little surprised at how unkept the outdoor space was. We had to put all the cushions down, sweep the deck of leaves and wipe down the counter and table. The indoors was good but kitchen was very disorganized in cabinets and the coffee grinder did not work.

Great Spot

Putting green provides a great way to pass tge time. Quick walk to the bay, grocery store right up the street. I will come back.

We enjoyed our stay, but I have a large car and the driveway was very small and nearly impossible to maneuver in and out of. House is on a busy street, so there was some road noise which is not ideal if you’re a light sleeper. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Backyard was great with the putting green, lush garden and comfortable patio furniture.

Morro Bay

The house was very cute and close to everything. I appreciated the warning ahead of time about parking. Parking is tight but that was communicated clearly before our arrival. We did have a plumbing issue but Kelly was quick to respond. A plumber arrived within an hour and the issue was resolved quickly. We did not use the bonus room. It seems like it was being used for storage. the detached bonus room. It seems like maybe it was being used for storage

Great Experience

Great location close to restaurants and some nightlife. Walkable to the beach. Clean, comfortable, and great communication with manager. We really enjoyed the backyard putting green! Will return.

Great location to see Morro Bay!

This was a nice clean place with modern amenities (WiFi, appliances, cable tv) and a fun putting green to enjoy. The best part about this place is that it is just a short walk away to the main area where the restaurants and shops are and a convenient store practically next door. This was a comfortable place to stay with my group of 4. I would definitely look into booking this place again if I come back to Morro Bay.

Memorial Day Weekend 2024

Family get away for the Memorial Day Weekend. Great home with a large backyard. Walking distance to shopping, food and coffee. Even walking distance to the Morro Bay Pier. Street out front was a little busy during the day but quieted down overnight. Driveway is a little tight but should be fine for a regular car. I took my Ford F-250 and would recommend backing into the driveway if taking a larger vehicle. We did not use the BBQ but was a nice sized grill and island. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of bathroom towels. The bedrooms were also well stocked with extra pillows and blankets. We did not stay at the house all that often but all in all a fantastic home and would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Perfect Location!

My husband and I + our 4 mo old had a great stay here. The house was at the center of town, walking distance from cute coffee shops/restaurants/stores/beach! Kelly was super quick to respond to all of our questions! We would definitely stay here again!

Great home & location!

Loved our stay! House is exactly as described & had all we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s walking distance to Morro Bay & many shops & restaurants. The Owner responded quickly to any communication before & during our trip. I definitely recommend & would love to stay there again!

Great rental to spend a few nights

The living space is big, bedrooms are small, but perfect for sleeping. Many great restaurants plus the bayside restaurants are within a few minutes by foot. If you like to sleep with the windows open it can be noisy. Otherwise traffic is not an issue. There were no pillows available for the backyard furniture - we never wanted to use it but on the pictures they are there. I would recommend the property to others.

Great backyard and location

My family spent a lovely Labor Day weekend at this home. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked, and the outdoor space and kitchen were fantastic. The house is in walking distance to the Embarcadero and downtown area, and although located on a main road, this town gets sleepy in the evenings and nights were peaceful and quiet.

Cozy and comfortable retreat in Morro Bay!

We enjoyed our stay at this unique property that put us in very easy walking distance to the harbor. The backyard was a delightful retreat for our family of 4. The driveway is tricky off a busy road, but we were able to navigate it with our minivan and would happily plan a return visit. Check in was sooth, everything worked as expected and the property was exactly as described. Thanks very much!

Our visit

Loved the house and location but there are a few issues we encountered: (1) The driveway for this property is extremely narrow. Getting in and out, especially out is not only difficult but can be dangerous due to heavy traffic and lack of adequate room. The hill coming up into Morro Bay on Main St makes it difficult to see oncoming traffic. (2) Although we loved the house itself, it was not very clean. Dirty countertops and lots of cob webs and spiders.

Nice vacation rental

Stayed here during our annual trip to Morro bay. Nicely decorated home as shown in VRBO listing. Enjoyed the secluded patio. The location is very close to Embarcadero and Morro rock.
