Starfish Beach and Playa Estrell
Starfish Beach and Playa Estrella are shallow, calm waters full of bright orange starfish. They gather near the shores to reproduce making way for even more starfish. It’s a great stop for inexperienced swimmers as the waters are so shallow you can stand if you’re not comfortable. You can even go ashore to walk through the coconut palms and mangroves.

Coral Cay
Coral Cay is a nice place to snorkel to see live corals with an abundance of sea life swimming around. There’s a little restaurant situated above the water where fish gather and swim under it. They especially love it if you throw them pineapple skins to feed on. You might also spot parrot fish, coupled angel fish, or sargent major fish.

Escondido
The small Indian village of Escondido is located on a little island behind the mangroves. They live on local fish and small agriculture. Sometimes you can see them paddling to Isla Colon on Panamanian cayucos, or a canoe hollowed from a tree trunk.

Dolphin Bay
This is the place to watch and swim with the friendly and playful Bottle Nose Dolphins
