Two story, 3 BR, 2.5 Bath. Large front and back yard, fully landscaped. Large stone patio with table, chairs, fire pit, gas and charcoal grills, private outdoor shower and large covered front porch. Relax by the warm gas firepit bowl on the front porch. Family room with a 58 inch Smart TV and fireplace. TV streaming via YouTube TV (subject to change). Comfortably sleeps up to twelve guests with 3 spacious bedrooms. First floor master with queen bed. Two large upstairs bedrooms each with two queen sized beds. Upper level loft with pull out couch and 55 inch Smart TV (controlled w/ Amazon Firestick). A/C, Heat, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Quartz Countertops throughout. Culligan Reverse Osmosis filtered drinking water available in the kitchen. Newly installed water softener providing softened water throughout the home. Linens, bath towels and beach towels included.

Bluff and beach conditions cannot be guaranteed due to lake levels and weather.

Enjoy the perfect location. Less than 5 miles/10 minutes to downtown South Haven's shops, restaurants, bars, Black River, Marina Cay, North and South Beach. Twenty minutes North to Saugatuck/Douglas (Oval Beach). Thirty minutes South to St. Joseph (Silver Beach). Enjoy an endless variety of Orchards, Wineries, Breweries, Golfing, Dune Rides, Shops and Restaurants all conveniently located nearby.

By booking with us, renter agrees to waiver and release of liability for use of elevator (tram) and stairs to private beach:

Tenant understands that the elevator use for beach access is provided by the landlord through the LAKE MICHIGAN TRAM ASSOCIATION ("Association") and that stairway use for beach access is provided by landlord through THE NEW MIAMI PARK STAIRS ASSOCIATION ("Association") as free accommodations to the Tenant and their guests, and that such use may impose risk and liability. Being aware of such risk and liability, the Tenant agrees the use shall be at their sole risk and not that of the LAKE MICHIGAN TRAM ASSOCIATION and THE NEW MIAMI PARK STAIRS ASSOCIATION. The Tenant waives and releases any and all claims or potential claims against the Association arising from or relating to their use of the elevator.

Labor Day weekend

Truly an amazing house, location and stay! We traveled with 6 adults and 2 children and the house had everything and more to accommodate the big family. Easy access to the beach with tons of things to entertain the kids. Highly recommend!!

South Haven Gem

The location and area were just what we wanted. Short walk to an amazing view of the coastline. If you are a walker, you will find quiet roads and beautiful views. The house was perfect for our family of seven and close to town, farmers markets and a short drive to Holland. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Home & great proximity to beaches

We had such a wonderful visit in this beautiful home and neighborhood. The sunsets from the bluff were beautiful and the space was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the evenings by the fire pit. Thanks so much for welcoming our family.

Perfect house in a perfect location!

This was our third stay at Alex and Lori's house, and it will not be our last! The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable for our multi-age family. We absolutely love the location between South Haven ans Saugatuck, and with a beautiful beach with breathtaking sunsets at the end of the street.

Peaceful Retreat

Alex and Lori’s house was absolutely perfect for our family getaway. It provided a perfect resting place after being at the beach, exploring the neighboring areas, or shopping all day. Many laughs and memories were made here! The house was absolutely perfect and the hosts provided everything one would need in the house!

South Haven Trip

We loved our trip to South Haven. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Very nice yard, fire pit and grill. 2 blocks from great views of Lake Michigan and just a short drive to great public beaches downtown. The process of getting in and out was seamless and the owners were very helpful.

A fantastic family getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Alex and Lori’s South Haven property! The house was so well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Around every turn I was pleasantly surprised at how much thought they’d put into making each room ready for guests to have the perfect stay. It was a very easy drive into town but far enough out to feel relaxing and tranquil without the crowds. Thanks for sharing your vacation home with our family.

Perfect MI home

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Family of 5 that included three grown children. We had plenty of room, everything was super clean, owners were AWESOME! We loved the back yard space, so relaxing to sit around the fire pit roasting marshmallows. If you’re thinking about staying here, do it! You won’t regret it.

One of the best stays we've ever had!

This is a wonderful property. It is clean, neat, fully stocked with the things you would expect, well decorated without being cluttered. The kitchen is big enough for multiple people. The bedrooms are large and the living space is roomy. I will definitely consider this for my next extended stay in South Haven.

60th Birthday celebration by South Haven

Great hosts, accessible and friendly. Beautiful, clean, well manicured house and property just north of South Haven. Easily can accommodate 6 people. Beautiful view of the lake at the end of the road into the neighborhood. Kids loved the firepit at night making smores. Quick drive to South Haven beaches and Saugatuck.

Darling property in pristine condition. Enjoyed game night at the large farm table and roasting s'mores over the fire pit. Quiet neighborhood with a short drive to the downtown tourist area. Love it!

Great Home Base to Explore

This is a great place to explore South Haven and the rest of SW Michigan. It's a short drive to the various South Haven beaches, but the distance means you get a little yard space, fire pit etc. The semi-private beach offers a dip, but the stairs are a bit precarious and not as much soft sand. The property is nice, recent construction, the outdoor shower is a real bonus. Kitchen is well furnished. Great owners who are very responsive.

