Enjoy up to 7 Homes and 3 separate pools on your very own Private Gated Estate

I am really confused by your review and the review of the other guests traveling with you. There were 8 other groups that stayed at the property during your stay. The 2 groups you actually did notice, which were Costa Rican families traveling in their own country, caused you to immediately contact me concerned that the pool was no longer going to be private for only you & your wife. I would like to take this opportunity to point out to you & prospective guests the listing states there are 6 homes on the private gated estate (at the time of this response we have recently added a 7th home because of demand). The pool is only private when guests rent all of the homes or there is no one else in the remaining homes. You did not seem to notice or care about the other 6 groups that stayed at the property including one family of 4 from New York which was in the house 60 meters away from you for over a week. Fortunately 3 of those groups left 5 star reviews on a competing site. Excerpts from those reviews include: 5 star-"We love bed the cabin and grounds. The host was most friendly and available. We had a lovely stay!" 5 star-"This villa was quite the jungle feel ! Amazing space beautiful just to open your bedroom door and see the nature life. We had amazing stay here. Our host was very welcoming accommodating with our needs and close by. Recommend a car or Uber to go to Jaco. Would definitely want to come back thanks again for the experience!!!" & 5 star-"Everything was good". I waited to post this response until other guests stayed in the same house because I wanted to make sure what you wrote didn't reflect the home (#2) you were staying in. “We were a group of 14 family members ranging in age from 1 to 63. I cannot tell how much we enjoyed our stay. Everyone was thrilled with our time Villas del Rey!! John (the manager) was wonderful, the houses and property are enchanting!! We stayed in houses 1,2,3 & 5, all of them are beautifully decorated with lovely gardens and numerous different types or fruit trees! We especially enjoyed the trees which were loaded with ripe fruit! The mango trees which are all over the property were also loaded with fruit but they need another few weeks to ripen! All in all this was a fabulous trip that none of us will ever forget!! We highly recommend this if you want to be immersed in nature and to enjoy the peace and tranquility of this little piece of heaven!! Love to you all and your families. Hopefully we will see you again!!”

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. When I was first contacted you were very clear that you wanted privacy. Some guests prefer to be close the pool, while others like to near where the troop of Mantled Howler Monkeys congregate, and other prefer maximum privacy. The property is 20 acres and has a variety of homes with their own private yard, terrace, seating area, and bbq. It is easier for me to offer guests their ideal vacation when I am told what they are looking for upfront. Thanks again for staying with us and we hope to have you again in the future.
