Your comfort is in mind - our home is equipped with full power backup as not to inconvenience you due to prevalent power outages on the island.

Modern furnished private studio apartment in home built in 2015 with expansive patio to enjoy both sunrises and sunsets. The ground floor has a private studio apartment with bathroom and fully furnished kitchen with the separate main level having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms that can be combined if you wish to rent the entire house.

The studio apartment is tastefully furnished with a queen bed, nightstands, love seat, sofa chair, small table as well as a fully equipped kitchen with granite and new appliances (gas stove, microwave & refrigerator), A/C and ceiling fans. Linens, bath and beach towels, cutlery & silverware, pots/pans, coffee maker and toaster are provided. WiFi and internet TV is included.

This studio apartment is located in the new development of Dolphin Run at Tradewinds and is a short walk to the restaurants and dive shops of Utila via a newly paved road.

The studio apartment is a home finished in October 2015 that has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the upper floor (rented separately) & 1 bedroom and bath (studio apartment) on the ground floor. Located in the newly developed Dolphin Run area of Tradewinds (closest to town) and is only a few minutes walk to the restaurants, shops and dive shops on Utila via a newly paved road. The studio apartment will comfortably sleep 2 people in a queen bed that has novaform covered mattresses for the best night sleep you will ever have!!

Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from inside and out! Large french doors bring the outside in. Spend your time enjoying the views of Roatan, Cayos Cochinos and mainland Honduras while relaxing on the expansive patio. The studio apartment is equipped with air conditioning as well as ceiling fans when wanting to enjoy the ocean breezes bringing the outside in!

Shore diving and snorkeling are available to you right outside your door. Our on island host is available to assist in arranging fishing trips, diving, snorkeling and other activities around the island as well as pre-arrange transportation (Tuk Tuk, ATV/Bicycle/Golf cart rental. At the end of the day of diving, swimming or snorkeling, wash your gear in outdoor station as well as refresh in the outdoor shower.

Rate includes 310kw per day power ( overages are at current Utila Power Company rate), internet, gas and water.

Quiet but close

If your looking for spectacular views but quiet location. This is the place for you. Easy walk into the main part of town or cheap tuk tuk ride! Blanca is amazing and the owners are most responsive. Love it and will return!

Wonderful Stay In Utila

This was such a lovely and well maintained property. The furnishings and appliances were great, the linens were high quality and plentiful, generally just a nice place to come back to at the end of a long day of activities. Blanca is a real pro and made us feel at home, she went out of her way to make the experience wonderful for my wife and I. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.

Reasonably good privacy with empty lots on either side and bushes around the back. Very comfortable and quiet. Had everything we needed. Manager very responsive to our needs. It is on a dusty gravel road a short walk from town.

Wondrous little studio

Last minute, we grabbed this place to extend our stay on Útila and WOW….we got lucky. Very well appointed kitchen allowed us to cook some gourmet meals. Only matters to chefs but…great knives and sharp..with a quality sharpener! The bed was very comfy, bathroom had a bidet! Wonderful view and sounds of the ocean crashing in front of our eyes. The owners were on site this week. Mark and Steve are amazing guys always aware of our needs or questions. Great location close to. Sun Street, but away from the noise. Don’t hesitate- this little place in Heaven is real!

Sea Escape wonder

What a lovely property! The location is a nice jaunt to the main road, but with that comes relaxation and quietness. We stayed in the 1 bedroom condo- and were the only ones in the home. Blanca was accessible and organized tuk tuks to and from the property. The condo is well equipped and the linens were nice. The a/c was wonderful and generator a great back up. The landscape is beautiful and lends well to food for the iguanas and local birds. Would book again in a heartbeat. Stephen, Mark & Blanca- thank you for sharing your home.

Utila vacation

The place was really cute and well appointed. Our first night and morning were disrupted by construction noise because they were replacing the tile upstairs. Strong smell of gas coming from the ATVs in the garage, which was a real bummer. The host sent someone to check on the situation but unfortunately there wasn't any way of resolving it. The host was really helpful and responsive but this was unfortunately out of her control. They would need to park their ATVs somewhere else and I’m sure they probably don’t want to do that.