Perfect family vacation

We had the best vacation in South Haven! Alex's home fit our needs for our family of six (including four teens) perfectly. The house is beautiful, even more so than the pictures depict. We spent plenty of time at the beach at the end of the road and enjoyed sunsets, rock hunting and swimming daily. The adorable towns of South Haven and Saugatuck are a short drive from the house. Communication with the hosts was excellent. We hope to be back soon! Thanks for a great week!

Great home for a family vacation!

This is the perfect home for a family vacation! The home is clean and stocked with all the essentials you need. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in the door. The loft area upstairs is a great place for kids to play or watch a movie. The backyard is a great set up for bbqs during the day and bonfires in the evening. Alex and Lori are attentive host and made sure we had everything we needed. The communication was the best I have experienced with a property host. The drive to town/beach is less than 10 minutes and we didn't mind the short commute. Hope to stay again in the future.

4th of July getaway

We had a great experience staying in this rental for the holiday weekend this year! It’s only about a 10 minute drive to the main two beaches in SOHA, and has its own bit of rocky beach access as well just at the end of the street. We were able to walk just minutes for sunset every night and access the beach whenever to relax. The house is very well kept and has a lot of amazing smart features. If you don’t mind having to drive into town, this is the perfect rental for you. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice stay for any and all ages, and we would love to come back again. It worked out so well for us, and know it will for you too☺️

Adorable!

Cute and comfortable house! We had a great stay with 2 couples and 2 kids (8 and 11). Everyone had plenty of space and the house is so nicely decorated. Welcoming vibe the minute you walk in. We loved the porch swing, outdoor shower, and both fire pits. You can tell the owners really thought out what would work best for this house. Beach was walkable, but as stated in the listing, you need to go down stairs or use the tram. Location is great - right in between South Haven and Saugatuck. Owner was responsive and helpful! :)

Lovely home and great location

Our family enjoyed our stay in South Haven. The home was lovely with beautiful decor and the location was perfect. Thank you Lori & Alex for excellent hospitality. There is beach access at the end of the street for viewing . The steps to get down are quite steep and there are many. The drive to a nice beach for family fun is just 5-10 minute drive. We spent much of our time at North Beach (<10 min drive). We also spent a day in Saugatuck, another nearby town with great food and shopping. We also enjoyed the backyard grilling and fire pit. We highly recommend checking out ‘Taste’ for a delicious meal if when you go into South Haven. We will definitely be back!

Perfection!

My husband, our adult daughters and their boyfriends stayed for a week and there are not enough positive words to describe this home! The home is prettier in person and so well appointed. The mud room was perfect for all the beach gear we brought and the outdoor shower was great for getting the sand off. The beach cart in the mud room was extremely helpful at the beach. Everything you needed was there to make a most comfortable and memorable stay, inside and outside. Thank you Alex and Lori for sharing your home. I’d rate your home and our stay 10 stars if it were available!

Amazing Summer Vacation

The house is beautiful! The size was perfect for my family and extended family. The three bedrooms are spacious and 2 1/2 baths were very nice. The kids loved the upstairs areas with pull-out couch and TV. The kitchen was perfect for cooking large family meals with very nice appliances, large sink and dining area. The hosts were very responsive and checked in with us to ensure were were enjoying our stay. The area was very quiet which was nice. It was great to be able to quickly visit both South Haven and Saugatuck. We made use of the fire pit each night and visited the beach down the street almost each day along with using the outside shower. Due to high water the beach was not as extensive as in past years when we have visited the area but that is to be expected. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful family experience!

Home is cozy, well stocked and beautiful. Little things like night lights and outlets for chargers, etc all thought of! Comfy beds and linens. Smores bar well appreciated and used with gas firepit on porch even during the rain during our stay. Tram to private beach is nice for a quick adventure but we still opted to hear to North Beach for the day. Rental is no pet policy but I suspect owners have a dog due to pet hair found around the house…in places a toddler explores! Not enough to deter us from staying here again, but something to note if you have allergies and likely a deeper clean by housekeeping would take care of it. Alex, owner, great to communicate with via text. We enjoyed the home with Grandma, mom, dad and four kids ranging from 1-8 years. You won’t be disappointed!

Perfect July 4th getaway!

This property was amazing! It was perfect for a visit to South Haven for 4th of July. The property, communication with the owner, and location were all outstanding! The property was very clean and well-decorated. The gas fire pit on the front porch and the wood-burning fire pit in the backyard both got plenty of use. After a day of exploring South Haven, having such relaxing options at night was a great way to bring the family together. The outdoor shower was very convenient for washing off sand and making sure not to drag it into the house. The upstairs loft was great for teenagers that wanted their own space. The owners left beach gear (towels, wagon, mat, etc) that was perfect for not only the private beach, but easy to take to North/South beach. Overall all the property and amenities exceeded expectations. The owners were very responsive and proactive in communication. We had no issues during the trip, but knew exactly how to get in touch with the owners. The owners both delivered great service through excellent communication. The location worked very well for us. It is 5 minutes out of town, but the road to town connects you right with Pheonix street. Groceries are available at Aldi's, Meijers, and Walmart right at the edge of town near the property. Was very easy to get in and out of town. Fireworks in Bangor, MI on the 4th were fantastic! Go to South Haven and book this property!

My family and I were very happy with our stay. The house is comfortable with an awesome front porch and great backyard. If we weren't at the beautiful beach (2 blocks from the house), we were outside enjoying the beautiful Michigan weather! Owners are great and very easy to contact. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting South Haven!
