Amazing oceanfront 1 bedroom, 2 full bath condo. Located in tower 1, 4th floor, unit #407, at The Whaler Resort on a beach often voted "one of the worlds most beautiful".

We are on the south "sunny" side of tower #1. Our home is one unit back from ocean front, with commanding views of the Pacific Ocean and island of Lanai to the west. The beautiful West Maui Mountains are seen looking east from the spacious 213 square foot deck.

Completely remodeled in 2015 with Sub-Zero refrigerator, filtered water system, and all new appliances. Gorgeous granite countertops, high-end cabinets, travertine floors and new lighting. Enjoy ocean views from living room area and the bedroom. The bedroom features a king sized bed with new, firm mattress. The living room couch features a pull out couch bed with a new "memory foam" mattress. A twin sized inflatable bed is also available. Large screen TV with free cable available in both living room and bedroom. Free Wifi throughout.

Free washer/dryers are located on each floor near the elevators. We provide the laundry soap and fabric softener pads.

The Whaler, one of only two premier condominium resorts on Kaanapali Beach, boasts impressive amenities that include a concierge, bellman, newly remolded pool and hot tub, spacious newly remodeled lobby, fully equipped fitness center, newly refinished tennis courts, business center, as well as gas barbecues with ocean views. The Royal Kaanapali golf course (36 holes) is a short walk across the street

We are located adjacent to Whaler's Village which features dozens of shops, 3 excellent beachside restaurants, a food court, an escape room, and a whale museum.

Kaanapali Beach is yearly rated one of the top 10 rated beaches worldwide. You are closer to the beach at the Whaler than any other condominium. You will be treated to views of whales (November - April), dolphins, turtles, and exquisite Hawaiian sunsets. Enjoy outstanding views of the island of Lanai, Molakai, Kaanapali Beach, the Pacific ocean, and the West Maui Mountains.

There is an additional "Resort Fee" of $35.00/night charged by The Whaler Resort Complex. This fee covers parking, use of pool and facilities (24 hour front desk staff, work out room, pool, tennis, barbecues), plus free beach chairs, and free beach towel replacement "on demand" daily. You can also rent private beach cabana's for your daily use.

The above mentioned resort fee is not part of our rent. It is a separate fee collected by the Whaler Resort and is collected by the front desk staff as you check out.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation 60+ days prior to check in: Full Refund
Cancellation 59 days or fewer: No Refund

If you cancel fewer than 60 days out, we will make every effort to re-rent the unit. If it rents, we will reimburse you the amounts received up to the full amount of your payment, less any VRBO or bank transaction fees.

We STRONGLY RECOMMEND you get travel insurance. Life is full of uncertainty.

End of stay cleaning fee $195.00.

The condo was even better than described with an amazing view and a perfect location within the building. This place is very well stocked with all the necessities of home, which made our stay very comfortable We would highly recommend anyone wanting to experience Maui with the view and all the best this property has to offer, definitely consider staying here!

Perfect Vacation Stay

Really enjoyed my time at the Whaler. The location of the condo was perfect. I especially enjoyed my mornings listening to the beach waves and birds while drinking coffee. It was the perfect place to stay for a summer recharge.

Our small family love our stays at the Whaler. If you looking are for Kaanapali beach with the pool closest to the beach with access to food, then look no further. The Unit had everything we needed of course with its prime location.

Stay in Paradise

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo in a beautiful location. It’s been a few years since we have been to Maui but it never disappoints. The initial booking and subsequent correspondence with Rebecca and Christian was easy and timely. We did have to contact Karen while we were there for one small thing and she was amazing! The condo is beautiful and well equipped with everything you might need. Will definitely look to book again on our next trip. Thank you!

Maui 2023

The unit was beautiful and and well kept for. Updated all around. There were many extras left for us that we didn't expect but sure came in handy. We had an awesome view from our huge balcony that you could access from the living room and bedroom. Mountains on the left and the beach, ocean, and pool on the right. So many great restaurants and activates to do as well. Rebecca & Christian were great hosts and responded quickly to any questions we had before our stay and during. Karen the cleaning person was also quick with a response when we had a question. She also gave us some handy tips too. We has a wonderful time and definitely will be staying again in the future.

Better than the pictures!

This was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed! The place was very clean and had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The beach was beautiful as well and close to shopping and restaurants. We had an issue with the air mattress, but it was resolved within hours. Thank you so much for a wonderful week!!

Luxurious, comfortable, well-stocked

Spacious, well-appointed, extremely clean, very well-maintained condo with comfortable king bed and lovely furnishings throughout. Upscale decor. Beautiful large kitchen and bathrooms. Whatever you need—from mailing tape to dishwasher pods—is in one drawer or another. Lots of dishes and pots and pans, kitchen gadgets, coffee bean grinder, 4-slice toaster, pizza cutter, aluminum foil, cling wrap, Ziploc bags, paper towels, Kleenex, toilet paper, little bars of soap, hand lotion, shower caps and more. Filtered water spigot by sink. Roomy lanai with two loungers and table/4 chairs with comfy seat cushions. Has 2 beach chairs and a beach umbrella, although lighter-weight chairs are free from pool kiosk, as are towels. Has 1 boogie board and a small bag of kiddie sand toys. Easy trip to the pool down 4 floors of stairs (and we are in our late 70s and early 80s). Elevator if you want. Pool always had vacant lounge chairs during our stay the first week of June. Secret gate behind the lobby is a great shortcut to the ABC store and Whaler’s Village shops. This has to be one of the very best condos in the lovely Whaler’s complex. Everything is top-notch. Highly recommend it.

Great condo and view!

We loved this condo! The condo itself was spacious and updated and the lanai / view was amazing. We enjoyed relaxing on the lanai for hours. The Whaler was a great property with a beautiful beach and the convenience of shops and restaurants right there. It's also close to Lahaina harbor which is a lot of fun to walk around. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Exactly as Advertised

This is the best condo that we have stayed in at the Whaler in the last 4 years. The kitchen is well stocked, extra toiletries are available in the bathrooms if you forgot anything. And the view is top notch. Loved watching whales from the balcony. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo near great snorkeling.

Beautiful condo with incredible views from balcony. We spotted dozens of humpback whales. Loved our stay there. 10 minute walk down the beach to snorkeling by Black rock. Saw many turtles, fish, and some coral. Ample parking with many restaurants within walking distance. Very much enjoyed our stay.

A Dream at the Whaler!

I've stayed in a few properties at the Whaler, and this was by far the best. The views are stunning, the place is gorgeous, and Karen, the local island contact, is super nice and extremely responsive. The kitchen is very well stocked if you want to cook at the condo, and they keep extra toiletries in the bathrooms also. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We are a retired OR nurse and construction consultant from the Seattle area. We are enjoying our kids and grandkids and traveling internationally while we are still "young enough" to go. Although we love seeing countries around the world, we find that our Kaanapali vacations are always the most truly relaxing.

We have been coming to Maui since the 1970's and after 40+ trips we found Kaanapali Beach to be our favorite area in Maui, and The Whaler to be our favorite place to stay on beautiful Kaanapali Beach.

We have enjoyed many beaches worldwide and always come back to this as our overall favorite. Kaanapali Beach is repeatedly ranked by travel magazines as one of the worlds most beautiful beaches.

Steps from the beach and pool. Steps from shops and dining. Steps from golf and tennis. Huge decks. Amazing views of the ocean, garden, koi pond, and pool from the living room or bedroom. Truly one of the best beach locations on the island of Maui.

We take pride in paying the utmost attention to our home and to the needs of our guests (please see our reviews). We will try to make your stay in paradise as wonderful as possible.