Thank you for providing feedback. Unfortunately, a couple of events happened to occur on your arrival date beyond control. With all the rain that occurred on the island, some of our upper deck tiles were discovered to have popped and needed to be repaired. We sincerely apologize for this disruption thus the reason all work was completed prior to 9pm that evening to minimize any disruption. Our manager was inspecting the work early the next morning and did apologize, however no work was occurring as it had been completed the night before. The ATV gasoline smell was a result of a tank leak and we are glad you reported it right away. We do apologize that the smell when entering our common hall entrance was present until cleaned up upon your reporting. We are glad that it did not permeate into the studio you were staying in as well as upstairs where other guests were staying and was confined to the entry hall adjacent to the bodega. Again - we do appreciate your staying with us and glad that the rest of your stay was enjoyable.

The BEST!!

We’ve been going to Utila since 2003 and have stayed many places, but this has got to be the best places to stay on Utila! We rented the studio apartment under the Coral Ridge House and it has EVERYTHING you could possibly want or need in a vacation rental! Mark & Stephen have created a beautiful home away from home with every amenity you could possibly need. And the beautiful views from even inside are breathtaking, but open the glass French doors and walk out onto the huge patio with rocking chairs, table & chairs and 2 hammocks, just steps from the water and it will absolutely take your breath away! We originally booked the Coral Ridge Studio apartment from August 9th through September 6th, but didn’t want to leave so we extended our stay till September 16th. And when you're staying at Coral Ridge House or Studio Apartment, anything and everything you could possibly want or need, whether it’s groceries, transportation, dive shops, or just places you want to go or see, then Blanca (manager) is the best of the best for taking care of everything you could possibly ask for! She’s not only a friend of ours, she’s also from Utila and an incredible asset to everyone who stays at the Coral Ridge House and studio apartment! So what are you waiting for, book your stay at the Coral Ridge House or Studio Apartment and come on down for the time of your life! Thank you Mark, Stephen & Blanca for the incredible vacation rental you’ve created! We’ll be back!! Cyndy & Tim

Clean and well kept property

We enjoyed our stay. Coral Ridge is a modern, and well kept property. Perfect view of the ocean, and the breeze was nice to have. Reasonable distance from the main part of town, so walking is easy. Also easy to contact the property manager, Blanca, and she responds almost immediately. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Amazingly comfortable house steps away from the beach where the sunrises everyday

We had a wonderful week staying at Coral Ridge House. It is a very clean, comfortable house. At night, you hear the waves lightly crashing, as the sound lulls you to sleep. There are two rocking chairs to view the ocean on. It is a 5 minute walk from Bando Beach which is beautiful, and a 15 minute into the centre of town. Our host Blanca was very friendly and helpful.

The best place to stay in Utila!

If you are looking for a beautiful home on Utila that is right on the ocean, walking distance to restaurants, shops and beaches, yet far enough away from the noise of the town, then this is the place for you! We spent 11 glorious nights in the studio apartment relaxing on the patio watching dolphins, egrets and herons, as well as all the dive boats that frequent the sites right out front. The apartment was very clean and beautifully designed with plenty of storage for all of our belongings. We grilled many evenings and found the kitchen well equipped for all of our cooking needs. In addition to all of this, Mark and Stephen were the perfect hosts. They helped us with our travel choices from Roatan to Utila, as well as put us in touch with Utila Dive Center, which fit all of our diving needs. They also had many wonderful restaurant recommendations, as well as suggestions for other things to do in addition to diving. On the island, Blanca picked us up at the airport when we arrived and took us to our ferry the morning we left the island. In addition, she checked in often to see if we needed anything. All in all, we found the Coral Ridge House to be the perfect place to stay and highly recommend it to everyone!

In 2014 we decided to purchase land and began planning our construction of our home, finishing it in the fall of 2015. We consider this our home away from home thus making it as comfortable for us as well as our guests.
