Large (1,100 sq ft) casita in the heart of Austin. Perfect South First location for Austin traveler/vacationer in Bouldin Creek district. Enjoy an oasis of calm right in the middle of all the action -- just a 10 minute walk to bustling South Congress and a quick drive/leisurely stroll to all that Downtown offers. Some of Austin's top restaurants, including Lenoir, Mattie's at Green Pastures, and Winebelly are only a few blocks away!

Updated luxurious accommodations including a brand new queen-sized mattress.

This is a spacious, 1,100 sq. ft, casita/guesthouse (comparable listings are generally half the square footage) where you can relax in peace or walk to most everything Austin has to offer.

To access, from the carport you'll enter via the gate and walk through the beautiful outdoor patio, where a shady tree grows up from the deck floorboards. Outdoor furniture offers seating for 12; deck is shared with the main house. Step through the expansive screened-in porch, and make your way into the casita.

Fully equipped kitchen and island with bar seating are open to the living room, complete with 40” flatscreen with DirecTV. In the kitchen, there's plenty of work space to cook a big meal or to assemble a picnic for a trek to Barton Springs. Accommodations also include a comfy, queen-sized sleeper sofa, large windows throughout, and a laundry area with washer and dryer.

Sizable master bedroom is located upstairs in the loft and features a luxe queen-size bed along with cool decor below a vaulted ceiling. Plenty of natural light, walk-in closet, and enough space for a blow-up mattress. Clean and elegant en suite bath has a stand-up rain shower.

Please Note: The second bed is a sofa bed located in the living room downstairs.

Wonderful spot for our trip to Austin!

Wonderful hosts and beautiful home! We rented a car and the casita was a quick drive from the airport. Everything was nicely laid out and clearly well thought out by our hosts. Super close to some great restaurants and pretty lovely artwork, we really enjoyed our time in South Austin. We would absolutely stay there again!

Great location! Great hosts!

Cute little property in a great location. We happened to be there the same week as SXSW, and it was great to be able to walk downtown and not to worry about the parking situation (or cost$$). Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Jennifer and Jeremy are great hosts and really made us feel welcome. Would totally stay here again!

Charming casita

This property is a wonderful destination for a couple visiting Austin. Spotless, and attractively decorated, with high quality towels and amenities. Fully stocked kitchen for those who wish to cook. The hosts are helpful and genuinely interested in your well-being. They live in the main house; the casita is completely separated, and is behind the house.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time visiting Austin. This casita is in a perfect location in a quiet neighborhood yet close to everything. Our hosts made our stay so comfortable. Very clean and lots of thoughtful touches like a welcoming bottle of champagne and snacks. Jennifer gave us restaurant suggestions and we tried several and they were all excellent. Highly recommend staying here!!

Love this Casita!!

This was everything we could have asked for and more. We LOVED the casita. Very clean, very warm and homey. Everything was well thought of and all the little details did not go unnoticed. We had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer and Jeremy. Made our experience even more pleasant. The bed was so comfortable…the great location ideal. I miss this Casita already. It was perfection! Wonderful accommodations and communication with owner was the best experience I’ve had so far. Great restaurants in walking distance and a fun welcome gift when we arrived. Would love to return for F1 race again next year. So much more comfortable then hotel.

Great hosts, great stay

We had a great stay here. The property had plenty of space and was comfortable. The location was great. Quiet but accessible to a lot. We stayed with our 1-year-old and it was a nice home base for exploring South Austin while still having a nice space to come back to for naps and in the evening. We didn’t feel like we had to tip toe around while our little one was sleeping. The hosts were awesome and gave some great suggestions of restaurants that were very close/a bit of a walk/an Uber ride away. We are big walkers so we were able to get to a lot on foot. Hosts were helpful, friendly, easy to communicate with and checked in to make sure everything was going well. We had a great stay!

Perfect backdrop for an Austin visit

Great Getaway in Austin

First, we were pleasantly surprised that our host was there to greet us when we arrived! The “casita” is gorgeous and in a great neighborhood close to great restaurants, bus stops, food trucks, and margaritas! We had a wonderful time!

Perfect for our Austin visit!

We couldn't have been happier with every aspect of our stay! The owners were perfect-- communicated quickly and were so friendly! The house is adorable. Comfy bed, sofa, and kitchen area. Completely quiet but within walking distance to plenty of fun places to eat. I really appreciated the extra pillows, towels, sheets and blankets, as our son ended up coming at the last minute so we had plenty of room/bedding for him. We can't wait to stay here again. Really was one of the nicest accommodations we have stayed in-- thank you!!

A true gem in Austin’s Bouldin neighborhood.

A Clean, private and well organized space with a great overall “vibe”. Close proximity to downtown, Barton Springs, and South Congress St. plus numerous restaurants and attractions makes the location very attractive. My wife and I spent a long weekend here and would love to return to it next time we are in town. Highly recommended.

Weekend getaway

We had such a lovely stay at the Casita! We will definitely be recommending our friends and family stay here if they visit Austin! Great walking distance to coffee shops, food trucks (the churro co. Is a must go to), a variety of restaurants and is minutes from downtown! If you are brave you could even use the scooters all around Austin! We have not one complaint about out our stay! Thank you for the hospitality!

My wife and I (and now daughter) are avid travelers and hit the road whenever possible. Recent destinations include Iceland, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, Brazil and Argentina.

If you are looking to "live like a local" there is no better area to experience this, in my opinion, than our property. Located in a very quiet neighborhood, but literally steps from the bustling restaurant/shopping districts of South 1st and South Congress (SOCO). In addition, downtown is only a 1.5 mile walk or a $6 UBER ride so you have easy access there as well. In other words, in the middle of everything that you could want to explore on your stay.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

My wife, daughter and I live on the property and there is a breezeway that connects to the Casita/guesthouse from the back porch. We are there to serve as resource, but you will have total and complete privacy in a remarkable home.

There are few 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath places in Austin which fit the following characteristics: large (1,100 sq ft.), multi-storied, modern, and luxurious. There are hardwood floors throughout, a second story loft style bedroom with a large bathroom and rain shower, a full kitchen, and washer/dryer. All the comforts of home away from home. In addition, there is a high end sofa bed for guests wanting an extra bed (guesthouse comfortably fits 4). Please read our reviews... the guest love our place and many return!
