The Kitchen and foyer have been remodeled in 2020. Custom art work .
The Whaler is located in the heart of Ka'anapali. Whalers village is right next door. There is shopping ,restaurants and convience stores. Golfing is nearby. The beautiful catamarans come right up in front of the Whaler many times per day. From the lanai , living room and bedroom you can enjoy watching the catamarans. Amazing sunrise and sunset views from the lanai. Unit 711 is center court facing with beautiful views of the Island of Lanai, the beautiful ocean , beautifully landscaped grounds and Koi pond. Enjoy the sounds of the ocean while sipping coffee or having a drink . You will truly enjoy all that Ka'anapali has to offer.
This spacious 1 bedroom 2 bath condo is south facing with beautiful views. The lobby was just renovated and the hallway project was completed last year. Unit 711 hall way has been completed. The bathroom cabinets are custom made from mango wood and mahogany. New upholstered dinning and living room chairs, new couch and bedroom chairs. Free WIFI, and cable. Free use of washer dryer adjacent to the elevators. Each tower has beachfront grills. The state of the art gym was completed a few years ago. It is in the lower level of tower 1.The resort fee includes parking, pool towels and coffee in the morning. We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance. The Whaler charges a resort for of 35.00 per day. This includes parking and all resort amenities. Free washer dyer use at the end off hall. Just need to provide your own soap. Tennis/pickle ball courts, free use of rackets and balls, Coffee, tea in the lobby and pool side. Pool towels may be changed out as many times per day as you like.

Great view for both sunrise and sunset. Host allowed us to check in early which was appreciated after the long flight. The resort has sturdy beach chairs available (covered by the resort fee) which is a great improvement over hauling chairs from your unit.

Our host-Judy was great. The beach view from the Lanai was great. Lots of activity to watch. The barbecue areas were most disappointing. The pool was a little small for the size of the property. They should install a kidding pool.

Everything exceeded our expectations. Beach was so convenient and gorgeous. Pool was exceptional. View from balcony was amazing.

Gorgeous condo, right on the beach, with beach and mountain views. Easy parking, and easy walk to everything. Comfortable, perfect for two people. The second bathroom is a wonderful feature. Very well-stocked kitchen. Right down the beach from Black Rock, so there is easy beach snorkeling nearby. I would definitely stay here again, we had a fabulous vacation!

Fabulous Whaler Condo

The condo was pristine! Fabulous location. Quick responses from the host. We slept to the sounds of the waves on the beach. Great view. Could not have asked for more.

The Whaler is by far our favorite Maui destination. The grounds of this location are pure perfection. The staff are top notch, customer service is their focus. The Condo, is great, great views and amenities. The owner is the nicest, her communication is outstanding.

Impeccable property and location!

The pictures of this place do not do it justice! The property is huge and has a very large balcony overlooking the courtyard/pool and ocean! The location is amazing as well. Within walking distance to 20ish restaurants/ cafes. The beach out front is also great with places to lay out. If you go farther down the road the beach is no longer there. If beach is important to you I would definitely stay here! Also just a short beach walk to black rock with great snorkeling. Would 100% recommend and stay at this property again

Excellent property

One of the best properties we have stayed at in our many trips to Maui. Amenities are fabulous and the property was excellent inside and out. One of the easiest property managers I have ever dealt with and give them a 5 star rating. Had a great stay and loved the location and the view every morning. Short trip for a wedding, but was just what the doctor ordered before we caught a cruise to Alaska the next week. Can't say enough good things about the place and the owners..

Comfort of bed

The location of the unit was excellent. The unit was well stocked with household supplies and utensils. The unit was attractively furnished. The only negative was the mattress/cover did not provide any support and a person would sink into the foam.

Wonderful Vacation Getaway

My husband and I heard about the Whaler through friends of ours and Judy’s unit more than lived up to expectations! We loved watching the sunset over dinner, the ease of access to the beach walk and directly onto the beach, and the cleanliness of the pool facilities. Judy was quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you are traveling to Kaanapali!

A week of Aloha

Stunning views of the ocean with the sun setting over the island of Lanai in full view from the lanai of this beautifully appointed unit made our anniversary week memorable. We would definitely request this unit again. The beautiful grounds below with the array of Koi fish swimming around in the pond is most enjoyable and peaceful and icing on the cake.The Whaler on Kaanapali is always our first and only resort choice and has been for over 20 years.

Great location!

The property was great and on site staff were very friendly. It had a large balcony overlooking the ocean and the Kaanapali boardwalk was steps away from the resort. Great place to stay!

A slice of paradise in the Whaler 711

Thank you for your warm Aloha, Judy! Your property is even more beautiful than the pictures! Everything we needed was either provided or close by. Judy was very accessible and responsive. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay, with such a gorgeous view! For anyone planning well in advance, be sure to get advanced reservations for Mamas Fish House Restaurant. We had an exquisite lunch there and enjoyed every aspect of it!

Fabulous place to stay on Kaanapali Beach

The unit was exactly as advertised, and the location is terrific! There are a bunch of sit-down restaurants within walking distance, plus the food court at Whaler Village if you want something quick and casual. The beach is quite wide around the Ashton, and it's a short walk to snorkel at Black Rock. We'd happily stay here again!

Views for miles

This is the most relaxed we’ve been in awhile. The views from the balcony are better in person than in photos. We spent some pleasant hours there! Beautiful in the morning and at sunset. Falling asleep in the very comfortable king size bed listening to the waves was wonderful. The kitchen was fully equipped and spotless. I don’t personally love carpet in a beach property because it’s hard not to track traces of sand in, but that’s just a personal preference. The Whaler complex is within walking distance of many restaurants and shops, as well as the beach boardwalk. The check in/out process was quick and easy. The pool area was not fancy, but there were always chairs available. Being right on the beach, sitting around the pool wasn’t a priority for us, but we did use the hot tub and pool a couple of times, and they were nice. Communication with the owner was easy and timely. It’s a very comfortable and convenient vacation stay!

Fabulous Condo at the Whaler

This condo was wonderful with a beautiful view out to the ocean. We enjoyed the sunsets over Lanai on our Lanai. The condo is clean and spacious. The bed is heavenly. We would definitely come back again.
