Whether you want to unwind by the water with a good book, discover charming Corona del Mar, enjoy water sports or the nightlife of the beach area, you'll find that staying on the beach in Corona del Mar gives you many options. You can do everything, or just sit back, relax and do nothing.

Breakers Drive is a private gated community located directly on the oceanfront in Corona del Mar. The private road is not accessible to the public. The residence is newly built, approximately 2300 square feet. There are three bedrooms, two with king size beds, and the third with a queen bed and a twin. Residence sleeps 6 maximum. There are 4 full baths. The master bath suite includes a jetted tub, shower, and marble counters with double sink. The kitchen has granite counters, all stainless steel appliances, and is fully equipped. There is a covered deck with fantastic views of the beach, channel entrance, ocean, Catalina, and sunsets. With Catalina in the background, and the jetty to the Harbor, you have unlimited views of sailboats coming and going all day. These views are from the living area, kitchen, and formal dining room with french doors, all facing the ocean. The deck is located off the living area. Home has AC but is really not needed as the ocean breezes are refreshing. Maximum occupancy is 6 persons.

Excellent location and walkable to everything. Comfortable for our 2 week stay with 2 adults and 2 adult children for Christmas and New Years. Internet can be spotty so just pack your patience for some intermittent slowness / buffering. Bonnie and Dan are very communicative and house instructions detailed and clear. We are repeat renters and will be back again. Great holiday in CDM!

Ideal location to enjoy the beach! I chose this place because half of my family loves the sea and the other half likes to look at it—here you can please both! 5 minute drive to Balboa Island, 10 minutes to Fashion Island, and around 300 steps to the waves!!! We got to listen to seals as we fell asleep to the steady sound of the waves. We will be back!!

Location location location

We were thrilled with the location. We love CDM, and we’ve stayed there before. But we’ve never been able to walk out our door to the beach and the waterfront like this. It was truly incredible and allowed flexibility. Half the group could walk out to the beach and others could join when they felt like it. The house was just as described, with tasteful decor and high-quality details (even the closet doors were solid wood). We appreciated the beach items. Our only problem was the TV in the main living room. It only worked part of the time. We tried to watch a movie on Thanksgiving, and the system would not work. The next day it worked, and then it stopped working again. It was annoying and frustrating especially when the guys wanted to watch sports . Rated it a 5 Star anyway. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The house was amazing, & very clean. The location was perfect with enough privacy, beach access, & amazing views. It lacked a few kitchen & bath amenities & the patio furniture wasn't very comfortable. Otherwise, we had a great time. We would definitely consider renting again.

Great location

Beautiful property, spacious, very close to beach, good view from patio deck. Suggest additional sofa etc in living room as well as more comfortable lounge chairs or chase lounges on the deck since alot of time is spent their for the ocean view. Ice maker would be nice. Enjoyed our vacation there.

Loved our stay at Bonnie and Dan's Condo

We are from Southern Ca. now in Dallas and wanted to be back home. Loved our stay. The views everyday are just amazing, being on the water where you can just walk out and swim in the ocean and our hosts were wonderful. You have everything you need for a great beach vacation.

relax time before twins

It was a perfect location and house for my family. The lay out was super for us we could play cards inside or out side. The kitchen is a nice layout for cooking everything we needed was available. We even did a little planning for next year if the house is available for next year. Thank you to our hosts Bonnie and Dan for an incredible week.

Bonnie and Dan were very responsive with any questions. They have a lovely condo that is just as described, with amazing access to the beach and the CDM village. Fantastic house in a fantastic location

Very clean, very well laid-out, very comfortable home in a can’t-be-beat location on “big Corona” beach. The house is on an interesting street…off the upper-level road headed to the beach, go straight and you’re in the public parking for the beach - turn left to get to the private, gated access to the street with the houses closest to the beach. Almost makes you feel sorry for the people in the homes up above (almost…). Along with a parking lot, the beach has lifeguards, volleyball nets, public restrooms, and a snack bar (on the other side of the snack bar, there is a casual restaurant called “The Jetty” which has great reviews on Yelp, but was closed during our stay). 6 adults were comfortably housed in 3 bedrooms. 1 king bed, 2 queens (there is an additional single bed in one of the queen BRs). There are 4 showers (one is downstairs in the bathroom on the garage level next to the laundry room) which made getting ready for dinner after the beach a quick process - and there must be instant water heaters, as the water gets hot quickly, we didn’t run out of hot water, and 4 showered simultaneously with adequate water pressure for all. Beds were comfortable - one note: only the living room and master BR have TVs. Our favorite spot was the balcony/patio, where we had most of our meals. The living and dining rooms connect to the patio, so along with the beautiful view of the beach, open the sliding glass and French doors to enjoy the sounds of the surf from inside as well. Kitchen was reasonably stocked and very clean - has a regular coffee maker plus a keurig. All kitchen appliances: stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker (and downstairs washer and dryer) plus patio BBQ worked well (BBQ is conveniently hooked up to the house gas line, so no running out of propane). The garage is crazily spacious and long - fit two mid-size SUVs parked one behind the other with plenty of room on all sides. A third car parked in the driveway. We all considered ourselves so fortunate to have been able to stay at this beautiful home and thank Bonnie and Dan for allowing us to do so. Their rental rates are so reasonable I have to admit I was afraid it wouldn’t live up to the listing - but everything about the house exceeded our expectations. We are already making plans to come back next year!
