For work or play and TX hospitality at its best. The suite has a cozy sitting area, desk, fireplace, queen bed w/luxurious linens, continental breakfast/coffee bar/and plenty of goodies. LARGE custom bathroom w/spa shower and all the necessary essentials. Ceiling fans and comfy furnishing. Levoit air purifier in suite. Washer/dryer available in ā€˜common areaā€™. This is a 1927mail order Bungalow, but has been updated w/all the modern conveniences. The look is rustic/elegant, TX Hill Country, with a touch of Romance! Large private parking lot, surrounded by beautiful plants and shade trees. Each suite has their own private entrance and each has access to a very nice covered porch/sitting area for morning coffee and evening relaxation,. The property is very close to downtown - actually within walking distance to restaurants, breweries, drug strore, court house, Cailloux Theatre, multiple churches, very close to our beautiful municipal golf course, high school stadium, plus the VA, Peterson and State hospitals, Schreiner College is right down the road, the Guadalupe River and 5 mile walking trail is very close and our list could go on and on!! Kerrville is a great place for motorcyclists, bicyclists, old car enthusiast - TXHighway 39 hugs the Upper Guadalupe River, we are not actually on TX 39 BUT we serve as a great staging point for the rest of the Hill Country, no matter which direction you choose to go. We are close to Bandera, Leaky, Lost Maples State Park, Medina, Comfort, Ingram, Hunt, Fredericksburg, Luckenbach, Sisterdale, Boerne, the ā€œThree Twisted Sisterā€™ trails, etc. You could even go on a day tour of some of the nearby wineries, breweries, and distilleries COME ENJOY YOURSELF - we would love to have you stay at our quaint little BnB!
We do want to let you know our BnB is located on a corner lot - there is traffic, so there may be a little ā€˜trafficā€™ noise. And there are also 3 (total) private suites in the Main building.

This accomodation was amazing! I can't even list all the little details that the owner had made available that really made the rooms comfortable and adorable. I have no problem recommending this property to others coming to te Kerrville area. The ONLY thing that was awkward was the thermostat, but I found it and figured it out. Thanks, Clair!

Oasis in the Hill Country

This beautiful property is exactly as you see online. The owner has done a wonderful job with these bungalows and all the appointments. The host is extremely personal in greeting you and making you feel at home. This is the only place we will stay in the Hill Country. It is a 10 out a 10 in every way. Thank you for your gracious hospitality.

Excellent stay

The suite is very comfortable with everything you could possibly need and MORE! We were upgraded to the bigger unit with a massive king sized bed and very comfortable sitting area. The porch outside the door was a perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and just relax after driving all day. The house is close to downtown and lots of restaurants. The compact built in kitchen was stocked with all kinds of snacks and breakfast items. I would highly recommend staying here if youā€™re looking for accommodation in Kerrville. It is far superior to any hotel.

Wonderful place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at boisā€™d arc. The room was comfortable and clean. Clair was an amazing hostess and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Kerrville Getaway

So quaint and lovely. Every amenity was considered and available. The Host was so thoughtful and let us know we could check in early and shared a brief history of the property. She was wonderful. The location is walking distance from downtown.

Amazing property!

This property exceeded my expectations! It was so clean, comfy bed and so much space. The furnishings are all beautiful antiques. Every detail is perfect. The snacks provided were a welcome treat after a long drive. Wonderful location which is just a short walk into downtown for any meal or shopping. Canā€™t wait to go back! Claire is amazing and this property is a true gem.

Wonderful stay

I can't say enough good things about this VRBO. The owner, Clair, is just fabulous. She is warm and gracious, and had lots of information about the area. She has an extraordinary eye for detail in her suites and common areas. Our stay far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful little gem

We will definitely start here again. Just dropped our kid at school. Quick trip over night, but this place was perfect and has everything you would ever need. Makes you feel at home. Host is very pleasant. Drinks snacks breakfast treats and coffee.

We have met the dearest, most wonderful guests/friends, a person could ever hope or dream for, by owning and operating our BnBā€¼ļøWhen we initially purchased this 1927 Bungalow (we think a Sears Roebuck catalog one) it was to be our office! We remodeled it at that time for that sole purpose and used it for several years! Then our daughter suggested turning it into a BnB - so here we go remodeling it again!
But that has been the very best decision we made, we have had the privilege of being able to meet the most interesting people from all walks of life and hope to do so for many yearsšŸ˜‰

Por que o anfitriĆ£o escolheu essa propriedade

As I mentioned earlier - this was initially purchased to be our office. But after a few years, things changed. The property is actually are part of a whole block, with 3 sides facing a street and we put in a private parking lot. Also we are situated just a few blocks from downtown - so very, very convent to most everything (restaurants, the Calioux, breweries, coffee shops, municipal golf course, River walk and much, much more)
Since we do have 2 corners, there is traffic noise when you are outside, but when you are inside itā€™s very muffled and the atmosphere is cozy/comfy!

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

Kerrville is a great base for the motorcyclists, bicyclists, old car buffs, wine and beer enthusiasts, ā€˜River ratsā€™ (the Guadalupe River offers such an array of wonderful activities - boating, tubing, swimming, 5 mile river walking path, kiaking, etc.). Tx Highway 39 hugs the Upper Guadalupe River, we are not actually on TX39 BUT we can serve as a great staging ploint for the rest of the TX Hill Country, no matter which direction you decide to go! We are close to Bandera (the Cowboy Capital of TX), San Antonio (with its popular River Walk, The Alamo, many old Missonaryā€™s, etc), Boerne, Fredericksburg (an amazing old German town with more shopping than you can do in a day), Luckenbach (Willie Nelson played here, outdoor seating, singing, good food and roosters in the trees), Lost Maples State Park (beautiful hiking), Medina; Comfort and Ingram (both great if you like antiques), Ingram is an ā€˜artists delightā€™ and also offers outdoor summer plays; looking for an absolutely beautiful drive - high natural rock walls and flowing creek for miles an miles, just follow along the Hunt road!), the ā€˜Three Twisted Sistersā€™ (motorcyclists love these three uniquely beautiful twisted roads), There is so much to keep you occupied in our area, we are close to so much and in such a diverse area. Plus, we have so many wineries popping up (they say we are going to be the second Napa Valley), also many breweries and a few distilleries - there are limoā€™s that will pick you up and drop you back off, right at the BnBā€™s front door. This property is close to downtown - so within walking distance you can go to restaurants, breweries, dive bars, clubs, The Cailloux Theatre, multiple churches, drug store, etc, And close driving distance is Schreiner College, our beautiful municipal golf course, the VA, Peterson and State hospitals, the list could go on and on. You will just have to come visit our beautiful Texas Hill Country to see for yourself - promise not to steer you wrong!
